I picked up Benefit’s They’re Real mascara on a whim when I saw it on sale and I’m so glad I did. It really gives my lashes lift and sharp definition and I like working with the rounded tip of the brush to get the tiniest lashes. My only gripe is that sometimes the base of the bristles on the brush deposits a bit too much product so I really have to be careful not to let that happen or it creates clumps. If I take my time and apply carefully I get excellent results though so it’s a pretty minor complaint. Wish I’d found it sooner! -

I received this exfoliating treatment in a subscription box and I was excited to try it out. The colour is a dark green out of the tube, and I really like the aroma (very earthy). I just use a small dollop and I find it’s enough as this product packs a punch! It has a nice fine grittiness to the texture and I can feel my skin warming from the active ingredients almost instantly when I use it. I don’t have sensitive skin but I have to be careful not to rub this exfoliator too hard or leave it on too long or it can really take a layer off of me. However, using a gentle circular motion for a couple minutes and a lukewarm water rinse my skin feels amazing - totally clean and refreshed and so soft! I like to use it every five days in the evening and follow with an intensive moisturizer, totally feels like I’ve had a facial. Price point is an issue but as I mentioned a little goes a long way. -

It left my armpits feeling greasy (not great for clothes) and although the scent was nice I found myself feeling much less than fresh. I gave it a good chance (over a month) because I know your body needs time to adjust but I just didn’t see improvement. Won’t buy again. -

Most days I prefer to apply a light layer using my fingertips because I find it’s just enough to even out my skin and it looks and feels natural and not cakey. I love the squeeze bottle, makes it easy to get the right amount out without wasting. -

I knew before my first baby was born that I didn’t want to have a giant monstrosity of a stroller to lug around or try to push through busy areas so I’m so glad we went with the B-Agile by Britax. It’s light weight and I can open, push and manoeuvre it with one hand. No issues squeaking into small spaces with it but it isn’t ideal for rougher terrain. My main complaints are that I wish the backrest had a more upright position and that it came with a tray (had to purchase that separately but it was worth it). Also, no cup holder! You need to get that seperately too. -

These are amazing for developing that pincher grasp and learning to self feed. They dissolve quickly so you don’t have to stress about your baby choking (should still always be monitored while eating) and are very mildly flavoured. They also stick to the fingers with the tiniest bit of moisture so it’s very easy for babies to get these to their mouths. They’ve got a lot of iron (40% of daily value in 2/3 of a cup)! I just wish they came in larger containers, I feel like I’m paying for packaging more than contents. -

These are the only baby food purée pouches we buy and feed to our littles! The ingredients are simple and they’re packed with good nutrients from fruit and veggies. They’re super handy to toss into your bag when you’re on the go, and even when my toddler is going through a picky stage they will almost always down one of these. Our favourite is the “spinach, kiwi, apple and broccoli” purée but there is such a great selection of flavours. -

Received this in a gift with purchase and I like it ok but it’s definitely not love. I feel like it works better for me in the warmer months but when my skin gets dry in winter it just isn’t enough. Feels nice going on, maybe a little greasy but not bad, and absorbs quickly. Overall I’m happy to get it as an add on but I probably wouldn’t purchase it on its own. -
