The COVERGIRL Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara was surprisingly awesome. When I first applied this mascara it went on easy and immediately lengthened my lashes. I’m talking it looked like I had falsies on without feeling like I had falsies on and with just 1 coat! I’ve also worn this mascara alone on days where I don’t feel like doing a full beauty routine and it does a fab job of making me feel pretty all on its own. It lasted all day and felt so light. I also didn’t experience any stinging in my eyes which sometimes happens with other mascaras. Plus it didn’t flake off by the end of day, which is definitely a win because I detest when mascara flakes. The one thing I did notice is not to put more than 2 coats on though. 2 coats will give you dramatic length and great volume without smudging or clumping. However there was one day where I decided to go for 3 coats and this got messy, clumpy and some of my lashes started sticking together. So don’t attempt too many coats and you’ll love it! It’s also a great addition to a clean beauty routine because it’s 100% vegan, cruelty free and formulated without harsh chemicals. Oh and one more bonus is it’s infused with argan and marula oils so it leaves your lashes feeling conditioned. -

The COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Nourishing Skin Milk Foundation is perfect if your looking for a clean beauty routine. It’s 100% vegan and cruelty free. Plus it only contains clean ingredients hence its name clean and fresh. It doesn’t contain any chemicals such as formaldehyde’s, parabens or talc.
It went on very smoothly and didn’t absorb into my brush like some foundations can. A little foundation added up to a lot of coverage so I really feel like a tube of this foundation would last you quite some time. Just be careful, when I first twisted the cap off a ton poured out on me. Not sure if I squeezed too hard or if there was pressure inside the bottle. As I applied this foundation it felt light and nice on my skin. It didn’t feel like I was wearing any foundation which I love. My skin is slowly starting to age and this foundation flowed over my skin perfectly and didn’t put any emphasis on my fine lines. In fact it helped hide my fine lines. Making me think this foundation would be great for all skin ages. Its supposed to blur imperfections and even out skin tones and it did just that for me. I tend to have dry skin and the moisturizing formula helped hydrate my skin and gave it a glowy look. A bonus is that it made my skin feel moisturized without feeling sticky and wet. It lasted all day and I wasn’t in a hurry to wash it off by the end of the day because it was so light I forgot I was wearing make-up. I was also able to build upon this foundation by adding the Clean and Fresh Hydrating Concealer and Pressed Powder. The trio work fabulously together. Overall I was quite impressed. I can wear this foundation alone and it still does a fabulous job of covering imperfections.

The COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Hydrating Concealer worked wonderfully at covering the redness around my nose, darkness under my eyes and a couple blemishes on my chin. It blended nicely over my Clean and Fresh Nourishing Skin Milk foundation. The two work great together. I used my fingers to apply and feel like it might work even better if using a concealer brush, however you wish to apply will work though. Once it dried the concealer was very light and breathable, it looked very natural and I even forgot I had it on. It will also work for everyone of any age. My skin is slowly aging and I found that it didn’t get stuck in my fine lines it helped to reduce them. The hydrating formula is also great for my dry skin. The tube does come with an applicator wand but I never use those on my face I feel like it spreads germs from my face back into the tube. I’ve also used this concealer a few times on it own when I don’t feel like doing a whole face of make-up. I’ve just applied it to cover my problem spots that I mentioned at the start of this review and blended it into my natural skin and this works pretty good. Although using a brush when doing it this way works better than just your fingers alone. Like the other products in the Clean Fresh line it’s 100% vegan, cruelty free and doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals. Making this a perfect tool for a clean beauty routine. -

A neat thing about the COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Healthy Look Pressed Powder is that even the cute little powder puff that comes with it is vegan. The powder is vegan, cruelty free and made with fresh clean ingredients. It’s a talc free powder which is pretty neat. It’s formulated with Aloe Vera and tapioca to absorb oil and control shine. It was a nice finishing product applied over the COVERGIRL Clean & Fresh Foundation and Concealer. When I first opened the compact the powder looked white so I was a little hesitant but then once it was on the puff and my skin the true colour showed. It was long lasting and didn’t dry out my skin like some powders can. Although I did find in some spots it did tend to cake slightly in some of my deeper fine lines. With a few swipes of the puff I fixed it quickly. It’s not often I can find a powder that doesn’t emphasize fine lines and this one doesn’t. It also didn’t emphasize problem spots such as blemishes or redness around my nose. It helped hide these well. It’s great for blurring imperfections as well. Overall I was impressed. I do wish that I didn’t have to store my puff on top of the powder though. I like it when the compact comes with a hidden little spot to store the puff. -

There is no mess to clean up, which I love. It’s hard enough to keep the bathroom clean.
It only blends the greys but looks natural
At first when we saw the colour on the box we were worried that it was too dark, but once it dried after washing it looked just fine. I’d recommend using the colour match tool on the L’Oréal website to ensure you choose the right shade. There are 7 shades to choose from.
This would be a fabulous product for someone on the go looking for a quick solution to those pesky greys.
Downfall can still only use once. One thing both my husband and I are always searching for in a hair dye or touch up dye is one that can be used multiple times. That’s why I’m a huge fan of the L’Oréal Root Magic Cover Up Spray.
From watching my hubby apply it I feel like it would work better on shorter hair and if a man has longer locks I could see the brush possibly snagging in spots and not applying evenly.

As soon as I did one sweep with the mascara wand I could immediately see the difference it made. It definitely made my lashes longer and more defined. I felt like it was the perfect compliment to my makeup routine and really made my eyes standout. The price point is also really good considering it looks like I have lash extensions when I wear it. I did have to get used to the wand, it’s shaped like a Christmas tree and I’m used to using a curved wand. The wand is great though and is designed in this shape to help reach every lash from root to tip. Below you’ll find my pros and cons.
Pros:
-It definitely defined my lashes and if you check out my TikTok video you’ll witness the before and after.
-It definitely made an impact and lengthened my lashes
-I didn’t feel like washing it off all day long I actually forgot I was wearing it.
-It’s lightweight and goes on smooth, there was no tugging through my lashes.
-It lasted all day long and didn’t end up flaking & falling onto my cheeks. (Who else hates clumpy mascara that flakes off?)
-It was easy to remove…however…
Cons:
- I used two coats and found it really made a mess on my face when I first tried taking it off. It will take a little more effort but it’s totally worth it for the lash extension effect.

As soon as I opened the package the gentle scent won me over. It reminded me of my childhood and an aloe Vera plant my mom used to have. It’s a subtle scent that smells fresh and clean. The cream itself has a light weight feel to it and spreads on your skin perfectly. Once on at first it feels like you sprayed your face with a gentle dewy mist. I loved that! It dries quickly and leaves your skin feeling fresh. With the sample I received I was able to use it for 2 days so I feel like a jar of this cream would last a long time. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy nor sticky it feels wonderful. I have a tendency of dry skin around my nose and this cream felt great on it. It didn’t sting or add any irritation. In the winter the skin on the back of my hands also gets dry so I tried it on that skin as well and it helped with my dry skin. I will definitely be adding this cream to my beauty arsenal!
Some fun facts about this cream is it’s vegan, cruelty free, works on all skin types, and is 72 hours of hydration fun!

I’ve been a fan of Maybelline mascara since high school and that’s been a long time. Originally I always used full and soft until it was sadly discontinued. I tried many different brands and in the end came right back to my tried trusted and true maybelline. So I was thrilled when given the opportunity to try Maybelline New York Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara. As I’ve gotten older my lashes have changed, I no longer have long luscious lashes without mascara so I don’t leave the house without it. Let me tell you, I love this mascara for many reasons.
-After using it my lashes still feel light and don’t feel heavy at all. It doesn’t feel like I’m wearing mascara at all, which is perfect because I sometimes have the habit of pulling my mascara off throughout the day if it feels heavy.
-The wand is the perfect shape for separating and lengthening lashes
-It didn’t clump or flake off at all, and surprisingly I didn’t need to dab the end of my wand each time I took my wand out of the tube. This is almost unheard of.
-It lasted all day, love these long lasting mascara’s
-It dramatically lengthened my lashes and didn’t clump my lashes together. I’m definitely going to be switching to this mascara!
