If you know me, you know that I LOVE doing laundry. Seriously. There is something magical about the process of taking something filthy and transforming it into a clean, fresh smelling, beautiful item again.
Immediately upon opening the package, the smell become a conversation piece with my children. "Something smells REALLY good!" They shouted, eager to be the first to call "dibbs" on what was inside.
I have to admit, when I opened the package and found the laundry sheets, I was amused. They are truly fun and flirty and made me giggle. We "oh'd" and "ah'd" at the clever shape and inspected the sheet to determine how they worked.
Here's how the little laundry sheet works it's awesomeness:
The blue part is the detergent and it contains a delicious smelling fabric softener. The white part, with the green strip...that right there is your anti-static dryer softening sheet.
Of course, I had to know if this really worked. I've been sucked into fads too many times. I found two of my husbands work hats. They were gross with dirt. Looked like the perfect "test item".
After taking the picture, I chucked the caps in with a load of laundry.
The Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheet was impressive from the get go. First the fun and flirty look. Now there is no meauring, no pouring, just simple toss it in. I love it already!
When the washer was done washing, I took a picture of the hats. I think it is impressive.
The kiddos kept sneaking into the laundry room to sniff the Purex sheets. When the load came out of the dryer they were eager to help me fold the clothing because, "The smell sooooo good!"
Purex 3-in-1 is hitting shelves this month with a suggested retail price of $6.49...I bought mine at Target for $5.99!!!
I'm switching to this simplified, efficient way because afterall, it's summer and as much as I love doing laundry, the great outdoors call!

I have six kiddos. All of them seem to be on a mission to find germs. We've used the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes for about six months. I absolutely love them! They are a simple way to clean doorknobs, wipe down bunkbeds, wipe counters, cabinets, refrigerator doors, remote controls...I even keep a few in a ziploc baggie in my purse for when we are out and about to: wipe down a bench, a table, a chair, wipe hands, shopping carts and door handles. Since we have been using the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes I notice we have fewer sniffles, fewer colds and are overall "healthier". I was delighted to be selected to try Clorox's Decorative Canister Disinfecting Wipes. The bright orange and yellow canister sitting out on my counters wasn't appealing and the kids aren't big on getting them out from under the sink...the canister is surprisingly attractive. It is subtle and the sage leaves match my home's decor (added bonus). The unique flip and pull, individual sheet dispenser it excellent as it enables even my three year old to do his part to keep our home and his toys disinfected. I think the cost ($5.49, though your cost may vary) is well worth the 60 sheets the canister contains. I give this product a thumbs up for its effectiveness, cost and new design. These sheets are amazing and make clean up easy! -

The Goody Ouchless hair elastics are strong. They don't stretch out. Instead they stay resilient and I can use them over and over. The best part, when my day is done and my hair is ready to just hang, I can pull the Goody Ouchless elastic and not feel my hair being pulled or breaking. I have healthier hair and love the ease of these "reusable" hair elastics. I recommend them to anyone!

Let's start with the application....COMPLICATED and TIME CONSUMING. First, you have to put on the conditioner...I kid you not, it looks and feels like Elmer's School Glue...ick! After that step is complete, you turn the tube over and use the black (or preferred color) to cover the "glue".
My eyelashes clumped. They were longer, granted, but even a heated needle wouldn't separate my lashes! As the day wore on, my eyelashes looked like I had tiny spiders dangling from my lashes. It was a mess.
This product will lengthen your lashes, but it's so not worth the process of application and the "spiders" that come as the day wears on.
Removing it was a longer than usual process as well. It does come off in tubes, but it takes a lot of effort to get them all off.

I want to have beautiful, flawless skin. I've dried an assortment of foundations and have always felt I was needing "more" something. With Mineral makeup being the rage--I mean, seriously, there's infocommercial after infocommercial on Mineral Makeup! I happened to be in Walmart and see the Maybelline Mineral Power Liquid Foundation. I thought, "What the heck?" I'm so glad sometimes I'm spontaneous! I was very impressed at how easily this blended--no streaks. It gave me a finish that held and my skin looked amazing. It didn't cake or feel heavy. It just did what make up should, accentuated my best parts--and let's face it your face is the canvas. I definately recommend this product...it's a great start to your makeup and doesn't cake, melt or feel heavy. -
