I find that it's becoming harder and harder to find a great nail salon in Toronto. Unless of course I've been going to all the wrong places, which I probably have. I found Cozy Nails after reading reviews right here on ChickAdvisor and thought I'd give it a try. Plus they've been mentioned in a few magazines and I thought, "Well they've gotta be good."
Needless to say, I was hooked after my first visit. For $15 you get a fabulous manicure with your choice of tea, smoothie, or water while you get pampered away. They've got a huge selection of colors to choose from by O.P.I and Essie. My manicures and pedicures are always flawless and last long too.The ladies are so nice and the service is really great. My only problem is with the lady at the front desk who takes payments and makes appointments, she's not the friendliest person, but I'm willing to overlook that since you only deal with her for 2 seconds when you walk in and when you pay at the end. Another minor pitfall, is that they are always busy, so if you don't have an appointment you might be in for a long wait. Other than that, it really is a great place.
Cozy nails has become my new favorite nail salon.

After a long and unsuccessful search for an effective moisturizer, I found this one by walking into the Bay. I have combination skin that dries out a lot in the winter and also because of drying acne treatments. I find that most moisturizers that claim to "moisturize" your skin really only add to the build up of oil, or do not keep your skin moisturized for very long. This however, goes on very lightly and really hydrates your skin, which is really nice. It's a bit pricey for a moisturizer, but it does last because you only need a small amount at a time. it's perfect for those dry spots and helps a lot to soften the face.
It also comes it a face spray which is great to toss in your purse and take with you on the go. it works well over or under make-up too.

I use to use this product once or twice a week to exfoliate before being told it was too harsh on my skin by a dermatologist. When I was using it though I didn't have any problems. I mean, it didn't work miracles or anything, but it did help to make my skin feel softer. As far as over-the-counter store brands go, I'd use it. -
