I experienced the “warm tingling sensation” which I would describe as “mild burning.” It was quite hot and mildly uncomfortable but only lasted a few minutes. I didn’t experience this with every use I think it was during the “while your skin adjusts” phase. During that phase I also experienced the flaking and exfoliation, luckily I have my Neutrogena Prep Cleanser to get off all the dead skin exfoliation. (I fell in love with the Prep Cleanser doing a previous review for Neutrogena. Guys, its so affordable ($13 CAD) and SO GOOD!)
So, what about the results? Well, I am fortunate to no require too much anti-ageing progress. After using this cream my skin is fresh and renewed. I was really shocked with the exfoliation, as I had just completed another review that had also caused a pretty intense exfoliation. I wonder if that is why I like this cream so much. I’m not sure if this is because of the timing or if it is the cream. I’ll keep using it and see how my skin evolves, hopefully it is the cream – in which case we will be life long friends.

My cramps feel like my uterus is super swollen, and then has been bandaged too tightly. Similar to if you sprained your ankle and shoved it inside some running shoes. Very compressed and uncomfortable. I have had cramps that were debilitating, typically though they make me lethargic, slow, and uncomfortable for the first 2 days of my cycle.
Enter Motrin Super Strength Liquid Gels. Not even 15 minutes later I’m symptom free! I’m back to my spunky, crafty, doing-all-the-things-all-day-long self. However, 3.5 hours later I am feeling sluggish again. It’s not worn off completely but enough that I’m slow again.
5 hours in I’m checking to see if I can take another one, and I can’t for another hour. I’m sure part of it is that it is late in the day now and I’m also tired. The day has been long and full, and I’m sluggish. I take another one at hour 6 and again am fully ignorant of my discomfort again in about 15 minutes.
I tested the Motrin over two cycles of menstrual cramps and both times I found that they didn’t sustain the full 6-8 hour window that they promise. They are quick acting but not long lasting.
Thanks again, ChickAdvisor and Motrin!

I don't really have any reason but I expected this leave-in to be an oil. It's a cream, which is fine, just not what I expected. I have been using Moroccan Argan Oil because I needed some intense moisture. This is holding up really well. I'm certain that this is also because I'm using the whole line and every step has a good quality moisture element.

The conditioner also smells like a freshly cleaned beach, which is definitely worth noting. I used the conditioner on its own and along with the masque. I definitely like it both ways. It is a light moisturizing; my hair feels clean and also hydrated. Previously, I was using so much extra product to get my hair the moisture it needed that it was getting weighed down. This conditioner is able to keep it both light and moisturized!

The texture of this masque reminds me of slime. Not as thick as slime but it has that "cling to itself" thing that slime does. If you don't have a child under 10, I'm sorry that this comparison will do nothing for you. The masque also smells like a complex dance between a beach vacation and being squeaky clean.
The thing with the masque is that it says to leave it in for 5 minutes so I would recommend taking a bath and bringing along a podcast or a good book. I couldn't stand in the shower waiting for 5 minutes I also wouldn't be able to tell you when 5 minutes have passed in the shower (thank you glasses).
This masque though! It's amazing. I still condition after but I don't think you really need to. It's very moisturizing and leaves my hair very soft. This might also be because during the masque, I was at a VERY intense chapter in a Dean Koontz novel and I left it in for more than 5 minutes.

What is the first thing you do with a haircare product? You smell it, obviously! I have no idea why, but I see other women in the shampoo aisles doing the same; so this will not be the reason you call me crazy. The Joico HydraSplash Hydrating Shampoo smells amazingly fresh and clean but also like a relaxing beach vacation. It has a smooth, easy lather that suds up nicely, really allowing a good scalp massage (my favourite part of washing my hair).
It rinses easily and leaves my hair ready for whatever is next. Since I got the whole line, I did the masque immediately after my shampoo.

I heard someone else say that they use their dry shampoo before it is too late. If you use it prematurely, then it can work as oil is produced and it gives you a better result. I put the Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam in my hair on the morning of day two and, check this out, today is day four (pictured below)!
I think the Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam works great! I am a little heavy in my roots but, like I said, this is day FOUR! I did pull back the top pieces but I totally wore this hair again. On days two and three, I had rockin' hair that looked just like day one!
The scent does say hibiscus root but it is very subtle. I used the cleansing foam after being at a bonfire and it was not able to cover up the smoky campfire smell. Yes, there was a bonfire on February 1 where we roasted apples (if you must know). However, I wouldn't deter from purchasing this Batiste because it couldn't cover my smoky stench. I think it’s a staple, unless you like washing your hair everyday.

When we try new foods at my house we never talk about them being good or bad. I also try to avoid words like “healthy” or saying “it’s good for you.” Instead I try to focus on what the food does for you. For example, I tell her that this Mott’s Fruitsations snack cup has apple and raspberries in it and while they are yummy they are also full of fibre and Vitamin C, which help our bodies grow, develop and fight off germs!
When I asked my 4 year old what it tasted like she responds: “It tastes YUUUUMMM!” Prying further into the mind of a four year old I ask, “Does it taste like any fruit you know?”
“It tastes like cherries,” she says.
She is surprisingly accurate. It has a confusing cherry-ish taste. When you know it is raspberry, that also clicks too. There is a subtle tart taste, but more distinctly raspberry. Both my girls ate their entire cup and were very happy about the snack. The texture is smooth and the flavour is sincere. (I mean it tastes like real food not like a synthetic concoction made in a lab.)
I really appreciate that these are more easily recyclable than the fruit sauce pouches. However, they are less portable for smaller kids (less than 18 months).
The verdict? Would recommend! If given the choice I would prefer to offer these to my kids than pouches. They taste great, are naturally sweet and produce less waste.

I tried the chocolate next which tasted like chocolate milk. This flavour was less unique and, because of that alone, I prefer the caramel, but this was still delicious. I expected the shake to still taste like a protein drink but there is no protein after taste. The flavour is really good. It isn’t masking a protein taste it really is just a great tasting drink. It also only has 1 gram of sugar and isn’t overly sweet.
For complaints, it is also kind of expensive for protein. They come for $2.50 each from Walmart (in a four pack). That might be a good price for the ready to drink but I don’t pay that much per serving of protein. Unless you consider it your multivitamin as well, the cost is a little high.

The packaging is nice, it isn't messy the spout is easy to drink from.
For complaints, both flavours have a lot of ingredients. I am trying to focus more and more on eating whole foods, adding this to my routine would deviate from that. It would however be acceptable (to me) to have occasionally, if I am travelling or in a pinch.
