I was not expecting much from this as it only cost me a dollar at the Dollar Store, but boy, this is the best quality nail polish that I've ever gotten for $1. The formula is very creamy and not streaky at all. One coat was enough to give a nice bright pink sheen to my nails. Two coats, and you get an opaque, electric hot pink. The formula is very fast drying, and the polish lasted for over a week without chipping after I put my Sally Hansen diamond top coat on top. This is a great color that works well with fair skin or tanned skin. I am very impressed by this. -

I got this new product from Breyers in the Dulce de Leche flavor. I love anything with caramel, and this product does not disappoint. I have never been a fan of low fat diary products, as I feel that I can never get that satisfying creamy flavor and texture that only comes from full fat. Well, I am happy to say that this ice cream, even though it has half the fat, does not taste watery and anemic at all. Every spoonful was creamy and satisfying. The product has just the right amount of caramel in in so that I get the sweetness of the caramel without it overwhelming the creaminess of the ice cream.
As a matter of fact, I served it as a dessert at a dinner party at home with friends, and everyone loved it. When I told them that it's half the fat, no one believed me until I showed them the box. Everyone can't get over how creamy and satisfying the ice cream is.
Since it's only half the fat, I can justify eating twice the amount!
I rated the price as great because I found it on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart last week for $3.99. I think the regular price is $6.99 which is comparable to what most other higher end grocery store ice creams are selling for.

I received this product to review a week and a half ago and have been using it consistently in the mornings and at night.
Here are the things that I do like about the product:
-it comes in a sanitary pump bottle.
-one pump of product is enough to cover my entire face.
-the product has a smooth consistency.
-it's natural and organic.
-it leaves my skin feeling quite soft and smooth after application.
Here are the things that prevented me from giving this product a 5 stars rating overall:
-it has a strange scent that is quite strong upon application and takes a while to decipitate.
-it doesn't moisturize that well. still need to put a layer of my regular moisturizer on top for the dry spots.
-it doesn't smooth anything out like the name suggests. my lines and pores are still visible.
-due to the oils in the product, it can leave a greasy shine as the day goes on.
Overall, I don' t think that this is a bad product at all. I don't mind the scent, but I can see someone who has a strong sensitivity to fragrances having issues with it. I do think that as serums go, it is a pretty good quality product and the price point is competitive with other niche brands' serums. I don't think though that it is an essential product to have if someone is already using a moisturizer that works for her.
On the box, it says that the product "softens, revitalizes and improves skin suppleness". Definitely, after immediate application, my skin does feel soft, but I haven't noticed any change in my skin's suppleness in the 1.5 weeks that I have been using it. Perhaps, I need to continue to use it longer in order to see any changes.
I will continue to use this until it is finished and come back to edit this review if I do notice some changes.

I gave this an amazing rating for effectiveness not because it does well what it is originally intended for which is to apply powder with. It's just too dense for the job. This is FANTASTIC though for applying liquid foundation. I am not a fan of the heavy, mask like effect that Revlon CS can give, but when applied with this brush, it gives a soft, smooth, natural effect. I stipple the foundation on and buff with the same brush. If I want a heavier coverage, I just repeat the process again. The brush is so soft, and when washed, does not shed, and dries very quickly. -

I gave this a high rating for effectiveness not because it works well at the job that I originally intended it to do which was to cover my undereye circles. Used as a concealer for those dark circles, I find that the shade that I bought, beige, is too orangey for my skintone and didn't do a very good job of concealing the darkness underneath my eyes. What this concealer does do an excellent job of is as an eyeshadow primer. Not only does it help camouflage the redness on my lids, my shadows go on brighter and stay crease free for an entire day. The formula is very silky and easy to blend. I would buy this again just to use as an eyeshadow primer. At $4.99 for 3g of product, it's a way better deal than some of the other popular eye shadow primers that are out there, and in my opinion, performs better as it provides a very smooth base for an easy blending of eyeshadows. -

I have always avoided liquid foundations due to how mask like they look and feel, and I don't like the product rubbing off on my collars. This foundation is none of the above. It feels light on, with a sheer, buildable coverage, and once on, it stays on your skin, not on your clothes. I am NC25, with strong olive undertones, and "Sand Beige" is the closest match for me, but it's still a bit too pinkish. The product does have a very strong scent when you first apply it, but that disappears once the foundation dries. You do need to blend quickly as the formula dries very fast, and you'll need a good oil cleanser to get it completely off your skin. For days when I don't want the matte look that the foundation provides, I sheer it out by mixing in some Olay Definity serum into the product. What I am most impressed by is that I don't have to powder my oily T-zone area at all throughout the day when I use this foundation. The big heavy glass bottle and wide opening is bit awkward to work with, but not impossible. -

I am quite disappointed with this new line of products from Vaseline. I have it in the Vitamin formula, and although the scent is actually quite nice, it's a bit strong and tends to compete with my perfume. The formula itself is quite runny and didn't moisturize as well as I had hoped. I find that the moisturizing effect only lasts for a couple of hours. This is a lotion that would be best used during the hot summer months, but not when you need a lot of moisturizing during the winter. It retails for $9.99 CAD here for a small 200ml bottle. That, in my opinion, is too much money to pay for something that only provides mediocre results. I recommend staying with Vaseline's original formula lotions. They are half the price for twice the size, and do a great job of moisturizing my skin. -

I was very lucky to receive this new product from Garnier as part of the Chickadvisor review panel. So far, my sensitive dry skin has adapted well to this gel cleanser.
I was hesitant at first to use a gel foamy cleanser for my skin as it tends to get quite "tight" feeling if I use anything that could possible strip my already dry skin. I am happy to say that this cleanser leaves me feeling clean, but not stripped of moisture.
The cleanser comes with an attached brush head that does the double duty of creating the foamy action and exfoliation. I advise first wetting the head thoroughly with water to soften those plastic bristles up. Then you only need to squeeze a pea sized amount of the cleanser into the brush head, and use small, circular motions to gently "scrub" your wet face free of makeup and dirt. The cleanser does a fairly good job of getting rid of most traces of my makeup. I would NOT recommend using this cleanser for your eye makeup, as it stung a bit when some accidentally got into my eyes. If you use waterproof makeup or sunscreen, I would recommend using an oil cleanser first and then using the Skin Renew cleanser to get rid of the oil residues.
The big plus for me with this Garnier cleanser is that it cleanses and exfoliates in one step. My face felt clean and had a nice glow after. The cleanser has a faint, but pleasant smell, and it rinses off quite easily.
L'Oreal was also very thoughtful and included the Skin Renew Radiance Moisture Cream in the review package. This is the perfect complement to the cleanser. I put the cream on after I had patted my face dry, and my skin is still slightly moist. The cream is enriched with caffeine, lycopene, and Vitamin C. It absorbed well into my skin, and did not leave it feeling greasy at all while keeping my skin moisturized.
Like the cleanser, the cream has a faint, but pleasant smell.
I will continue to use these two products in conjunction to see what the long term results are for my skin. So far, I am very impressed, and have already allowed my sister to try the cleanser out, and she, too, is very impressed and now wants one for herself.
This is a product that I would definitely recommend to others.

This handy concealer comes in a pen style with a dispensing brush at the end. It's great for travel when I don't want to bring along a concealer and a concealer brush. It's also great for touch-ups throughout the day although you really don't need to since the formula is so long lasting. I have it in Shade 002 which is a good match for my NC25 skin. I use this for both my under eye circles and the odd blemish, and it performs well either way. The formula is very creamy and easy to blend, and once dusted over with translucent powder, it lasts and does not settle into any fine lines. I paid $9.99 CAD for 1.18ml, so it is a bit more expensive than other drugstore concealers, but not overly so. One tip: You only need to give the cap one twist to get enough product to cover the under eye area. Don't twist too many times, or a lot of the product will come out and make a goopy mess. -

I was able to find these on sale for $3 each, and I had $2 off coupons to apply to them, so they were a great price for me. Overall, the quality of Annabelle products are very good for the price that you pay. The texture of the kohl liners seem to depend on the color that you get. Some are definitely softer than others. Overall though, they do give a nice color payoff, and the color selection is very good. One thing that I have noticed though is that unless the color is set with powder, it seems to fade throughout the day. -
