I was given the opportunity to try out the Aveeno Positively Radiant MaxGlow No-Mess Sleep Mask for free by Chickadvisor in exchange for my honest review. One thing I really love about this mask is the applicator. I had never used a face mask with an applicator like this so this was a new experience, but I love it!! It stands up to its name - the mask goes on easily without making a mess. This was also my first time using an overnight face mask, so I was really excited! I noticed that the mask dried up within minutes of applying it (so you don't need to worry about messy pillows). In the morning, I washed my face and I noticed that my face felt smooth, even, and hydrated! The smell is nice too (not too strong for those who are sensitive). I would definitely recommend this product!! -

I was given the opportunity to try out the Aveeno Positively Radiant MaxGlow Infusion Drops for free by Chickadvisor in exchange for my honest review. I'm really glad I was chosen for this campaign because this product definitely made my skin look and feel better. My skin had become really dull and dry because of the ever-lasting winter. I massaged 2-3 drops on my face every night after cleansing it. After that, I applied my usual moisturizer. I woke up every morning with a smooth, even, and glowing face! The smell is really nice too - not to strong for those who are sensitive! I definitely recommend this product!! -

I bought this product from Walmart about 6 months ago thinking “YES! Finally something that can help remove my blemishes at an affordable price of $5!” The back of the bottle states to use this product twice daily for best results. Although I did hear a lot of people say this product was AMAZING and it really helped clear out their skin, I decided to use it twice a week instead because I wasn’t sure if the product would work for me.

The product worked really well for me for the first 1-2 weeks. It removed all of my dead skin and left my face feeling smooth! It has a nice apricot scent too! I was quiet impressed by the product! However, with repeated use I found that I was actually breaking out more than I did previously. I didn’t immediately think it could have been this apricot scrub since it claimed to contain oil-free salicylic acid acne medication, which should help treat my acne, not give me more. Since it was the only new product I had included into my skincare, I decided to stop using it for a few weeks and see the results. I found that after a few weeks of not using this product, I stopped breaking out. Just to be sure, I included the product back into my skincare routine for a week, and found that I was breaking out again!
After doing a bit of research on the ingredients, I found out that this product contains Juglans Regia (also known as walnut shell powder), which actually causes microscopic tears in the epidermis (top layer of the skin). Because the top barrier of your skin is damaged, it is very easy for bacteria to enter through the tears and affect the deeper layers of your skin. Also, because the bacteria is now entering your skin, it will stimulate an inflammatory response by your body, causing white blood cells to accumulate at the site to fight the bacteria. This will consequently result in the formation of pus, which we see as pimples and acne, and it will clog your pores.
All in all, I HIGHLY recommend people to NOT buy this product as it will damage your skin!! Although it is inexpensive and tempting to buy because of all of its claims, I found this product to NOT do what it claimed it would. Instead, it did the opposite. Please don’t cheap out on your skin and get something that actually helps!

I was able to get my hands on this Nefli woven scarf that has a geometric print on it in the color “Autumn”! I REALLY love this scarf! It’s very soft and very warm, which is a must for Canadian weather! I would also like to thank the employees at Soia & Kyo for helping me pick out this scarf! They were super nice and helpful! The store itself had a very welcoming ambience! I will definitely be shopping at Soia & Kyo again! -

I really liked this store! I got the opportunity to check out this store because I was selected to receive a $100 voucher to spend at this store. Soia $ Kyo at Square One was really neat and tidy. Everything was well organized and easy to find! One thing I really loved about this store was its customer service. Employees were extremely polite and came up to me several times to ask if I was finding everything okay and if I needed help with anything. Another thing I loved about Soia & Kyo in Square One was its inviting atmosphere. The ambience of the store makes you want to check it out when you are passing by. The store also has a sitting area for individuals that are waiting on their wives (usually), which is very thoughtful. One thing I found unusual, and loved, about this store was the fact that they walk around the counter to hand you your bag (which is different from the usual 'passing the bag over the counter'). All-in-all, I found this store to be very welcoming and considerate of its customers! Although the merchandise was very expensive, the quality of it was very good, so it is worth it!! Would definitely shop here again!! -

As someone who loves the tropics, I was super excited to try this tea out! This tea tasted like a combination of pineapples, green tea, and mango, all of which I love! The pineapple and mango flavours weren't overpowering, so they didn't take away from the flavour of the actual green tea.
As an individual who loves the outdoors and is always taking walks outside, I'm sure my body has built up a lot of free radicals. Without getting too scientific, free radicals are molecules with an extra electron that disrupt the function of our cells, causing us to look older than we actually are (through wrinkles). Antioxidants help to eliminate free radicals. Drinking tea that is high in antioxidant really helps reduce the level of free radicals in our body, which is good if you are trying to avoid wrinkles!
Overall, I would definitely recommend this tea too others!

I was really excited to try out this tea because I love fruity teas! This tea tasted like a combination of green tea and strawberries. It wasn't too sweet for me, so I did add a little bit of sugar to it.
Initially I tried this tea hot, but I liked it more cold.
I would definitely buy this tea again!

I honestly could not have received this tea at a better time. I had been sick in bed for about a week before I received this tea along with two others in the mail. This tea worked really well at helping me feel better and boosting my immune system! I started feeling better within a few days!
This tea tasted like a combination of ginger and lemon. I'm not fond of citrus flavours so I worried about how this tea would taste, but it was not bad at all! I didn't even have to add any honey or sugar to it. The tea has a nice soothing aroma as well.
Overall, I would recommend this tea to those that are feeling sick, and to those who love the taste of lemon and ginger!

My skin felt soft for the entire day! I love that this cream is fast absorbing (it won't come off after rubbing on your clothes. I also love the thick texture of this cream. I now use this cream twice a day (after a shower and before going to bed). I will definitely recommend it others!! -

I received the Nivea MicellAIR Water to try for free by Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. This product claims to remove all the makeup, dirt, and oil from your face and leave your face leaving clean and refreshed. After using this micellAIR water for a few weeks, I found it to be quite effective in removing the makeup and dirt off of my face. I was able to remove my face, lip, and eye makeup with this product! For application, I placed a little bit of this solution on a round cotton pad and then directly applied that onto my face in a wiping motion to remove all the dirt. Will definitely buy again! -
