These are new and come in so many pretty colors that I'm wishing I had bought a few more! I started with Iconic Ivory, Twinkle Teal and Black Bandit.
Unilke some eyeliners that get hard and dry and thus hard to apply, this is super smooth and creamy, and glides on. It's almost too soft, so you need to keep a light hand with application. There is a little bit of glitter in it, but it isn't overhwlming- I would say the swatch pictures from the website are actually pretty accurate. The teal they show matches the color I got well, so I would guess the other colors of this liner might be true to color as well. Yay!
he sharpener built into the lid is pretty snazzy, but I did run into a small problem with it- I tend to stick the cap on the other end of the pencil when I'm using this, but doing this makes the sharpener dig in to that end, leaving little cuts.
The ivory doesn't have a ton of pigment, but it does brighten the eye a little and if you scribble a little on your browbone it makes a nice highlight. I tried it on my water line, but it wouldn't go on at all.
The teal is perfection. It's a gorgeous color, perfect if you want to play with bright colors without having a ton on. It's beautiful when paired with the pale green from the Ivy eyeshadow quad!

think the pictures on the site depict them as way more matte than they are. There are some matte colors in other quads, but not this one- these all have shimmer. (I did get some glitter fallout below my eyes when I applied these, so you may want to save your under-eye concealer or foundation till after applying this so you can clean up the glitter first!) I like these colors for a basic neutral look. The coppery brown color is especially pretty!
The darker colors are my favorite part of this quad. I don't think I'll use the lighter ones much- the lightest isn't pigmented enough for me, and I really prefer a whiter highlight color. On the positive side, I think these are colors that pretty much anyone could wear.
Would I buy this quad again? Possibly, the lighter brown alone is worth the dollar. I would probably get a lot of use out of this if I still worked for Disney and could only wear neutral colors. Plus, they're effortless to put together. Thumbs-up for this quad!

I am a firm believer that no matter what your makeup style is and no matter what other products make up your makeup collection, everyone needs a matte white eyeshadow and a black shadow. E.l.f. offers the drama eyeshadow quad for $1, which is about as cheap as you can get! The quality doesn't compare with high-end brands, but it does work well enough to use, and is actually a lot better than many brands you would pay $6 or $7 for at a drugstore.
One huge note of praise I have for this quad is that the white is matte- no sparkle or shimmer at all. The silver and dark grey are so glittery that if the white had been sparkly, too, it wouldn't have worked as well. You need something matte in there to balance it out. The black also has a little bit of sparkle, but it isn't glittery like the silver and grey, so you really can use these colors together in harmony. LOVE that!
I would totally recommend this quad! I don't do a black/silver smoky eye often, but you can use the black and white with SO many other looks, it's totally worth the $1!

This is possibly my favorite eye makeup product of all time! The kit sells for $32 and includes Benefit's Boing concealer, three shadow colors, a small concealer brush and a dual-ended eye brush. The price is a little more than I can generally afford to spend on one item, but what you get is so worth it! The concealer provides fantastic coverage, I love it for under my eyes. The shadows are such pretty colors- I like the pink on my lid applied wet, the medium brown in the crease, and the dark brown I use on my brows with the flat end of the brush, or occasionally as an eye liner or crease color if I want some drama.
Although this is a small compact, the product lasts quite a long time! The compact's design is great- it is small enough to tuck into even the smallest handbag, has a magnetic closure to keep it from popping open, and has a generous sized mirror for touch-ups on the go. Also included is a little sheet of instructions for how to apply the shadows, in case you need some tips. I have already gone through two of these, and am planning to get a third soon!
The only negative I can think of is that the concealer shade probably wouldn't match every skin type. I'm quite pale, but it matches my skin well even though it is a medium beige shade. I would guess that it would match a lot of skin tones well, but not everyone.
