** I have this product in the brown eyes color- which comes with a black end and a purple end. I would say this mascara is an average mascara, the formula is very basic- nothing to be too excited about. Its a typical mascara with a typical brush that gives you some volume and length, but does not generate any "oOos or aaAhs" for me. The thing that is unique about this mascara is that it has a colored part. I like to layer the purple over the black on my lashes, so it looks more subtle. As you can see in my picture, its pretty subtle and more noticeable when you look closely or in the light, which can be nice because I don't really want bright purple lashes and its like kind of a nice little surprise since you only notice the purple in the light/ close up. I doubt that this mascara would be any one's HG everyday mascara, but its something fun to have when you want to spice up your mascara color :) Hope this helps!

The E.L.F beauty encyclopedia basic eye edition is definitely one of my go-to everyday palette! I really love all the neutral colors in here they are all really pretty and wearable. I always like browns from cool toned to warm toned and plums because I think those suit my eye color and skin tone the most. The Basic eye edition has exactly these: browns from warm to cool (both medium- dark shades) and it also has pinks, and plums/purples. I think those colors are just perfect for making my desired wearable everyday looks, though I don't wear eyeshadow everyday, I reach for this a lot when I do decide to wear some eyeshadow. This palette isn't my favorite palette since I have so many, but its my favorite Portable palette. Since this palette is pretty light weight, and not too big (its medium sized) in my opinion, I always take this with me when I travel back home for the weekends. The shadows are mostly shimmery, but there is a couple matte colors, but I love shimmery shadows anyway so I don't mind all the shimmer :) It also has 2 creme shadows, pink and creme, a eyeliner and a small eyeshadow brush. The eyeshadow brush included is a little scratchy so I just use my own brushes. The creme shadows are a bit oily so I just like using a little bit on my lids, but I do enjoy it because my eyelids are a bit dry in the morning, so the creme shadow helps the shadow adhere to my eye better. If you guys love brown, pinks, and purples as your neutral colors, I'd totally recommend this palette!! I really like it a lot! But if you like more cool toned colors such as blue, gray and black( I feel like these colors aren't very neutral or wearable anyways, but thats just me :P ), this palette is not for you. For $5 I think this little palette is definitely worth the price- you can try to find it at target so that you don't have to pay the $6.95 shipping on the elf website. Hope this helps, thanks for reading!

I was really interested in ELF's beauty encyclopedia eye editions because they were only $5 and had a lot of shades. I especially love the sparkle eye edition because it is a GREAT dupe for Urban Decay's Ammo Palette (which costs around $35). Don't get me wrong guys, I love my urban decay, but for those who can't dish out so much for eyeshadow (or just don't want to!) why not get the E.L.F. one instead- its such a bargain. The E.L.F palette has 12 eyeshadows, 2 creme shadows, 1 eyeliner and 1 small eyebrush. I was really amazed at how the colors were basically identical- ELF definitely had the Ammo palette in mind when creating this palette. Its super pigmented and the eyeshadows you get are pretty darn huge- I love the size. My only complaint is the white shadow on the first row, left corner- its really powdering and shimmery- more shadow falls off your eye onto your cheeks then actually going on your eyelid. But other than that one color, I love this palette!! Also, for those who don't like shimmery eyeshadows, this ones not for you, after all it is called the Sparkle eye edition for a reason :) Hope this helps and thanks for reading!!

I recently bought E.L.F's 32 pc eyeshadow palette because for $5 you get 32 eyeshadows, and that is pretty darn tempting! I always buy from E.L.F. anyways, so I waited until there was a coupon code I wanted to use to buy this palette, and tons of other things as well - I just hate the shipping cost though.... :) Okay, so lets move on to the actual product. I think that for $5, this palette is worth it, because you get a lot of eyeshadows. The eye shadows are nice and pigmented, ranging from shimmer, satin, glittery, to matte finishes so you get a combination of finishes and colors in here. However, I felt that a lot of the colors were kind of boring or just did not suit my tastes. Call me picky, I know I have a lot of palettes, but I really wanted to love this one. I love the size of the palette, its definitely portable, which I need because I travel quite a lot. But I felt that some colors were very boring and some were wayy too similar to each other. For example, the browns in a palette are the most important part to me, why? because they are my "everyday" colors and colors that I wear the most. I wanted to see atleast a shimmering taupe color, maybe a more cool toned brown, how about a deep plum color?- more neutrals please! The browns were mostly warm toned, like coppery tones...they definitely lacked more cool toned browns. They threw in some bright colors like blue and purple which is nice and fun. In my opinion too many greys, I mean, some even looked the same-except that one way matte, and one was shimmer. Though I think this palette is great for beginners and those who are starting out- I really think it is lacking some shades. For $5 its worth a try, but it just didn't work too well for me due to the shades. I would recommend probably looking into their Beauty Encyclopedias instead. Thanks for reading, and hope this helps!

I decided to pick up some glitter liners from N.Y.X. after hearing all the good reviews about it online, so I wanted to try it out for myself. I pick up a hot pink, a purple, and a black. They are all really gorgeous and have a unique blend of glitters in it which I really like. Also, since they all have a unique sheen/ combination of glitters in it, each one looks different- aren't we tired of seeing all those glitter liners that look the same? I like the convenience of having a liner because you can just swipe it on - I like to put it on my lower lash line to really make my eyes pop, and look bigger and more awake. You can also put it all over your eyelid to have a more dramatic effect. I definitely recommend this for special occasions, like prom, new years, a night out, etc. You can find these at Ulta, or on N.Y.X cosmetic's website, or cherry culture.com, theres lots of places, just google it :) They're usually around $3-$4 so its pretty affordable. Thanks for reading and enjoy, hope this helps some people out!
