Upon trying Zarbee's Baby Soothing Cough Syrup for my little one, it became clear that it's essentially like giving a small spoon of honey, with its single medicinal ingredient. While honey has its benefits, this syrup seems just a notch above the natural honey we have in our kitchen, diluted with some water and added peach flavor.
The taste, expected to be sweet, actually turned out quite sour, which wasn't much to my baby's liking, possibly due to the citric acid in the mix. On the plus side, the included syringe was a practical tool for ensuring proper dosing without making a mess.
It's comforting to know the product is natural, staying true to Zarbee's ethos with just honey and no other active medicinal ingredients. However, when it came to effectiveness, I didn't notice any significant change after several doses.
Remember, it's not suitable for kids under one due to honey, and even with older babies, it's good to be cautious considering potential allergies.
For those looking for a mild, natural option, this might do the trick for very light symptoms. But if your child's condition seems more severe, it might be wise to look for other remedies or consult a healthcare provider.

Excellent immunity support for kids! It's Canadian, it has good ingredients and appropriate doses of each. I do wish the flavour was natural though, as this is advertised as being a natural/hollistic product.
My kid loves the taste and texture and has started taking it daily without me telling them. Just be careful if your kid is not old enough for that so they don't take too much. It does have a child-proof cap, but an 8 year old opened ot easily.
I'm glad there's vitamin D in there, along with elderberry and zinc. Winter is coming and the days are short, it's essential to have enough vitamin D for a healthy body and mind.
I'll be giving this to my child throughout the winter and I'm sure we'll see the effects, as I have tried this combination of supplements before!
Liked by kids in terms of taste and texture.
Easy to administer for kids.
Reasonably priced.
