So my 3 kiddos are not wild and destructive, but we still made sure to buy the foam protected cases and give them these amazon fires for Christmas. Within 2 weeks, my daughter dropped hers and shattered the screen. A few days later my son dropped his, on carpet, and it shattered. I was shocked, they are small kids, but 7&9;.. so these weren’t far drops and weren’t on hard surface. I was offered a replacement but I refused and got my cash back. -
