I’ve been testing it out for a week now, and I noticed my skin is much more even especially with my hyper pigmentation. At first, I thought it felt greasy, but the nights afterwards I felt like my skin got used to it. Heads up, it does come with a little tacky finish, but nothing to stress out about. It works well with my over night cream. -

Just kidding, that was totally me today when the weekend went too fast and paid for it on Monday. Good thing I got the @philips Facial hair removal Mini Rasoir Visage to try for my honest opinion. Overall, I think this is the best invention ever! Here’s why:
- Small and compact device, this’ll fit in my fanny pack
- Built in mirror so you don’t have to use your phone for that quick shave
- Built in LED light in case you want to shave in the dark (not recommending this)
- Gentle removal so no stripping your makeup
I’m thinking I’ll leave this in my book bag so Ill never be self conscious of my ‘stache 😅. Now for my nails… I need help!

@clarinscanada via @thisisbutterly sent over their #doubleserum for me to try in exchange for my honest opinion. I’ve been using this with my nighttime routine this past week and noticed the following:
- I woke up with bouncier skin
- my skin was smoother and raised up my pores
- My skin tone was brighter and more even
- Plus, the sample packaging is so smart! It breaks in the middle rather than ripping the corner of a package which is hard to do with skincare on your hands.
I enjoyed this so much that I will pick up a full size during the Black Friday sales. It’s retail price is $138 CAD for a 50ml bottle 😨 so it’s not cheap!
Have you tried anything from Clarins? I’m hearing so much about their lip oils. I’d be interested in trying that too!

I didn’t feel my skin absorbed it too well and I did need two pumps to cover my whole face and neck. l was able to use this every night though instructions recommend to use every other night. In the mornings, my skin felt moisturizer and over the week, i did notice my skin evening out! -

This is a perfect everyday foundation. It’s light to medium coverage, and can be buildable to full! I like to see some of my freckles show through so I’ve been light handed. It wears amazing under cream blushes and highlighters. I love it!!

I think this pencil has the right pigment for those natural brows. It’s a thin enough pencil where you can draw hairs but thick enough go fill in those sparse patches. It’s soo reasonable and very comparable to ABH!

I’m amazed how quickly this product dissolves!! It goes great with anything, including water! I like to take it with my coffee in the morning as part of my morning ritual. 100% recommend!

Thanks to @thisisbutterly, I got to try @degree Advanced 72H Motionsense Dry Spray deodorant. In exchange, I’m to try it for 5 days and publish my thoughts. I noticed the following:
- it does what I expect an antiperspirant does… no sweat all day. - “Shower clean” was sent, so I smelled nice but frankly I prefer something a little more floral. My perfume did not mix well with it
- The application had a white cast but it did disappear during the day.
Overall, I’m really impressed!! I really didn’t sweat through my shirt, which would be handy during this summer. Swipe right to see my grey-shirt test after a 20 min. peloton ride! I will definitely repurchase this in a different scent!
