A great alternative to the beauty blender. I love the extra contours that the BB doesn't have. My only gripe is that it soaks up a lot of product compared to other comparable applicators. As a result it is harder to clean.

I love love love these brushes. I use the buffing brush from the core set with every foundation and I have and it always gives a beautiful finish. The foundation brush from the same set is too small for applying foundation but its great for the under eye and the concealer rush is so tiny it can be used for any small job from concealer to a smoky eyeliner.
I love the blush brush too, but not for blush (I don't wear much and when I do I prefer a more precise brush). Its big and fluffy for I use it for setting power and bronzing along my hairline and neck.
The only dud I've found is the silicone eyeliner 'brush'. It doesn't hold enough product to cleanly apply a line across the eye and no matter which product I use I end up with a streaky mess.
The brushes are of a very high quality and well worth the price. I've never experienced any shedding, warping or loosening of the ferule even after dozens of washes which is more than I can say for many of the high end brushes I've tried. The fibres are soft and easy to clean with no staining that I've noticed.

This is one of two drugstore brands that actually have a shade pale enough for me, so major points for that. The formula is very liquid, not creamy, so it feels very hydrating. You may probably won't like this is you have oily skin. But for my super dry face, I like it a lot. The coverage is very buildable, anywhere from light-medium with a single layer applied with a damp beauty blender, to full coverage with two layers applied with a brush.
It does need a good primer and setting power if you wantto get more than a few hours wear. I haven't noticed any oxygenation even after a full days wear. No break outs or skin irritation either. It's kind of pricey for a drugstore brand (nearly $20 in my area), but if you have a hard to match skintone, this is your best bet.

This is a bit of a meh mascara for me. There is nothing really wrong with it, it just didn't wow me. It did an okay job of lengthening and volumizing my lashes but I always had flakes on my lower lashes by the end of the day too. It needed to do more rubbing than I like to remove it at the end of the day even with oil based remover. I can see why others really like this mascara but it isn't for me. -

I am obsessed with this mascara! I am on my third tube and know I'm going to buy a few more. The brush takes a little getting use to since you have to master twirling it during application but once you get the knack of it, it really delivers! The formula is quite wet, which get the mascara fully around each hair. I get dramatic, defined lashes with one coat. Crazy thick, defined and lengthened lashes with two coats. Once it dries, it holds a curl pretty well too. No flaking or smudges at the end of the day and easy to remove without pulling or tugging. I don't usually need any remover or oil, just my makeup eraser. -

The purple quilted tube is adorable and the brush it easy to use, no excess gets transferred to my eyelid with this brush. I find the formula a little dry, but it works so I can't complain. I wish it wasn't so expensive though (~$25)

This is my favourite mascara from Benefit. I got crazy amounts of volume and no clumping. It is pricey so I don't buy it often but I thoroughly enjoy it when I do. If you like thick, black lashes, then you;ll probably like this mascara.

Not a bad mascara but not a great one either. I had high expectations of this mascara given the hype and the marketing but I didn't find it any better than drug store brands. It did separate my lashes quite well but I didn't get a lot of volume or lengthening after 2 coats. If I were in to super natural looking lashes I might like this but I want my mascara to perform a magic trick on my lashes if its going to cost me $25. -

Reactine is a lifesaver, literally! MY allergist has be take reactine for several days after I've been exposed to one of my life threatening allergens. I also take it for most of May and June when my seasonal allergies are crazy. They are expensive per pill in the blister packs, but if you are a particularly allergenic person like me or have a family with allergies, then it is worth the investment to get the big bottles. The cost per pill is much lower than the blister packs. -
