I was lucky enough to receive the Vileda Promist Max Spray mop for free from Family Rated and although I wasn't sure what to expect at first, I was quickly sold on the product. I have a big dog at home who tracks in a lot of dirt as he comes in and out of our home and a hubby who is more than a little messy so I always have a swiffer wetmop in my kitchen ready to go which I've used for years. That said, I wasn't sure what I'd think about the Vileda as I've never used another spray mop before but it is actually incredible!
The mop cleans so well, I'm very impressed with the quality of the mop pad it really gets out puppy paw marks and kitchen spills without needing to scrub or pass over multiple times. The mop glides effortlessly and there is a nice cushion grip on the shaft of the mop to hold while you use it. The handle has a trigger that is very easy to use to release the spray mixture which comes out right above the mop pad. I also love the fact that you can pour your own cleaning mixture into the mop and be able to control the scent and quantity of cleaner used. The best part of it all is that the pad is machine washable so it means that it can be re-used multiple times which results in less waste and more money saved in the long run!
All in all, this is an incredibly versatile cleaning product which I've now fallen in love with and will definitely be my new go-to!

I love Gin, in fact it is quite likely my favourite spirit so I am probably a little more picky then most with my review. Though Bombay Sapphire is by no means horrible, it just doesn't do it for me. The taste is strong and lacking notes and flavours of a finer gin and although it is not marketed as a haute-gamme product, there are much better options in it's product class. Price to quality ratio just doesn't do it for me as there are much better options for the same price. Stick to it for mixed drinks only and don't go out of your way for it. -

Though not the best Gin on the market, Tanqueray really stands out in is class for price vs. quality. As a mixer, Tanqueray is a fantastic option that tastes cool, crisp and delicious without breaking the bank. I wouldn't personally have Tanqueray alone without adding a mixer (i.e. sip it on it's own) as I am not overly crazy about the taste and I would much rather splurge on a bottle of Hendricks for that purpose but I would definitely (and have in the past) recommend it to others and always have a bottle in my own home! -

Let me start by disclosing that I was one of the lucky ones to get this product for free via ChickAdvisor (Thank you!!).
I was very excited to receive these bars as I am always looking for a good on the go snack. Working a full-time job, taking care of a house, dog and hubby doesn't leave me with very much time to prepare snacks at home, especially before hitting the gym so products like this are a life save. Full disclosure - I've never tried these bares before so I didn't know what to expect but this is a delicious bar, I was so excited to see it is nothing like other protein bars I've had that were very chalky and bland. This bar is delightfully crunchy with mouthfuls of peanuts and a bit of chewiness from the caramel plus a coat of dark chocolate on the bottom which makes it sweet, but not overly so.--
All in all, it's a really great alternative for a busy gal like myself and I would definitely buy a box in the future to keep on hand!

I recently got to try the Powerbar Plant Protein Almon, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate bar for free via ChickAdvisor (Iucky me)! I am a very active girl, I work out 6-7 days a week and am relatively careful about what I eat but I also lead a very demanding life and am always looking for convenient, healthy options - especially when it comes to pre-workout snacks.
That said, I've experimented heavily with nearly every protein bar under the sun and have struggled to find one that isn't disgusting or chalky but is still healthy. The chocolate drizzle paired with the crunchy nuts and touch of sea salt make for a wonderful medley of tastes and flavours which are virtually unheard of for a "healthy" protein bar; something I truly enjoyed.
That is the main pro when it comes to these bars, they taste delicious! When it comes to nutritional value, I will be a little harsher with my review. PowerBar Plant Protein Bars are high in protein, but they are also high in fat; fortunately, much of this fat is from the nut content in the bars as opposed to saturated or trans (bad) fats. That said though, the sugar content is a little bit too high to indulge in every day and it lacks the added vitamins and minerals like others in its category.
All in all, I very much enjoyed the bars as a treat that I would probably have once a week or so for a good (and yummy) energy boost when I'm on the go but in moderation!

Having never tried Head & Shoulders before, I was excited to give it a shot, especially since it was free! The biggest pro about this product is the smell, it's not your typical idea of what Head & Shoulders should smell like. It's light and has got a great but not overbearing nor medical smell. It also left my hair soft and my scalp feeling good (no itch). Overall, I have to say that it's a great product (especially considering it's price). The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 is just that it doesn't offer your hair much volume compared to some other brands of shampoo. I will continue to use this brand though in the future, especially when my hair needs some moisture therapy. -

I have never really been a fan of Head & Shoulders as I was thrown off by it's perception of being a "dad shampoo." I have to say that after trying both the shampoo and the conditioner, I like the shampoo much more. That's not to say that the conditioner isn't good, it is but I've tried better. I find that the scent is great but overall it leaves my hair a little limp and heavy. I'll continue using the bottle since it was free but I don't think I'd buy it again unless it was on sale. -

I received this product for free from a friend, so I'll try and make this review as objective as possible. Did I like the product? yes. Was that mainly because it was free? Most likely.
Pros: The shampoo smells great, leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated all without being weighed down. My hair felt healthy and I kept running my fingers though it all day! The effects continued throughout the last two weeks of usage. I really enjoyed the shampoo.
Cons: Although I enjoyed the scent, the smell is very, very strong and I can get why some people would find it to be somewhat overpowering, so be weary! Secondly, as mentioned earlier I got the product for free and therefore saw it's value. I cannot however justify spending $12 on this bottle of shampoo, it's a tad overpriced for a drugstore brand. I'll continue using and loving the product while it lasts, and if it goes on sale I'll probably pick it up, if not I'll stick to my standard brand.

This is a product that I had never tried, nor heard of before. I was very excited to try out this conditioner for the first time when I got it and have been using it regularly for the last month. I can say that the product is great and the price is quite reasonable. The conditioner leaves my hair soft and moisturized without feeling greasy or weighed down. Overall, the product is really great and I would buy it again. The only con I'd have with the product is the scent. Though I really enjoy it, it's still pretty strong and I can see why some people wouldn't like it. That being said, buyer beware - take a sniff of the conditioner before you commit! -

I recently purchased the Covergirl Plumply Mascara on Amazon and was very excited to try it. I typically buy Maybeline mascara but am not overly attached to it so I feel that I was still able to give a very objective review. After using the product for the last few weeks, I have to say that I am quite pleased with it. The mascara itself has great color and definition, making my lashes really stand out. It is also very easy to remove and doesn't result in a loss of too many lashes.
The only con: the brush! I thought it was way too chunky and just makes such a mess. It requires so much precision and effort to get it right and will often require a little bit of a cleanup. If they'd tweak the brush a bit then I'd definitely buy the mascara again and recommend it to my peers.
