I've been using The Body Shop make up products for a few years now and I'm rarely disappointed. I was pleasantly pleased to see that they didn't let me down with their primer either. As a new mom, I have some tired looking skin - I don't have a ton of time for cleansing and moisturizing all time, so the primer is a great product for my skin. Even when it's not its freshest, this primer goes on soft and provides a clear, clean layer of moisture for my foundation to sit wonderfully on. I find it helps my foundation look more even and adds a nice sheen that I don't normally have. I love this product and it'll definitely become a staple in my make up bag! -

Up front, I received this product as part of Chick Advisor's Product Review Club.
My facial return is pretty consistent, but I love mixing it up and trying new products, so I was super stoked when I was selected for this - and received not only this, but the ProEven Nightly Corrector as well. I've been using them both since I received them (Nightly about 5 wks on/off and daily about 3wks twice a day) and also use my Clairsonic Mia every day like clockwork (also from the Product Review Club - LOVE it).
First of all, the packaging for both products is spot on - a high end look of luxury for both the box and the product itself. Looks pretty spiffy on my bathroom counter let me tell ya ;) My only complaint with the packaging is actually the tube itself that it comes in - it was surprisingly difficult to get the cap off without either a) twisting the nozzle off with it, or b) squeezing excess product out before the cap came off.
I used ProEven twice a day - once in the morning and once in the evening. I DID notice that my skin appeared brighter and more even after about a week. That said, I have some acne scars and one brown age spot specifically, which I did not see much change in. That said, I do know the product says it should be used for a minimum 4 weeks before you may see that kind of change, so perhaps I'll have a better update in a few weeks.
The biggest downside for me: It seemed a bit..watery/runny for a moisturizer? I personally love a good thick/creamy moisturizer that feels like it's really hydrating my skin. This didn't do if for me from that perspective - it even suggests on the box that it may be used with other moisturizers. I was a tad disappointed in that, considering the price point it sells at, I would expect it to have a few more benefits to it.
All in all, I wouldn't say it was bad - the overall quality was fine, it did brighten like is said it would, but if I had purchased it, I would probably like something more all in one next time. That said, if you have a lot of dark spots, don't mind spending a bit for single purpose higher end products and are looking for something to help brighten you up, then maybe its for you!

I wanted to make sure that I had at least week of use before I wrote my review so that I could provide my honest thoughts on how I feel it's working.
First, I love the packaging. It's compact, cute and felt like I was getting a quality product. There wasn't too much extra plastic extra, just enough to keep my Mia 2 safe. Instructions were super easy and cleaning and charging this puppy is a breeze.
I was super excited to receive this product because I'm getting to that age where I realize how important it is that I take better care of my skin, and had been thinking about how I should really see about getting a facial more often.
Lo and behold, I have a facial every day now! I love the feel of the Clarisonic - it’s so light that the first few uses I worried I wasn’t doing it right. It barely felt like anything. But after 2 or 3 uses, wow did my skin ever feel clean! Not tight or dry, but just really touchable and soft. I couldn’t stop feeling my face!
The cleanser is a nice light gel that doesn’t feel like it’s stripping your skin (I’ve had that feeling with others). Afterwards I find my moisturizer absorbs better and my skin looks so much brighter. I couldn’t believe the amount of dirt that seemed to be on the brush :S And I before Mia 2, I regularly cleansed, toned and moisturized, so it shouldn’t have been that bad.
Overall, I really love my Mia 2 and I use it everyday before bed. I tried using twice a day, but found that I didn’t really need it that much first thing in the morning.
If you are in the market for an at-home cleansing device I would definitely recommend the Mia 2. That said, if I'm being totally honest, the price tag would be just a little scary for me (although, how much is one facial at a spa?) As I said though, if you know you want one and just need to decide which one - definitely think this is a great way to go.

Like others have said, I LOVE this mascara. As a lady blessed with insanely long lashes, I'm ALWAYS looking for the best mascara to compliment them. I don't need anymore length, volume, that's what I need. And man does this mascara give it. I've used a TON of different kinds of mascara - and this one may just be my new favourite.
It goes on smooth, with very few clumps. It makes my eyes look amazing and really gives an extra POP. I work from home and don't always get dolled up, but when I have a video conference call, I throw on some of this and bam, all of a sudden I look fresh and done up. It gives my lashes such awesome thickness and volume without the cakey, brittle look of multiple layers of application. Just one swipe and this stuff looks awesome.
My ONLY itty bitty pet peeve is that I wear glasses and if I put them on too soon before letting the mascara set, I end up with it all over my lens. (Yes, it adds THAT much volume!) So just make sure you leave a few minutes to let them dry :)

OMG LOVE THIS SHADOW! Seriously, that was my first impression of it and I've used it almost ever day for the past 2 weeks. It's a gorgeous creamy shadow that goes on so smooth and soft, it has serious staying power (I've worn it to a wedding, to the gym and accidentally to hot yoga - still there after!) There's no creasing like with powder shadows and it gives AWESOME coverage without layer and layers of cakey powder. The pencil is perfect for creating smooth lines and if you don't want to go super dark glam, it's easy to lightly feather and have it be less dramatic. I layered a little with some powder shadow just to add some dimension, and it looked fabulous. I will definitely be picking up some more colours of this one!!

So, I was SUPER excited to see that I received the prime 'n set powder. I've never used a primer before and was stoked to try it out. Unfortunately, my experience fell a bit flat. I really wanted to love this product because I've heard so many great things about primers - I don't know if it's just this one though or maybe my expectation was too high and all primers a like this, but overall, I didn't love the results.
First, I put it under my foundation. Before I added my foundation (liquid BB cream) it felt super dry. Once I added, obviously my skin felt moist again, but I saw no difference in the end result.
Then I thought, okay, maybe I need to use it as a setting powder. Now this was not good - for me anyway, the white powder just sat on my skin, making me look super fake pale and in particular drew attention to all the small blonde hairs I have (usually not at all noticeable).
I'm going to continue to play with it and see if I can figure out how to make it work for me - will update my review if anything changes - it could very well be user error of not being familiar with this new type of product, but if that's the case, I also wonder if perhaps it needs better directions?

I received this lip lacquer as part of the #GOSHGoddess promotion through the Product Review Club. First off, I was super excited to see that I received the lip lacquer - I don't wear lipstick or gloss often anymore, but have been eyeing the new bright lip trend and definitely wanted to try it out. This was the first thing I put on!
I LOVE how easy it went on. I didn't need a lot to make an impact and it dried super fast. I love the packaging too - the short wide tube is great and with a shorter wand, I found my application was more precise. Only thing I found was that it did seem to come off fairly easily when drinking or eating so I needed to reapply more than I necessarily like to (which is why I don't wear a lot of lipstick to begin with).
The colour was a beautiful bold pink and I just love the shade. My husband isn't a fan unfortunately - says his grandma used to wear the same colour...I told him his Grandma was one trendy lady then! Thankfully, I don't always listen to his opinions when it comes to fashion or looks. :)

I've tried Truly Radiant for the past week or so. When it first came, it struck me that I liked the box. The foil and shine made it seem like I should expect the same look after using it. The tube itself was not what I had expected. After using Crest Vivid white before, I expected it to have the same easy open cap, however this one is the same old fashioned twist off. I also expected it to look like the same full size tubes as this one gives the impression that it's smaller. I've used it twice daily now and t has left my teeth feeling squeaky clean, and fresh. I liked the mint taste of it, however it did have a hint of baking soda, which I'm not a huge fan of. In terms of whitening, I noticed a slight improvement in the shade of my teeth, however nothing super special. All in all, it's an okay toothpaste, nothing to complain about, but no better or worse (at least on the whitening side) than other options - as far as the enamel strengthening, I can't say I would know if it did help or not. -

The biggest thing I definitely like though is that it isn't too strong. It does the job without being full of burning alcohol (yellow Listerene anyone? ICK). After I'm done I don't feel like you can tell I've used it a ton, I just taste and smell fresh so I can go to bed and my sweets doesn't roll away or hide for cover from the scent.
I also like that when I spit it out there are little blue chunks in it. I don't know if it's true or not but that always happens when I'm at the dentist, so I think it's a good thing - probably plaque or such things coming off my teeth (totally guessing, but makes sense, no?).
If I do get in a good habit of using mouthwash (With this I could) I could see myself purchasing this again. There's nothing I don't like, but I'm not a huge mouthwasher anyway ;)

How much do I love this toothbrush? I received this brush as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. But seriously, after brushing with this puppy I felt like I'd just been to the dentist (and I'm actually due for a 8 month cleaning next week). Who knew toothbrushes could be so awesome?
Packaging is like any other, no bigger there. I was a little worried because they sent me a 'Soft' one and I usually buy Medium because I brush pretty tough. But the brush, oh the brush.
The sides have little rubber bristels that massage your gums. Not so stiff that it hurts, but you can definitely feel them working stuff off and out of the cracks and under your gums.
It has a little cheek massager on it, like some other brushes, but this one I could actually feel. I think the head of it is a little larger than the average brush so there is a bit more rubbing on your cheeks when you brush, but it's not awkward, it feels heavenly.
I also like the handle of it. Weird again, never thought of a toothbrush handle before but it's a bit wider and has rubberize padding so if gets wet in the process, it still doesn't slip out of your hands.
I will recommend and totally continue to buy this toothbrush - seriously, try it.
