I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
I have some really dry skin coming out of winter, but I hate putting cream on right before I get dressed because it feels sticky and greasy under my clothes. Aveeno calm and restore gel moisture goes on wet, but dries really quick and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on my skin or any residue on my clothing. My skin can sometimes be sensitive to certain creams, but the Aveeno doesn’t leave my skin feeling hot and itchy. Will definitely be trying more products from this line.

So I was very hesitant to use this on my face at first, it reminded me of the old epilators that used to rip your hair out…along with your skin! The flawless facial hair remover is really just that…flawless. There was no pulling of hair, it was a smooth, close shave that didn’t leave any redness or razor bumps. I would love to have a flawless hair remover for legs!

My 11 year old wasn’t feeling well (sniffles, cough etc) and can’t swallow pills so a liquid medicine is the only thing that she will take. When she first went to take it she said it smelled “gross” (I thought it smelled good…a hint of honey). After she drank it she said, “it smelled worse than it tasted”. After about 2 doses she said she felt an improvement with how stuffy her nose was. She also said it soothed her throat. I would buy this again because it was fast acting. -

The first thing I love about these lights is how long they are (10 m) and you can connect up to 36 strands of lights together! They give off a beautiful glow with 5 vibrant colours. The covers are easy to screw off if you need to change a bulb (5 replacements bulbs are included). The cord also has built in hooks so they are much easier to hang. I’m looking forward to wrapping these around out outside trees this winter! -

This is a great alternative for those kids who hate the taste of the liquid or who can’t swallow pills. My 11 year old had a headache and can not swallow a pill. She was worried the Tylenol chewable would taste “gross” but she said it wasn’t bad at all! After about an hour she said her head felt better. I will be buying this again for my children. -

The first thing I noticed was the REAL ice cream taste…not like some of those other ice cream “treats” where they use ice milk…this was the real deal! This ice cream tasted what real ice cream used to be like back in the day…creamy, smooth delicious! It had chunks of chocolate and cookie with a hint of caramel. The ice cream is a little more expensive than the average brand, but you are definitely buying a more superior product than most. I can’t wait to try the other flavours! -

I have sensitive teeth and I’m usually quite sceptical about using a “whitening” toothpaste, but decided to give Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief + Gentle Whitening Toothpaste a try. I must admit it didn’t bother my sensitive teeth and actually helped when I rubbed a little of the toothpaste directly onto my tooth when it was bothering me (sensitive to cold). I didn’t a huge difference in the colour of my teeth, so I can’t say for sure if it actually “whitened” my teeth, but it does a great job removing tea/coffee stains.

I really liked the Clean and Clear eye make up remover. I find a lot of eye makeup removers burn my eyes…this one did not! You don’t need to put a lot on a cotton pad to remove make up. It felt a bit oily at first, but I think that’s because it was actually moisturizing the skin around my eyes. I would buy this again as it is great value for the money and it gets the job done.

This chess game is awesome…let me start by saying it’s for any age. My 10 year old challenged me to a game of chess (I haven’t played in 35 years) and I kicked her butt! There are 2 sides to the board (easy and hard). We chose the easy set up side and used the bases that attach to the pieces which shows how the pieces can move. The most helpful thing in the game was the cards that give a brief description of how each player moves.
So you can teach an old dog new tricks…this easy chess game allowed me to play chess with my kids and not look foolish because I didn’t know how to play. As an educator, this would be a great addition to the classroom as it is easy to set up and understand. I would definitely buy this as a gift for others.
