Full disclosure, I received a $25 voucher (when I ordered $100 worth of groceries) from #chickadvisor in exchange for an honest review. I was a little skeptical at first because the delivery charge was $7.99 and Sobey's groceries tend to be more expensive than the usual places I shop, but I decided to give it a try. It was super easy to register and order all the groceries using my cell phone!
Likes
*Loved that you could shop sale items! Each category of grocery was broken down into subcategories as well as the "sale" section.
*If an item wasn't available, you couldn't even add it to your cart (unlike other stores where you only find out the item isn't available at time of pick up).
*Delivery was AWESOME! I received a call saying they would be here in 10 minutes. I was then asked if I would like the groceries left on the front step (totally non-contact) or handed off to me.
*The driver does a temperature check of the foods that should be chilled, just to be sure it didn't get too warm.
Dislikes
*The only downside was the $7.99 delivery charge...but honestly, if you ordered a large amount of groceries, the fee isn't that bad!

I tried the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil from #ChickAdvisor and #Igotitfree in exchange for an honest review. I was a bit concerned as the label said it could cause some burning and/or redness because it contained retinol, and I do have fairly sensitive skin. I put maybe 4-5 drops in my hand then rubbed it onto my face...no burning whatsoever...oddly enough it didn’t even feel greasy! I didn’t follow it up with the Neutrogena moisturizer, but I honestly didn’t need to even use moisturizer after using the oil. I can’t honestly say I noticed a decrease in fine lines or wrinkles, but to be fair I only used it for a couple of weeks. I will continue to use this product for a few more weeks to see if it makes a difference in my skin. Maybe if I used the Neutrogena moisturizer as a finishing product I would see better results??? -

I received the #Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Prep Cleanser from #ChickAdvisor and I #gotitfree in return for an honest review. I used this cleanser in the shower every morning. It has a VERY light, almost non-existent fresh scent. You only need a small amount to get the job done. I liked how it felt slightly gritty so you knew where you were washing. It rinsed off very easily and didn’t leave my skin feeling tight like some other facial cleansers. Neutrogena is a brand I trust and I would buy this product again. -

I received a #free sample of Tylenol Rapid Relief Gelcaps from #familyrated in return for an honest review. The first thing I really lived about these were the size of the pill. There is nothing worse then when you need to take a huge pill and it gets stuck in your throat. If I had no water, I could easily swallow this pill without it!
I don’t really take pain medication often, but I did have an opportunity to try these gel caps twice. The first time I used them I had a tension/stress headache all across the front of my head. I took 1 capsule (they are extra strength) and by bedtime my head had gone from a pounding headache, to hardly noticing anything at all...by the time I woke up, headache was gone.
The second occasion I took a gelcap was after a 5 km mud run. I popped a pill right after the race and a second pill the next day. I was feeling sore and achy all over. I definitely felt less “tight” after taking the capsules, but there was still a slight sore feeling. These are a great size to keep in your purse for when you feel a headache coming on. I trust the Tylenol brand and would buy them in the future.

I received a coupon from #Familyrated to try Mott’s Fruitsations + Fibre (Mango Peach flavour) for #free in exchange for an honest review. This must be a really popular flavour, because I had a hard time finding it in grocery stores. My children love apple sauce, so I knew they would like this...and they did! The added fibre is a great benefit, and I like that it is “unsweetened” (the peach mango flavour gives it a sweet taste). My kids usually took these for lunch or ate them as a snack before dinner..they are the perfect size. The only way they could be better, is if they sold them in pouches so you didn’t need to worry about having a spoon to eat them. -

I received this product from #chickadvisor and I #gotitfree in exchange for an honest review. I have naturally wavy hair and i usually just wear it up after a shower because it gets frizzy. After using the Love Beauty and Planet shampoo and conditioner I decided to leave my hair down to dry naturally. After brushing my hair and “scrunching” it with my hands to bring out some of the curls, I used the hairspray to see if it would help control the frizz. The first thing I noticed was the amazing smell! Usually the smell of hairspray chokes me and I need to leave the bathroom after spraying it...this hairspray has such a nice light scent it isn’t overpowering at all! I like that the bottle is clear and the “thing” in the hairspray that shows just how much spray you have left. The spray didn’t make my hair hard and crunchy like a lot of hairsprays, it is a light hold that worked perfect for holding curls. If you are looking for a hairspray to keep hair flat while in a pony, then this isn’t the spray for you...but if you are looking for a light hold spray to keep curls in tact and not frizzy, then I would recommend this. -

I received this product from #chickadvisor and i#gotitfree in exchange for an honest review. I received the #LoveBeautyPlanet package including shampoo, conditioner and hair spray. After using the shampoo,I followed it with the conditioner. The coconut milk and white jasmine scent is sooo good...I’m pretty picky when it comes to scent, but this was very pleasing...not overpowering at all. I have a LOT of hair so I find that I need to generally use a lot of conditioner to get all the tangled out. I found with this conditioner I didn’t really need to use a lot...if you spread it throughout the bottom of your hair a little really goes a long way. It doesn’t leave a heavy feeling in your hair and rinses out easily. It worked great for getting out knots and tangles! I live the natural ingredients and felt good about using it on my children. The only drawback for some may be the price. I saw it for $12.99, but I also saw a coupon at the store for $3.00 off which makes it more affordable. Since you really don’t need to use a whole lot, it lasted for quite awhile making it worth the price. I would buy this product again when I saw it on sale or with a coupon. -

3. Goes on very light...doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on your skin at all.
I had just returned from Mexico and my skin was super flaky and sunburnt. I was hesitant to use any cream in case it aggravated the sunburn. I used the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream and it felt amazing. It did not sting or burn and left my skin feeling soft and silky. From the sunburn, my skin was so itchy and flaking. I put the cream on in the morning and it lasted all day...reapplied at bedtime and after a few days I could see a noticeable difference in my skin. I think this cream will definitely become a staple in our home.

The first thing I noticed was the cool shaped bottle, it’s not like a regular shampoo bottle and was easier to hold and get out every last bit of shampoo! The smell of this shampoo is AMAZING... it’s a very light scent that smells almost “natural” if that makes sense. I have long hair and did not need to use a lot at all. It lathers up great and rinses our well. I have seen the price range from about $8-$13 (depending on retailer), which I find very reasonable. I felt good using this shampoo on my children as a lot of it contains natural ingredients. I will be purchasing this again in the future. -

I received a coupon to try the Sara Lee Mucfin Bites for #free. I usually make mini muffins for my family, so we were excited to try these. My entire family LOVED these muffins!!! They come 4 in each pack and they are delicious. I like how they are individually wrapped so you can just grab a pack and throw in your purse, or the kids lunch bag. The muffins were very moist, not dry and crumbly. The only thing you have to watch is that they have an expiry date...not that they lasted that long in my house! We will definitely buy this product again. -
