I've seen a few people asking how this compares to the truth serum and unfortunately that didn't work out for me, so the only comparison I can make is that this did not react or irritate my skin - probably a good job too as it would have been a waste and I can actually give some feedback on this product. I love the pump on this as it makes it easier to control the amount that comes out so there's no wasting it and a little goes a long way. My skin looks a lot brighter after application and leaves it glowing that 'healthy glow.' The only thing I dislike about it is the strong smell of oranges (if you like oranges then this will probably be okay for you). I'm not usually put off so much by a scent and can just brush past it but this is such a strong scent that it is overpowering for me. If by the time I'm done with this product and it's done amazing things for my skin, I will do my best to forget about it as it is only a minor criticism. I possibly would purchase this once I've used this up but maybe only on offer as it is quite expensive for me (in the UK, it's £53 on Boots) - I was kindly gifted this product from Ole Henriksen after filling out a survey via their Instagram -

There's a lot of love for this product and I've seen a lot of good reviews about this. I've only got a mini size as it came in the 'Let's Get Luminous. set that I got for my birthday back in January. Now I know products like this don't work instantly so I don't expect results straight away, but when I first used this I just felt it was doing the complete opposite as to what it should be. It felt sticky when it dried down, which I don't need under my eyes as they are quite a dry area at the moment so I need something more hydrating. It looks like it has a sparkly/glitter effect to it, probably because it is supposed to brighten up the dark circles, but I felt this made it enhance my dark circles and made me look more tired rather than cover them. I honestly do not understand the hype around this, there are definitely better eye creams out there for a cheaper price. If you do want to try this, then the 'Let's Get Luminous' set is a good one to get and I'm glad I got this as it means I didn't have to splurge to get this, the truth serum and the c-rush brightening gel creme. -

The first time I tried this, I wasn't really that impressed. My pump didn't seem to work at all as no product came out, the texture was a little thicker than I would've liked and it did pill after application (I did wonder if this was due to other products I used at the time). Fast forward a couple weeks and I've tried this again; my pump works fine and the texture is like a thin jelly, completely different to the first time I used it. Application was fine, however it does make my face feel a little weird. It's not a mask (although when I've double checked on Cult Beauty, the description does say overnight mask but the packaging doesn't) and you don't have to rinse it off but it does feel like I have a peel off mask on, although when touching my face it does feel smooth and is not sticky. My acne scarring has faded a bit but on the plus side, any blemishes I had have dried up within a couple days. I'm still not fully convinced that this product on its own is responsible for helping to clear up any blemishes and the face that it does pill everytime does put me off slightly, however I will keep using this for now as I'm happy with how my skin is looking at the moment. -

I managed to pick this up a few months ago from my local Boots for half price so it was definitely a bargain buy for me. I always cleanse my skin first using the Vitamin C Juice Cleanser just to make sure my skin is completely clear before applying this. You only need to apply a small amount of this onto your face and then I tend to leave it on for around 5 minutes for it to do its magic before rubbing it into my skin and rinsing off. It's really gentle on the skin so doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and really does lift away the dead cells off my face, leaving my skin feeling bright and smooth. I don't use this everyday in my routine, just as and when I need to but you can use this as often and as daily as you need to. -

I have the worst skin at the moment; combination, acne-prone and sensitive is not a great mix, but this does such a great job at keeping my skin clear and helps to keep breakouts at bay. It doesn't dry out my skin or cause any irritation and I've definitely noticed improvements since I started using this back in November. You only need to use a small amount so it will last you a while; I tend to use this once a day every other day and use other products in between. -

I've heard a lot about Ole Henriksen on Instagram so I decided to pick up the Balance Babies Mattifying Oil Control Set. Included in the set is the Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub and I have since repurchased this in the full size tube. Initially I never checked the ingredients of this and this contains glycolic acid, which is something I usually try to avoid as my skin does not react well to this and it can burn quite badly. Luckily, my skin reacted well to this and this scrub is now a product I'm happy to spend my money on. It feels amazing on the skin; it instantly heats up as you rub it in and then I do leave it on for a good 5 minutes before rinsing it off, in which it leaves a really nice cooling sensation to the face. Some products take a while to see results but with this, I've noticed improvements to my skin after just 2 uses so I definitely recommend this scrub if you're after something new. -

This mask smells amazing but unfortunately my skin reacted badly to this. It didn't state online at the time of purchase that this wasn't safe for sensitive skin and the ingredients seemed fine but after just 5 minutes, I had to quickly wash this off as my face was bright red and felt really hot (almost like it was burning). -

I did used to prefer a cleansing balm to take off my makeup but recently I have been loving using this cleansing oil instead. I take a cloth/flannel first, run this under some luke warm water and squeeze out the excess water so it's just damp. I then apply 2-3 pumps of the oil into my hands and then rub them together to slightly 'lather' the product before applying this to my face to begin removing my makeup. I find it's gentle enough for my eyes and does remove every trace of makeup, even mascara, but I do double cleanse if I've worn heavy makeup throughout the day; sometimes I do just follow with the Pixi Vitamin C Juice Cleanser (so still double cleansing, just with a lighter product). This isn't the easiest product to buy in the UK since it is only sold on Colourpop or Fourth Ray Beauty's website, but if you're making an order on Colourpop, this can just be added to the total at checkout since there's no extra customs when it arrives in the UK anyway and I can definitely recommend picking this up if you're in need of a new cleanser. -

Comparing this to a hyaluronic acid serum that I use from a different brand, I would say that this product is definitely a little more thicker in texture and whilst I do prefer the dropper system to it, it doesn't really make it any easier when it comes to the application of the product just because of how thick and gooey it is. It has a slight sticky feeling when you first apply it to your face, this lasts around 5 minutes but once it sinks into the skin it does leave it feeling smooth. It does do as it claims as my skin does feel nice and hydrated after just a week of using this but I'm not sure whether I would purchase this once I've finished this bottle just because I do prefer the other one I am using instead, plus there's no difference in price for the same amount of product. -

I'm a little undecided about whether I like this moisturiser. It's a gel-creme texture, which is what I prefer, and it sinks into the skin quickly. I'm not crazy about the smell, it's a little overpowering and lingers for a while. I like the way it makes my skin look once it's been applied but I think it does pill; I've tried it with different products and I think it's this that's the cause of the 'pilling.' I'm going to keep using it for now as it has brightened my skin and some darker areas have faded but I'm not sure I would buy it again as I do own other moisturisers that I prefer and are not as expensive. -
