I have worn dentures for 5 years now. My denturist recommended Fixodent powder. It wasn't a great idea. They (the top denture, specifically) would completely become dis-lodged from the rood of my mouth within 3-4 hours, and while I would be talking to someone, you could see it with every word: the sight of a top denture falling up & down repeatedly while I was just having a regular old conversation. The bottom denture dislodged even sooner, maybe 1.5 or 2 hours after application. Then I tried making sure that every single day, I COMPLETELY covered each piece (getting them nice and wet first, too). They still didn't hold.
At Walmart, I went looking for either the Fixodent powder (can be tricky to find!) or (preferably) something new I felt comfortable trying. When I saw that this Fixodent has added Scope in the cream, I was so excited that I purchased the 2-pack. I've added pics of both the singular box as well as the 2-pack ;).
The Scope in this cream sends out spritzes of this wonderful freshness. I'm not sure how long the freshness lasts, but I do know it's for (many) hours. It is the most wonderful, confidence-boosting thing I've run across in a while. The taste in your mouth of the Scope really ensures you are clean all inside your mouth & have very good breath.
The actual adhesive cream IS more potent than the powder; it lasts longer. I've had occasion where I've not been able to soak my dentures overnight and even 3 days later, all but the bottom is still well in place. My bottom denture needs a reline, so the cream on the bottom still only lasts a few hours. To me, this is absolutely not a problem because it doesn't move a lot, no one else knows it's out of place like they could see when my upper denture would keep falling, and you can eat anything, no prob.
The cost for both quantities as of right now in Walmart is $6.98 for 1 100 ml tube, and $10.97 for 2 100 ml tubes. $3.99 is the cost of doubling your quantity. When you consider the 2nd tube having a value of $10.97, the extra $3.99 for the 2nd tube in the combo pack sounds pretty good! (These prices are all NOT on a sale, either). As for how long a tube lasts, I bought my combo pack probably a good 5-6 months ago,and have used maybe 1/3 of 1 tube. Going at this rate, the 2 X 100 ml pack will last me 36 months (3 years, for reals!!) I am one happy gal.
The best advice I could give another denture-wielding Superwoman is to not be afraid to try something different. Denturists and medical doctors share at least 1 thing in common: They both are paid to recommend products. Recommendations do not always equal the best quality. Give this one a go. The most you stand to lose is about 7 bucks. I think you'll definitely like it tho!
P.S.- For some reason, it is only letting me upload 1 picture where it clearly says you can upload up to 3 pics. I chose the single pack of adhesive cream. Sorry, guys!

1. You don't get the promised carbonation/ bubbles in your soda or water.
2. Dollar-to-dollar, the pop and juices are about 2-300% higher than generic pop (i did the math one day!)
3.The Soda Stream system AND even it's bottle cannot serve any use (yes, if you don't live alone, you will need to buy more bottles- and good luck finding them + they're grossly expensive (starting at $12.99 USD on their website for a 2-pack of the smallest sized bottles, PLUS shipping, etc.)
4. If you are tired of carrying home 2L pop bottles and decide to do the Soda Stream flavours mixed with cold water because you have a bad back like me, just be prepared that each pop or juice flavour costs $6 and makes approximately 4L of drink.
5. Ok, now for the flavours themselves. Best ones I found were: Cola, Spritz Up, and Orange Soda. They make 2 flavours that have a rotten-ish/ horrible taste to them: The Iced Tea, and the Cream Soda. Lemonade is very close to not being digestible, as is Root Beer. The Cranberry juice is not very good. The Black Cherry Cola is one you wouldn't catch me dead trying. Ginger Ale & its diet compadre are NOT good. The other flavours listed on their web page are ones I have never seen in any store in my city....
6. No need to worry about buying replacement carbon bottles as you won't keep trying to get your machine to work past a dozen times (Refills on their web page are $40 USD anyways) (has your jaw dropped yet??)
Save your money for something really nice instead of a Soda Stream system.

I have food, severe environmental, and medicinal allergies. The environmental allergies are year-round. I just turned 40 and, as of my 40th birthday, I still had not found any allergy pill that would put a sizeable dent into my symptoms (which felt awful). I not only tried every single over-the counter allergy medicine but also rx stuff, and each product was tried many times over each to see if this brand or that brand "might work for me this time". In the 40-ish amount of years I spent cycling through every available option, I had never gone a day without taking something (that, at best, reduced my symptoms by about 25%). If I had even 50% of the money wasted on the lot of drugs I've tried to no avail, I would be well off. I tried an rx drug called Budesonide (kind of like a generic Flomax as it's known in the States) for a number of years.
Reactine Allergy Liquid Gels 24-Hour works in 20 minutes flat (others are an hour plus). They treat the following symptoms:
ITCHY, WATERY EYES
RUNNY NOSE AND SNEEZING
NASAL CONGESTION AND STUFFINESS
ITCHY NOSE AND THROAT
ALLERGIC SKIN ITCH AND HIVES
For me personally, they DO work for the 24 hours, which is really weird because no allergy medicine up until now has ever lasted more than 1/2 of the time the box says.
I've included a picture of the box you're looking for. Inside the big box, it contains a small, little bottle with the pills inside. I could not find a picture of the bottle. Reactine Allergy Liquid Gels 24-Hour comes in various quantities; I purchased the 25 pack because I (naturally) assumed i was throwing more good money after the bad.
I would highly recommend this allergy remedy, for either people who get hay fever in the Spring & Summer, and for those with environmental, year-round allergies. I am so happy with the dent it takes out of my symptoms that I guarantee I will keep buying more until the day someone (finally) comes out with a cure for allergens.
Go grab yourself a bottle!
*I am simply a reviewer, and was not given these pills by anyone OR requested to review them. I am just a regular gal & posting this to let the world know that there finally are some options for severe allergies.

Even if sprayed the instructed distance from your hair, you will get a lot of bright white, yucky stuff in your hair. The directions direct you to massage or brush throughout your hair, for clean, freshly scented hair. I massaged and massaged even more, took my paddle brush to it, and some of the white colour did go away, but my hair felt all greasy and kind of chunky of filth. All said and done, it doesn't clean your hair, and can actually make your hair greasier and have layers of filth added to it. Skip Batiste Dry Shampoo. If you still want to try it after reading this review, just take about $8 CDN and bury it in your backyard, because it will do as much good buried in your yard as it will do on "fixing" your hair when you're approaching day 3 without washing your hair because you're busy making the same money that you could save by NOT buying this dry shampoo. -

Using NaturEase in each nostril for allergies/ random other nasal problems is, imo, no different than spraying water up your nasal cavities and taking several dollars (loonies here in the great country of Canada) and flinging them out your window. It matters not how well you sniff it up to try to "absorb" the spray, but I must explain the fun of this little party medicine. Two sprays each nostril. During and after all 4 sprays were done, I sniffed them up so the mist would attach itself all throughout my nasal cavities. Then comes "the sneezing period"- you'll have a good time having a sneezing attack lasting several minutes of rip-roaring fun. Next, or in my case, WHILE you're still in the sneezing phase, you get the drips. Everything you just snorted up your nose, even after the sneezing attack, comes literally pouring out of your nose. In my case, it seemed like more came running out of my nose than just the amount the 4 sprays equalled. Now I'm back to a nice lovely dry nose, and my allergies are still driving me bonkers. (P.S.- I have used Reactine allergy pills dozens/ hundreds on and off throughout my 40 year life and have never reacted to those pills...) Bottom line, girls, save your money. If your child is sick, try a different nasal spray, or in case of allergies, go with any kind of allergy pill (my favourite is Aerius). Other suggestions that have a better track record than this garbage include: Neti pot with salt water solution (very easy to mix yourself), for dry nose either use a humidifier or, better yet, keep a low boil of water on your stove throughout the day when you're home, like i said, another type of nasal spray or allergy pills, this one is my go-to for allergies- cold medication. It's odd, but even though I have enviromental allergies (year-round) as part of my list of allergens, the best thing I've ever had is used any cold or sinus product!I have been on prescription allergy meds, every brand I've ever seen, and cold remedies are the only thing that get me by. Saw this Reactine spray and thought I'd better try it, but it was such a flop that I wasted several dollars and now have a brand-new bottle of crap in my garbage. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. -

Now listen: Since October (3 months ago), I've been sick. Two of the major problems were the sorest throat I've ever had (and I've done the strep thing countless times!) and my entire head, face, nose, eyebrows- allll that stuff being congested. I couldn't unplug 1 whole side of my nose to breathe! I tried about 6 different lozenges, a drink for colds and flu, neti pot, and warm water on the stove bringing up the house's air from dry to moist.
These Cepacol lozenges were a total turning point to me. Sure, I've gone through so many boxes that this illness is breaking my bank, but I tell you- Ain't no price on relief. They have benzocaine and menthol. The benzocaine will literally numb your throat, too.
Next time you have a cold, flu or sore throat, these are all you need. Grab a few boxes and trust in me, I'm telling the truth. If I had more time, I'd write a letter of thanks to the maker of this fine product.

I thought the name was cute and my teen aged son loved the scent and application of it. I have caught him wearing it more & more all the time! I highly recommend this anti-antiperspirant.

I decided to try a different shampoo. Found this one at Chatters Hair Salon (although would be sold at all salons.) I was a little worried (and perhaps curious too!) to see how Matrix Biolage Micro-Oil Shampoo would contend with a person who has oily skin and hair to begin with.
Let me sum it up for you: IT WORKS. The Moringa Oil Blend does NOT leave your hair oily. It feels great! You can feel the full effect after just one wash.
And because it is from a salon and is a professional product, you need much less than the others, so the price is better than the junk shampoos (extra added value is always a plus!)
I have hair down to my waist, and this bottle will last a year in all probability.
Definite must!

After seeing enough ads of girls using a black mask on their faces and peeling the mask off to find all kinds of gross things attached to the underside of the mask that had (supposedly) come from their pores, I decided to give it a try. I ordered Pil'aten Black Mask (actual spelling) from an ad on facebook. It cost me around $12. While I awaited my package, I kept thinking of all those girls on the facebook videos who were just amazed and beaming when they looked at the used underside of their mask and saw all that amazing gunk that had apparently come from them.
Well, I got my package and anxiously tried it out, eager to see what yuckiness could be found in MY pores.....TOTAL LET DOWN. There was NOTHING on mine at all, after following directions to the "T", which in and of itself was a challenge as the entire outside and tube was all in Japanese.
Then a few days later, I heard a reviewer say that it works great to pull of fine hair above the lip, so back to the Pil'aten Black Mask I went, this time even more excited as I hate fine hair! I wore a moustache of black around my house for almost an hour to let completely dry as in the first scenario. Then I ripped it off as fast as it would come. I leaned into the bathroom mirror hoping to see even SOME of the hair gone----NOTHING AGAIN!
The verdict? Save your $12 for coffee at Tim Hortons. Ugh.
