I like the texture of the serum. It did create a bit of residue when applied prior to my moisturizer. I am not sure if it would be better on top of the moisturizer but thought it would be more effective in absorption underneath

The texture of the gel is very rich and luscious. I found that it stung under my eye's and this lasted a few minutes. I did not enjoy the sensation. For a product that is marketed as calming, the stinging was a surprise. However, if you can tolerate the stinging there is subtle improvements in fine lines. -
