Recently I bleached my hair and my mother suggested the Blue Shampoo to tone down the orange tinge and brassiness. So far it seems to be working but leaves my hair feeling a bit dry. As a follow up to washing, a thick & rich conditioner is used as well as a leave in treatment. Over all it's pretty good and decently priced compared to other brand name shampoos like this. -

I am going from brown to blonde and needed to remove all color from my hair which can be pretty time consuming considering the drastic change. At the salon doing this can run into the $100's so chose to do this at home. I used this product the first time and the result wasn't light enough but after waiting a week I gave it another go and it did a fairly good job while leaving my hair feeling soft, shiny and not straw like. The conditioner in the box is amazing too! -

I wanted to try Fit Me foundation for quite some time but the price was insane at the pharmacy. A couple of weeks ago it was on sale for $6.99 down from $13+ and figured it was a good time to try the Hydrate and Smooth formula in Nude Beige. That was a big mistake! Within a couple of hours the makeup disappeared and my face felt oily, loaded with shine and dirty. I tried so many applications, with & without moisturizer, toner only, toner & moisturizer....absolutely every application had the same final negative result. The plus side was applying with a blending sponge was easy. Come to think of it that was the ONLY positive of the experience. -

I've been with TD for over 10 years and the service gets better all the time. The hours are longer, atm with no envelopes needed and more branches available. The MySpend app is fantastic for keeping an eye on budgets but I'm confused with how certain things are categorized. For example The Beer Store is listed as a "need" but Tim Horton's is a "want".....should be the other way around ;-) -

I always wanted a cast iron pan and found this one to be the best bang for the buck. First off, the price couldn't be beat...originally $85 but on sale for $20...who can say no to that?? Second, its heavy, REAL cast iron and not the cheap knock off material often sold. Third, the name that goes with it gives the expectations the quality would be great and it does live up to those standards. The pan is good for everything from omelets to fajitas to steak to full out breakfast in on pan.
Cleaning is simple. Rinse when hot, do not use soap (only a sponge) and heat on the burner to dry. It really is that easy! Once dry use olive oil or lard to coat the pan and let it be. You can cover the pan with paper towel if the area tends to be dusty.
If you are looking for an easy to clean, heavy, non warping pan that can cook pretty much everything with excellent quality than this is what you need :-)

We buy these all the time in a 12 pack container from Costco which includes 3 sizes & types of sponges: 4 Foaming Kitchen scrubber w/ Dawn, 4 Foaming bath scrubber and 4 Extra Durable.
-The Kitchen sponge is good for the stove/oven and dishes, dog bowls and other simple jobs that don't require a lot of elbow grease.
-The Bath sponge is great after giving our dogs baths. It cleans up the grime quickly and effortlessly turning the tub white again.
-The extra Durable is for whatever job its needed for, bathroom, stove, scuff marks....anything really.
Pro: Cleaner is already inside the sponge, not messy. Quick cleanups a breeze.
Con: Both the bath sponge and extra durable tend to fall apart sooner.

I tried this balm for the first time in February after vacation. The salt water & sun left my lips sore, terribly dry, peeling and burnt since I can't use sunscreen on them. After only a few days and nights of using it my lips were much more comfortable helped a lot to ease the discomfort. The ingredients are gentle, soothing and didn't have the typical fruity flavour found in other brands. I would definitely recommend this product. -
