Out and tell you what we thought. The boy got to try out Degree Men and I got to test
the latest Dove Advanced Care Invisible Sheer Cool Anti Perspirant Stick.
First off I have tried so many products that have promised no white marks and when you wear as much black as me that’s something you really want to hold the company to their word on.
I don’t like sprays or gels and find the clear sticks just feel sticky so I was really pleasantly surprised when I tried out the Dove Advanced Care Invisible Sheer Cool Anti Perspirant Stick and there actually weren’t any white marks left
behind.
I’d buy this product and use it, it didn’t have a strong scent and kept me feeling cool and dry all day- bonus no white marks!

I received some complimentary Knorr products from Chick Advisor to try out. I do love Knorr products and have tried many of their side dishes that have turned out to be family favorites. I love the idea of the one skillet meal but if I’m going to have to cook a protein (in our house it was tofu) plus veggies to add to the one skillet meal it’s no longer one skillet and I’d rather just make my own from scratch.
I try to avoid pre-packaged foods anyway so this particular one seems to be as much work as making it from scratch. I’m also not huge on spicy foods and this one had more kick than I would like.
I still love Knorr products and the Spicy Chipotle Chicken might be your taste but it wasn’t a hit in our household.

I’ll be first to admit that I’m a huge snob when it comes to my hair and the products I use on it. I’m open to trying new things but generally don’t until the current product just isn’t cutting it anymore. (If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, right?)
I prefer my salon products but do often look for other options that may lower my beauty costs. The Love, Beauty & Planet Argan Oil and Lavender smooth and Serene conditioner is definitely budget friendly and effective but it will remain my second in command for now.
I love the scent and the thick consistency of this conditioner but did find that my hair didn’t respond as well as I would have hoped. It smelled good and felt great wet but I noticed it wasn’t as soft and a bit on the frizzy side after use. I would definitely keep it on hand as a back up brand but won’t be my go to.

I love the scent and the lather that is produced by the shampoo but did find that my hair didn’t respond as well as I would have hoped. First off the Argan Oil and Lavender relaxing rain smells heavenly and that is one of my number one factors when purchasing a body wash. It must smell good and not be too perfumey. I’m super particular about scents so I was thrilled to get the lavender. It lathers up really well on my pouf and feels great on my skin. There was no drying or tightness after using and I do tend to get really itchy if the products don’t agree with me. Another bonus is the bathroom has a lingering scent for hours afterwards.
I’ve recently started to see this line show up on store shelves and the size and quality of the products is excellent value for the cost.

As a busy parent to a kid who is ALWAYS hungry and also constantly on the go I can appreciate certain convenience foods from time to time. While I try to make less packaged foods sometimes there just isn’t time to start something from scratch. Rice is a staple in our house so having a quick and easy option for the “between practices” snack is a life saver. The Knorr Selects Roasred Garlic Alfredo Rice was a hit with everyone, but it is a bit heavy on the garlic for my tastes. The boy loves his garlic so he was perfectly happy to devour every last grain! I’d definitely stick up on this and a few of the other flavors to have some quick options to get through the busy week. -

I’ve tried other brands of root retoucher and in a pinch they are all satisfactory. The Schwarzkopf brand is a nice size, and good value for the price, the colors are easy to match to your own hair and it does cover regrowth and *gray* in a pinch. I like the easy to use spray nozzle that has a spout that makes it easier to get the exact area that needs coverage.
What I didn’t like was the smell, when you first spray it it smells like the cheap Halloween hair spray paint that comes in all the funky fluorescent colors. The smell disapates after about a minute so it isn’t the end of the world but I wouldn’t want to use it if there was any chance of anyone getting close enough to smell my hair!

I’ve tried products like this before and have not had much luck with them actually washing out like they say they will. I have super blonde hair that is very porous and soaks up color really easily. It also doesn’t like to let it go! This product was a bit messy and hard to apply evenly- definitely recommend damp hair over dry if you are trying it out. I’m pretty sure I used most of the bottle to get an even distribution- I thought the check lot also looked more grey than blue but overall it was fun to try but a lot of work and not likely something I’ll do again. -

Mott’s Fruitsations has long been a favorite and trusted brand in our house. I love that there’s no added sugar and it tastes great, plus the kids love them! Now that there’s added Fibre there’s even more to love. The Tropical flavor is good but not a favorite in our house. I’d probably eat it myself because I do like Pineapple but I’m not a huge fan of the banana taste. It’s still good, and not overly sweet but I’d opt for the Raspberry first. It’s the perfect snack at only 50 calories per container and a great yogurt substitute in smoothies if you are looking for a dairy free option. -

Mott’s Fruitsations has long been a favorite and trusted brand in our house. I love that there’s no added sugar and it tastes great, plus the kids love them! Now that there’s added Fibre there’s even more to love. The Raspberry flavor is my personal favorite because the flavor is mild and not overly sweet. It’s the perfect snack at only 50 calories per container and a great yogurt substitute in smoothies if you are looking for a dairy free option. -
