My skin always gets angry when the the temperature drops below tropical and here on the west coast that happens more often than not. This winter my skin has been especially dry and itchy and I’ve been prone to more and more eczema flare ups than normal. I’ve tried all of my usual remedies including my prescription creams that I hate using but often turn to them out of desperation and this time around eve they aren’t working. When the Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm arrived i was ready to try anything. It took a few days to see any real difference but it did definitely soothe. I still have the odd dry itchy patch but I’d say after a couple of weeks of use I’m about 95% healed and my skin feels amazing. The Aveeno Active Naturals line uses Collidal oatmeal and ceramides to soothe and calm itchy angry skin and I plan on continuing to use it. -

Certainly not me, it’s why I have a dishwasher after all, however there are items that just can’t go in the dishwasher and that’s when I have to break down and wash them by hand. I generally choose soaps with a scent the I like to make the experience a bit better and Seventh Generation Lavender and Mint was heavenly. I love the smell and actually stood over the sink for a few extra minutes breathing it all in. Lavender is really soothing so it was almost like being at the spa. Just kidding, it was nothing like the spa but i did enjoy the scent, my dishes sparkled and it was all plant based and the scent was 100% Essential Oils and botanical ingredients. I’m always looking for a good product that helps me be nicer to the environment and Seventh Generation is going to be my go to. -

This is the first time I’ve tried Seventh Generation laundry detergent and I am converted! With a household of people with super sensitive skin this is one of the first laundry detergents that hasn’t irritated any of us. That’s a pretty big deal. Our sensitivities range from itchy skin to scent reactions etc with everything else I’ve tried so to find a product that uses 100% essential oils and botanical extracts to keep our laundry smelling fresh and clean is a good thing. I love the fresh lavender scent and the bonus is it relaxes the kiddos when I wash their bedding and makes for an easier nighttime ritual. I would recommend Seventh Generation to anyone who has sensitivities or just wants to leave less of a foot print on the environment by using more plant based products. -

The premier protein vanilla shake was just what I needed to add to my daily routine. The shake tastes great and is a great way for me to try to curb my breakfast skipping habits. It’s a quick and easy way to refuel after a workout as well and has given me the boost I’ve needed on days when I’ve not had time for lunch either. As a chronic meal skipper Premeir Protein shakes (both Vanilla and Chocolate) have helped me to start to shape new habits. I’m getting better at not skipping meals and when I am on the go I grab a shake to keep me going. -

The premier protein chocolate shake was the perfect addition to my daily routine. The shake was tasty (all be it a bit on the sweet side), a quick and easy way to refuel after a workout or when you just don’t have time for breakfast it’s the perfect meal replacement to start the day. I wasn’t the only one in the house who was a fan, the kids actually liked it too. It tasted to them like chocolate milk and was a perfect fit for their post soccer or baseball workouts. -

This product was very difficult to find, I'm not sure if it was just sold out everywhere or the stores just aren't stocking it. Once I finally did find it I was surprisingly pleased. I'm not a club soda type of person but i could drink the mandarin orange flavor on its own. I don't think that I would drink it straight often but I could. I would definitely use this product as a mix.it would work really well in a summer sangria.

The Axe body spray is nice, I like the scent but don't know how often I'd use it. I'm not really a body spray kind of guy.
There are lots of reasons to like the product though:
It smells good.
The packaging is nice and definitely catches your eye.
The mist that comes out of the can is light and even so you don't end up over doing it.
It's compact and easy to throw in the gym bag and great for on the go.
It pairs great with the body wash which is more my speed and I really liked.
The negative: My cat hated the smell and wouldn't come near me after using it.

When the boy received his box of goodies from AXE he was so excited, he ripped it open and proclaimed "Today, I am a man." You see the boy just turned 11 and has been wanting to move away from all of the baby stuff he's been using, his skin is changing and his needs are changing. I love that he will use the product with no arguments and that he comes out of the shower smelling clean and fresh. I also love the fact that the scent is subtle and not going to make you choke if he uses too much.
What the boy says:
AXE You body wash is awesome, I like how much it lathers and it's really smooth feeling. The smell is nice and my skin feels good after using it. I don't get all dried out or itchy like I do with some other body washes.
