It’s hard to compare these Shimmer Bricks powders to my regular, preferred highlights because they are in a class of their own, with their versatility and long-lasting properties. Are they better than my usual Holy Grails from Kevyn Aucoin and Laura Mercier? No, simply because they are very different, almost not comparable. I can’t stretch enough how breathtaking and luxurious these powders make my skin look (trendy and younger looking!).
Pros:

*A little goes a very long way

Except for the fact that the applicator is too soft and absorbs way too much product, this is the perfect concealer! As I get older, I realized that that serum-type concealer works best on my skin. The finish looks so natural and don’t make my under eye looks like I’m 10 years older. Furthermore, its hydrating formula and its blending properties are so unparalleled that, even if it comes with some disadvantages to its resume, I’m totally in love with this formula. With only six colors available though, I would ideally prefer a lighter shade for winter months but fair (the lightest) is great for summer. -

I've had this ABH Brow Powder Duo for more than a year now in the color Blonde. At 33$CND, it might seem like a lot of money for a powder, but I can assure you, it’s a good investment. After all these months, I don’t even see a dent (ok! maybe a tiny one), so before I hit pan, it may take a while… Since it’s the only brow powder I’ve ever used, it’s hard for me to compare with other well-known brands. But again, when you find a product that gives you great results, that is still at a decent price and that you love using, what more to ask; I love this ABH. The only thing I should have done is buy the Taupe color instead of the Blonde one. -

First, don’t let this small jar fool you: with its concentration and formula, this product will last FOREVER, even with daily applications. Personally since it’s very thick, I like to sheer it out with moisturizer or some kind of primer or sunscreen. It’s the perfect product for summer since it’s waterproof. Even if it’s a little pricey, its versatility makes it a wonderful product to add to your collection.
I ended up buying many other Kevyn Aucoin products after using this beauty. The love felt from this wonderful cream is contagious as, so far, every single product I have used from his line is amazing. I am totally a convert!

Honest to God, the first time I used this palette, although I achieved such a beautiful eye makeup, was a real disappointment. When I noted that the Candlelight Powder & cream version were not showing at all on my fair skin, I decided that this baby was going back to the store. The second day, I used it again mainly for a review purpose. In spite of falling in love with Starlight and the Sculpting cream (so good, like nothing I ever tried before), I was still returning it. On the third day, I went all out and used every products in this “Complete Book” and I was astonished: my makeup looked so natural even though I used all these products, but nevertheless, questioning all those rave reviews, I was returning it. Forth day, aka “return day”, I still used a lot of products (why not at this point) but then, something happened -
