I just had to review Nivea Soft. I've been using it for 16 years now, since I was a young teenager and it's never failed to make me feel young and amazing.
It leaves your skin very moisturized and super soft, the smell is very gentle and I always feel refreshed, awake and healthy right after applying it. My skin looks and feels amazing.
I swear by this product and I hope to use it the rest of my life!

I'm a little late on the bandwagon here, just trying eos lip balm for the first time the other day. I'd avoided because the price is so high it seemed a little ridiculous.
It does work though, and it tastes great. It's smooth to the touch and the fact it's organic is an added bonus.
Although the price is high, there is a lot of the actual amount of lip balm in the sphere, I can see it lasting quite a while.
I will probably buy it again... it's effectiveness and quality are 5 star for sure.

Essence 3D duo eyeshadow
I'd been thoroughly impressed with Essence products so far so I didn't hesitate when I saw the 3D duo eyeshadow in "irresistible purr-ple" which were two shades of purple; a lilac and a grape.
It's packaging and outward appearance is really pretty and the colours jump out at you saying "buy me".
When applying however, I tried a couple times with just the duo before I got frustrated. No matter how I contoured it, it looked very matte and like I had a black eye.
Wiping my eyelid clean, I wet the grape colour and used it as a liner for my top eyelid. I applied a sparkly white from a different brand to most of the lid, then with the lilac colour I gently smudged just out of and over the inner corner of my eye, and then gently dusted it around the white and winged it outwards.
Then wetting the lilac, I painted a very thin line as a liner for my bottom eyelid.
With a thick coat of dark mascara, this ended up being very pretty, but after 4 hours of wear, it had smudged and I was walking around with "black eyes" again and opted to take it off completely to avoid embarrassment.
For that reason, I won't buy this again. For short wear, this can be a very pretty shadow and liner IF you add another base colour and only use it for contouring. When that's done it does give a 3D effect as it says it does but don't be fooled into thinking only the two colours will give you that effect.
Price-wise... Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

When I picked up a couple bottles of Essence's nail polish, I wasn't expecting much from them. I was in dire need (#firstworldproblems) of a watermelon red, and I was out of my favourite top coat. At $1.99 each, but with no colour name, they fit the bill for the change left at the bottom of my purse.
However, I was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly it painted on. The thick, soft, nylon bristled brush nearly encompassed the whole nail for 2 easy strokes without any leakage towards the sides.
As someone with constantly shaking hands, this is especially nice to have.
Completely mess free, it only took two coats of colour, and one top coat and my nails were perfect! It has a relatively quick drying time as well.
I usually opt for budget friendly Sally Hensen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear when I'm in dire straights financially, but Essence easily takes the cake this time. My only complaint would be it doesn't appear to mix well when you shake the bottle, however, this is appearances only. Painting it on it seems very consistent in colour and texture... perhaps when I get to the bottom of the bottle or when it ages I'll have a problem but I'm not there yet.
So if you're in a pinch for overall colour, this is the polish to go for! I've already bought 2 more bottles so no more "hard times" for a while.
