We had fun playing with this as a family. Definitely not meant for little kids, as they love to eat anything and everything. My only issue with this type of toy, is that if your playing surface is slightly dirty, all that junk ends up in the sand. Toy would be best with a placemat or plastic sheet etc. For me, too much work/cleanup. -

I found this toy to be very exciting, even as an adult. The self-hatching egg was such a delight to watch. My only issue is the basket part of the toy is large and the little pieces don't really fit in there anywhere. Other than that, I am thrilled.
