VINYLUX is a collection of gorgeous hues that promise to hold up at least a week – hence the name. Simply apply two coats of VINYLUX Weekly Polish in your choice of 76(!) shades, then finish with one coat of VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat. All 76 shades dry fully in just a couple of minutes, and are 3-free (no DBP, Formaldehyde or Toluene).
New to the CND VINYLUX collection are 6 gorgeous shades inspired by the tropics! The CND VINYLUX Paradise collection consists of Electric Orange, Bicycle Yellow, Lush Tropics, Cerulean Sea, Tango Passion, and Sultry Sunset. And the perfect topper is CND VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat, which protects nail polish and provides added shine.
CND kindly sent me the entire Paradise Collection, as well as CND VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat and CND Solar Oil. VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat is perfect for protecting nail polish and adding shine, while Solar Oil is ideal for nourishing cuticles. Use Solar Oil before and after applying nail polish, while Weekly Top Coat is the Top Coat to use once per week, as well as along edges every few days.
I absolutely love CND’s Weekly Nail Polish colors, and their Paradise collection colors are gorgeous, and perfect for summer. Just as they advertise as being, the VINYLUX collection truly does last about a week before there is noticeable edge wear and chipping. The only exception to this is Bicycle Yellow. This color is gorgeous in the bottle – a slightly lemony sunshine yellow with a touch of sparkle. But it’s thick and chunky in consistency, was hard to apply, and the finish was streaky. And, it didn’t last nearly a week before flaking and chipping. The other colors, however, are easy to work with, and provide a smooth & opaque finish with just two coats. These colors are gorgeous, vibrant, and perfect for weekly summer manicures! I’ve yet to find such a long-lasting nail polish, and the CND Weekly Top Coat can’t be beat (seriously, it’s amazing, even with other polish brands).

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes feature a base coat, color coat, and top coat all in one, so you can forego the typical application process that involves three separate bottles of nail polishes, and just use one! Additionally, Complete Salon Manicure is designed to provide growth and strengthening elements to nails, and it’s resistant to chipping and offers a gel-shine finish, so really, one bottle offers 7 features, which does make it worth the higher cost (as compared to standard nail polishes by Sally Hansen and similar manufacturers).
I've found that how well these all-in-one polishes work depends on the color as well as texture and finish. The glitters, for instance, hold up REALLY well, while the more solid colors and metallics do crap and chip a bit. Still, being able to give myself a complete at-home manicure in one go, rather than with 3 to 4 separate bottles, is a very nice perk of these polishes!

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Hardener is a product I picked up after asking around on Twitter for recommendations on nail-hardening products that would enable me to keep my nails longer. I subject my nails to a good 40-50 hours of keyboard usage per week, plus plenty of household work, so it’s not common for them to wind up breaking once they get a little beyond the edges of my fingertips.
Well, I am happy to report that thanks to Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Hardener — which applies and can be used just like a base coat — I haven’t had any issues with my nails breaking in almost two months! Just one coat of the Diamond Strength Hardener makes my nails visibly stronger, and they definitely feel stronger – they don’t have the flex and give (and flake and crack and chip) that they do even with 2-3 coats of regular base coats and nail polish.

Press-On Manicure kits consist of 24 individual press-on nails in 12 different sizes, which ensure that you’ll get the perfectly-sized manicure. Simply remove the clear sheet that protects the adhesive on the underside of each nail, then press on top of your own nail to apply. The adhesive bonds with your natural nails instantly, leaving you with a perfect ready to go manicure. I’ve used these several times, and have had manicures last as long as ten days before having to re-apply a nail or two with some nail glue. They hold up beautifully through everyday wear – typing, dishes, swimming, whatever!
Broadway Nails Limited Edition Holiday imPRESS Press-On Manicure Kits saw me through the holidays, though I must admit to breaking out the nail glue to help them stay on a bit longer. And, even the "short" set is a little on the long side - so don't hesitate to grab nail clippers or a nail file to shorten them a bit!

Kiss Nail Dress proves that nail polish stickers aren’t just for little girls. These grown-up nail polish strips are ready to wear – just peel and apply adhesive-side down, and you’re good to go – no drying time to deal with. Currently Kiss Nail Dress nail polish strips are available in 18 different patterns and finishes. Each set of Kiss Nail Dress nail polish strips includes 28 individual nail polish strips in 14 different sizes, so there’s more than enough to do your nails at least once (and if your nails are short enough, you can cut each strip in half and make up to four sets!).
I have used a few sets of Kiss Nail Dress now, and what I like about them is how easy they are to apply. They’re quick to peel off and quick to apply – no cutting, no pain-in-the-ass shoving of the strips down into the sides of my nail with a wooden stick (like I have to do with another brand of nail polish strips), no cutting, etc. First, prep your nails by cleaning off any prior nail polish with nail polish remover, then wiping down bare nails with rubbing alcohol. Then peel each nail strip from the plastic sheet, apply, press down to ensure a good seal, then fold down the excess and file off. I always apply a hardening base coat first and apply Kiss Nail Dress nail strips while it’s still wet, to ensure a super-firm adhesion. I then finish with at least two clear top coats, in order to protect the finish of the Kiss Nail Dress strips and ensure a long-lasting shine. The strips do have a tendency to peel up along the edges and sides, but with the use of a nail file and similarly-colored nail polish, you can get several extra days of wear out of them!
