Ever since those menacing years of hormonal change, I've been seeking out products to help treat my problematic skin.

Being in my early 20's now, I no longer have a big acne problem like I used to, but I still have the type of skin that requires constant care to maintain it in good shape. I have a combination skin type where my T area gets super oily while other areas can get fairly dry at the same time. Like many who face the problem of oily skin, I also have to deal with breakouts, redness, blackheads, and dilated pores. Of course, finding a product to satisfy all my skin-related needs was not easy and believe me, I've spent many long years and have emptied many wallets undergoing this painstaking quest.

Although some products will say they are for combination skin types, I find that most will falter in one or more areas ( good for moisturizing normal skin but not strong enough to reduce oil; strong enough to reduce oil but dries out my normal skin; or while trying to balance both, do neither ).

So you could imagine just how happy I become each time I receive a compliment now, on how great my skin looks. Apart from drinking lots of green tea and eating healthy, I owe part of this happiness to Vichy's NormaDerm Anti-Imperfection lotion as part of my daily skin-care routine.

Sure it's not exactly a cheap product cost-wise, but it definitely not a cheap product quality-wise. I believe it is worth every penny that you pay. You can get less costly products on the normal skin care aisle, but no matter how many under $20 products that you will try, they will not compare to the results you will get with this $24 bottle of magic.

The highlights of this product is that you can actually instantly feel and see the difference! No joke! It mattifies those oily areas instantly and regulates the skin throughout the day so it feels supple and balanced even hours after application! I have a really bad habit of touching my face and picking at unevenness which often causes a lot of redness. This product actually visibly reduces redness on application, calming the skin like no other moisturizer that I've tried. It really is like the superhero that saves me from the destruction I bring to my own skin!

Of course like any other product, the results improve with continuous use. After a few days of use, I really did notice the reduction of my hideously dilated-pores. I also felt that my skin's natural oil-balance became more regulated even when I miss out on my daily skin-care routine.

So all in all, I would definitely recommend this product to those who have high-maintenance skin like myself. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Naturally good skin is the best feature to a beautiful face. Take care of your skin by engaging in a good cleansing routine, as well as sleeping and eating well!
