I have thick, curly hair and I use TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Treatment any time I want to straighten my hair. I have to use more pumps than the directions suggest because my hair is so thick and long, but the bottle still lasts me a long time. I find that my hair is easier to straighten, takes less time to complete, and is very smooth when I use this treatment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who straightens their hair, especially if they have thick or curly hair. -

It's been a while since I've used Becel (I now use regular butter), but when I did try this one, I found it tasted pretty much the same to original Becel. I haven't seen the prices of the two recently, but if I were going to purchase one, it would be whichever is cheaper and/or has the better value. I don't really think there's a difference between them so I would take any if the price is good(once you like the taste). :) -

It's actually been a while since I tried and used Becel with olive oil. From what I remember, it tastes just like regular Becel, which is alright. It's something I would use if I had to or it was the only option, but I much prefer just regular butter. Many people think it's not healthy for you, but everything in moderation. But out of all the Becel products, this would probably be my first choice. -

I received this product free for testing (along with the Dove Advanced Hair Series Regenerative Nourishment shampoo and conditioner) from a program other than Chick Advisor and I find it to be very average. The smell is wonderful; the texture in your hands is greasy but on my hair it's not -- it's just slightly smoothing and hydrating; and it works okay to smooth and shine hair. Like I said, pretty average and much like other serums out there. I don't quite think it did much for my hair where "Less Breakage" is concerned, but the matching shampoo and conditioner combo definitely did. -

It's been a while since I've used Pond's make up removing wipes. I've tested a few different brands to find something that works just as well and isn't too expensive. I do really like these ones; the way they work, the smell, and the price is average. I find what I'm using now has the same effectiveness but with more in a package for less cost (about 60 towelettes for the cost of one 30-pack of Pond's), so that's the only thing making me buy the other brand -- better value. -

I tried Simple's Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes along with their Micellar Cleansing Water and Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. I used the wipes a few times to remove my make-up -- usually washing my face with water afterwards. I found that it removed my make-up much faster than other make-up removing wipes(but Simple's Micellar Cleansing Water on a cotton pad worked even faster). It also didn't require me to vigorously rub at my skin(mainly my eyes) to get the make-up to come off. To help put it into perspective, I only wear eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and blush; I do not use any waterproof make-up; and the lipsticks or lipglosses I use usually wear off by time I remove the rest of my make-up. So I don't have a whole lot of make-up that needs removing which could contribute to the ease and speed in which I remove mine. Like I said before, I have been washing my face with water after using the wipes because I often get mascara specks in my eyes that I need to wash out. One day I decided to try using a wipe and not washing my face with water afterwards since the products say there is no need to. The same night and follow few days, I had itchy skin all over my body(mainly eyes, neck, back, and arms), and my eyes were swollen. I cannot say for sure that it was using the wipes and not rinsing my face afterwards that caused this to happen, but taking into account the other details of my day, I don't know what else it could have been. I did have to take Benadryl to calm my what-seemed-to-be allergic reactions, and I haven't used the Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes since. Though they worked very well for their intended purpose, I'm not sure it is a product I can continue to use. After a few days, I also noticed many dry patches of skin on my face, again, I don't know where else they could have come from, but also don't think I can say 100% from these wipes. Despite all of that, I would still recommend them to others, of course informing them of my experience so they could make the final decision for themselves. I'm sure most people wouldn't have reactions like I did and in that case would benefit from the easy use and speed of these wipes. Overall, I find the Simple Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes to be a product that can be used gently on the skin to very quickly and effectively remove make-up.

I tried Simple's Micellar Cleansing Water along with their Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes and Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. I used the cleansing water a few times to remove my make-up. (I didn't realize it was something you could use even when you don't have make-up to remove, so I intend to try using it to just wash away oils and dirt that accumulate during the day instead of soap when I wash my face before bed.) I tried it with a cotton pad rather than a cotton ball and found that it removed my make-up much faster than other liquid make-up removers or make-up removing wipes. It also didn't require me to vigorously rub at my skin(mainly my eyes) to get the make-up to come off. (I have been washing my face with water after using the cleansing water because I often get mascara specks in my eyes that I need to wash out. I haven't tried using the cleaning water without washing my face with water afterwards, but I will probably try doing that at the same time as trying it to just cleanse my face without having make-up to remove.) To help put it into perspective, I only wear eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and blush; I do not use any waterproof make-up; and the lipsticks or lipglosses I use usually wear off by time I remove the rest of my make-up. So I don't have a whole lot of make-up that needs removing which could contribute to the ease and speed in which I remove mine. Either way, I find the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water to be very fast and effective in removing make-up and hope to see that it also effectively cleanses skin overall.

I tried Simple's Replenishing Rich Moisturizer along with their Micellar Cleansing Water and Micellar Make-up Remover Wipes. I applied the moisturizer after using either the wipes or the cleansing water, and I also used the moisturizer some days on its own. I don't find the moisturizer to be anything special, or even anything particularly good ! It's pretty average when it comes to smell, consistency, and moisture(only when first used).. But for me, the moisture isn't even absorbed into my skin. It stays on my skin unnoticed until I wash my face again -- whether it be a few hours later, or even overnight. I used it many nights and when I showered or washed my face in the morning, I felt the sliminess washing off as well, as if I just put lotion on my face and tried to wash it off immediately. I haven't seen any positive differences in my skin after using Simple's moisturizer, so sadly I don't think it is a product meant for me. But that doesn't mean I've lost all faith in the brand. Again, not for me, but I do know many people looking for natural products or ones with less chemicals to use. So after learning about the brand I would recommend them to others but still tell them my personal experiences for them to make the decision to try them out or not.

We usually purchase McCain brand fries so it was only a matter of time for them to make their way into our freezer. Like most frozen fries or potato wedges, they take about 20 minutes in a toaster oven. (Sometimes the anticipation is too much and you try to eat them as soon as the timer finishes and end up burning your tongue.) But the time passes quickly and then you're in for a yummy treat.
These extra crispy spicy straight cut fries are quite yummy. For me, they aren't very spicy, but the slight zest is still a very nice added flavour. I may have took them out of the oven too early as well, because they also weren't extra crispy. But I would definitely buy them again. I could just keep eating them because they taste so good ! I think these are good for anyone who likes zesty or spicy foods, because they aren't very spicy, anyone can eat them without thinking it's too hot. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Go out and try these fries !
