This cleanser has an average price point, but feels like a more expensive brand. It is not fragranced and your face feels very clean afterwards. I only wish that it foamed up more for an even deeper clean. When I used my facial brush I got a more effective result. This is only due to the fact that my last few cleansers have been of the foaming variety. I have tried other Aveeno cleansers before and they resembled more of a cleansing milk, I like this one much better than those. It really compliments the ultra calming moisturizer, as well. -

I have tried other Aveeno products before, but this has got to be my new favourite. It has a very soft texture that is very absorbent. My face did not feel greasy at all. I also love that Aveeno shies away from using fragrances and added chemicals. The SPF of 30 was another fantastic bonus. I can see this as my go-to facial moisturizer for the summer. It has the best of both worlds: SPF and calming agents that soothe the skin after sun exposure. I would highly recommend this to family and friends. -

I received the Micro Mist Hair Spray Level 1 from Chickadvisor to try. I was thrilled to try the level one, because I have typically only tried hairsprays that leave your hair stiff. This spray acts more like a smooth finisher. My hair was left flexible and soft and I really liked that. The smell was not overpowering like hairspray either. My only complaint was that it did not come out as "misty" as other sprays I have used, so my hair felt a little wet at first before the spray evaporated. -

Very soft bristles. The powder clings to the ends and disperses on your skin easily. No bristle hairs come out. This is a very good quality brush. I am eager to try more makeup applicators from this brand.

I was extremely excited to try this product when it arrived, compliments of ChickAdvisor. It came in with a beautiful brush to use along with it. I checked out the product in the store previously and at a $30 price point, I was wary to try it. I tend to choose products in the $20 range for foundation powders. I was so happy that I got to try this product, however, because I really like it. The loose powder stays contained because of the netting like structure it has inside. Most loose powders I have had did not have this type of feature. It was either really hard to get the powder out of the small plastic holes, or it was too open and too much powder came out. This system seems to work really well. The powder went on smooth and really kept my shine down all day. It is a light coverage, and that is what I like. -

I would love if it came in a bright red tone. -

I received this product in Dark Blonde. I tried it on my roots, which are dark blonde (I do have blond highlights), but I tend to get grey hairs. I was excited at the prospect of covering my grey hair, before having to get my hair coloured again. This was a selling point written on the bottle. Unfortunately, the spray looks just like that- spray. It did not look natural on my hair colour, so I promptly washed it out. Unless the colour match was perfect and could be finger blended (like you do with a dry shampoo), I don't know if this is a viable option to use between hair colourings for most people. I think you are better off to do a temporary hair colour, which will absorb into the pigment of your hair and will look more natural. -
CND VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat

Goes on extremely smooth. I like the size of the brush and the consistency of the coverage. This top coat gives a very nice shine. I would wear this on it's own as a clear coat to give my nails a nice healthy looking gleam. I do not find it lasts a week, as advertised, but no polish on me tends too. I regularly wear a clear coat if I am going out and want a little something on my nails. I tend to avoid colour on my nails because it never lasts and I can't stand the chipped look, but this top coat looks great and It is barely noticeable when it starts to chip if worn alone. #gotitfree -

I was super excited to try CND's Vinylux polish. It is advertised as a polish that will last a week. Too good to be true? I set out to find out. When I first received this product a few weeks ago, I tried it right away. Now, I am not someone who usually paints my fingernails, because manicures never last more than a day on me. I find my nails look horrible and chipped so quickly, that it is not worth the time and effort. After the first application, here's what I learned. The polish takes a little while to dry. This is another problem for me. I can't sit still long enough to ensure my nails are set. I gunked them up on the first application. Total fail. The next time I tried it, I was peeling stickers off my child's toy a few days in and that was enough to destroy the polish on the tips of my nails. Another fail. Finally, on my most recent round, the polish has lasted a little while longer. There is definite minor chippage on the tips of my nails, but it is hardly noticeable. The colour is very pretty-very saturated. Something I would be proud to rock on my toes in the summer. Would I continue to paint my finger nails with it, no, probably not. No nail polish seems to work on me, because I don't tend to be careful with my nails (those dishes need to get done, after all). I do, however, love to have brightly coloured toenails in the summer, so this polish will be put to lots of use then! I would purchase this brand in the future for a toe polish. -
