I remember watching and following the tragic events of April 15th, 2013. The day that 2 brothers went to the annual Boston Marathon and put two pressure cooker bombs near the finish line. 3 people ended up dying, one being an 8-year-old little boy and hundreds of others were injured or lost body parts. It was a horrible day and one I won't forget. I remember also watching the hunt for the 2 brothers as well and how it ended up with one of them dead and finally the other in custody. I remember how I wanted to learn as much as I could about it and about the 2 people who could do something so horrific and inhumane. This book answers a lot of stuff and is very informative. It makes you think about a lot as well. About the case, how it was handled and so much more. If you are looking for a good read about anything related to the Boston Marathon and the people responsible then I recommend this book. -

I absolutely love Batiste Dry Shampoo! I had always wanted to try out dry shampoo and I am so happy that I did! This stuff is amazing. My first experince was after I had not washed my hair for 3 days. I had been super busy and not feeling the best, so I didn't have time to wash my hair. By day three of course my hair was not looking the greatest. Kinda oily and limp. Well, then I sprayed on the Batiste and was pleasantly surprized. My hair looked so good again like I had just washed it and styled it. You just spray it in the roots and then kinda pat it in better and then style as usual. I can't say enough good things about this stuff and if you are lazy like me when it comes to doing my hair, lol, then this stuff is perfect for you. It has been a lifesaver many times! It's super affordable as well. -

I don't have a lot to cover up, to begin with, but this covered what I did have pretty well. The color was a bit darker than my natural color and that's the only problem I see, just getting it close enough to your natural one. I like that it's in a spray can and it's perfect for going out or just needing to touch up your hair fast. It does come out when you wash your hair which is nice in case you don't like it. Overall I think it's a pretty good product and it's perfect if you always seem to get ready at the last minute like me! I also like that it will last a long time since you don't need to use a lot since you are just doing your roots. -

I was a little unsure at first about this product, only because I have never tried and I am kinda a creature of habit when it comes to dying my hair. Especially when it comes to the different colors.
I got the red color one. On the side, it tells you how it gives you a color lightener cream, that way if the color is to red for your liking then you could put the cream in and work around with the color and even get it down to a light pink color if you wanted. I had never seen that with other dyes, so I thought that was a cool feature. So after everything was said and done, these are my likes and dislikes about the product.
I like the color. I like that so far it has not faded much at all even after I have washed it a few times now. The problems were for me that the instructions are very confusing! Maybe it's just me but I just couldn't really understand them especially when it came to how to use the lightner cream. For me, it didn't really work. I believe I just ended up mixing it all in with the color because I was frustrated and well I couldn't waste much more time trying to mix it in slowly. I also did not have enough of the color. So I just did underneath my hair and my bangs. I do have down to the middle of my back hair length though, so had I know I would have got two boxes. So if you have long hair, do keep that in mind.
Overall, I was really happy with the color and how well it has been lasting. As I said the main downfall for me was the instructions and running out of enough dye to do a good job. I have tried lots of other dyes and I always have enough for all my hair. I just felt that with this one they don't give you very much dye. I guess it depends on what you want to do with your hair. It's a tough one but I would buy it again, I will just make sure to buy two that's all.

So easy to use since they come with a little how to diagram and they also include a little makeup brush and 3 different shades of makeup. I strongly recommend any of these make boxes and the price is really reasonable. -

For any ladies out there who are not the best at doing their makeup well the brilliant people at Essence have created a cute little make up box for you that comes with a little tutorial.That way you can actually put the right colors where there supposed to go and so on. I, myself am not the best with makeup so I love these boxes and own 3 different ones. Each box comes with 3 shades, a brush and a little picture showing you where each color goes on your eye. It's perfect and I really recommend these, they would even be great if you have a daughter who is getting into the makeup stage. -

I love this little makeup box! It's such a great idea and I love the little tutorial picture you get with it. I was never the greatest at doing my makeup so it's nice to get a little picture that helps you out. So great idea Essence! The only thing I noticed is you do have to reapply it by the afternoon if you put it on it the morning but you pretty much have to do that with lots of makeup. The price is great on these as well considering you are getting atleast 3 different shades inside. This is a product I really recommend. -

I just started using the Lancome youth activating serum about 2 weeks ago. I use the blackest black color and it is nice for bringing out your eyes without having to put a ton on. The price is very reasonable and I find it to be quality mascara. I definitely recommend this and other cover girl products. -
