I received two samples of Pink Ice Energy and was looking forward to trying them, as I have trouble waking up in the morning. I tried them one groggy morning and was impressed with the taste and how quickly it seemed to be absorbed into my system.
It DID give me more energy and help me to wake up, however I found that about 20 minutes after taking this I got a headache and 10 minutes after that there was A LOT of activity in my bowels. (I wasn't sure if I should keep driving to work or turn around and head home).
After reading the warnings on the packaging and having these negative reactions, I will not be trying this product again. Use at your own risk.

I received a sample of this in my Life Little Box monthly subscription. I was very interested to try this as I regularly take epsom salt baths to detoxify and relax my body and I have been wanting to try a mud bath.
After pouring it into the running water, my bath quickly began to resemble a swamp. I was a little worried that it would stain the bathtub, but the packaging advised that it would not. I found the bath very relaxing and loved the smell of the lavender, but it was a strange experience to be in a bath where I could not see my body.
After getting out of the bath I dried off and relaxed in bed as the instructions recommend and I was very relaxed and slept very well that night.
I looked the product up online and it seemed a little pricey to me - $50 a bottle, but you get 10 baths out of the bottle. So a $5 at-home mud bath isn't that bad, considering how much this treatment would cost at a spa.

I received these samples as part of my monthly Life Little Box subscription. The texture was impressive considering it is a gluten-free baked good, but I didn't find the taste to be very chocolate-y.
I would not buy these personally, but they may be a good choice for someone who has limited options of baked goods because they are gluten-free.

Biore has had a $2 off manufacturer coupon in stores lately and I grabbed a few to keep in my purse waiting for a sale. The last time I bought strips, they were on sale for $6.99, I used one of the coupons and then used an $1 additional coupon on Checkout 51.
I stopped using these strips for a long time because I found I wasn't getting the results that I wanted, then I saw an interesting video on YouTube that showed how to get great results with pore strips.
The first step is to take a shower, or steam your face. Next, mix baking soda with water to create a paste and gently exfoliate the areas where you will be applying the strips, then apply strips.
I found that doing this gets me much better results than I was getting previously and now I am using the strips more often. I have heard that the Walgreen's version of the pore strips work better than Biore and will be buying some the next time that I go to the US.

I was looking for something to make with my Keurig that was caffeine-free and couldn't find a decaf coffee that I liked. I usually don't like to brew tea with K Cups as they seem more wasteful than a bag, but I wanted to try something different.
The flavour is nice and strong which I really appreciated (I brew it on the largest cup setting) and the deep red colour is beautiful. I found it needed a touch of sweetener for my liking and added some honey and found that I loved the balance of flavour.

I received 2 samples of these in my Life Little Box monthly subscription and was excited to try them, as I love almonds! The first one I popped in my mouth was not very good, it didn't have the fresh almond flavour that I am used to and I didn't like the lemon and sea salt added.
The third nut I tried had gone bad and if you have ever eaten a bad nut of any kind, you will understand how disgusted I was. I threw out the rest of the bag and will not be buying these.

I have been lucky enough to travel to New Orleans a few times for work, and I made sure that stopped at Cafe du Monde while I was there to try beignets and a cafe au lait. The beignets were great, but I could live without them, what really shocked and amazed my taste buds was the cafe au lait!
I had never had coffee that tasted this amazing before (and I have had A LOT of coffee). After researching a little I found out that the slight smokey taste that I love from Cafe du Monde's coffee was from chicory. I bought some of the coffee/chicory grinds to bring home so that I could enjoy this at home as well and it is easily my favourite coffee.
If you are unable to get to New Orleans, I would highly recommend ordering some coffee online and trying it - it is so different from regular coffee from Timmies, and they even sell this in K Cups now!

I resisted the idea of buying tea K Cups for a long time, because I think they are such a waste! Instead of just using a tea bag, you are adding another pod to the landfill. However, I was pleased to find out that Tim Horton's Steeped Tea K Cups can be disassembled and recycled/composted. I am now on-board and love that I can brew my favourite steeped orange pekoe at home and don't have to wait in drive thru anymore. I love these K Cups, they taste exactly like the steeped tea you buy at Timmies. Please remember to recycle :) -

I received this bar in my Life Little Box monthly subscription, but after trying it I would not buy this on my own. It was too sweet for me and the pieces of apricots were tough and leathery. I also found that the peanuts overpowered the rest of the flavours in the bar so I didn't even taste the cranberry. Overall, this is a pass for me. -

I received this in my Life Little Box monthly box and wasn't very excited to try it initially as I thought it was just plain popcorn. However, I was surprised when I decided to enjoy it as a snack - it tasted really great! There is a very light buttery flavour that is perfect and keeps the popcorn tasting light. -
