I received this product complementary for testing purposes along with Boire's gel cleanser from the same line. I found that the idea behind this product was very interesting. I like how the powder is activated by the water, so the product always feels fresh on the face. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the smell and the fact that my face felt really slippery while washing the scrub off. Otherwise, it did a very good job of cleaning the face. My face felt clean and clear and fresh afterwards. I don't think I could use this product as a daily cleansing scrub - it's something I'd use once a week for a deep clean. -

Along with the serum from this line, a little goes a long way for this product. I wouldn't say it's extraordinary or anything. It works just as well as any other cream would. I don't think I'd splurge on it but that being said, it really is a great product. I like that it's cool and it does keep your skin feeling hydrated without making it look greasy. It smells like regular cream but the scent isn't too over powering.

I have tried other eye balms before and I have found them to be slightly greasy so I only use them at night. With this one, it was a bit oily but it didn't look greasy at all. It went on smoothly and dried nicely. I was able to use it both during the day and at night. I do theatre and the bags under my eyes have been awful. After using this product regularly, I found that it did improve the state of my under-eyes. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the price. On a student's budget I don't know if I would be willing to splurge the money on this product but it might be something I come back to in the future.

I really enjoyed using this product. I have never tried Vichy before so this was a brand new experience for me. The Power Serum was probably my favourite skincare item from the box of 3 that I received. A little goes a long way, and I found that I could get away with using a small amount of the serum to cover my whole face. There isn't really a smell to this product, which I love - it feels like there's nothing there. But I do feel it hydrating my skin. This has become a part of my everyday routine because I love the way it makes my skin feel all day. Normally my skin gets irritated by serums but this one probably made my skin better, especially in the dry summer we've been having. It's a bit expensive but I think once I finish this product, I might cave and buy another. I do think it's worth it. -

This brand of body lotion is probably one of the most budget friendly ones I've ever seen or purchased. The smell is nice and fresh, and not overwhelming or too strong. I find that this lotion in comparison to others is a little more watery and goes on a bit slippery. I don't mind, as I use this lotion when I don't need too too much hydration as it does the trick. I have a bottle of this lotion in my kitchen and use it after washing my hands. -

I have never tried ready-to-use wax strips of any kind before - I'm the kind of girl who tries to stay away from waxing as often as possible. So this product review was mildly terrifying for me - I struggle to rip of my own bandaids.
Fortunately, I can say that my experience with this product was very easy and relatively painless in comparison to what I was expecting. The products were easy to use, had a slight sweet scent, didn't leave excess residue, and ultimately did the job that they claimed on the box.
I usually do threading for my upper lip, which can hurt sometimes, but I never tried waxing it. Using these strips was so quick, easy, and so much less painless than I found threading to be. It also got a lot of the hairs right from the root, which was satisfying to see, as it would have been unfortunate if it was just ripping my hair follicles. They left no redness or anything, my face did not react at all to the product, which is a relief because my skin has gotten very red while trying to use other hair removal products. What I liked most was that the box comes with so many smaller sized strips that it's not a one-time use thing. I feel like I can make a lot of uses out of this product with one purchase.
There were times where some residue was left over on my skin, but the clean up packets that came in the box really helped remove them easily. I was surprised at the ease of the whole process and can say that I might consider using this product frequently in the future. I also plan on sharing info about this product with a friend.
Overall, my first experience was very successful.

I have an awful track record with dry shampoos; I can never seem to find the perfect one like some do. I've heard a lot of good things about Batiste's original dry shampoo so I was fairly excited for this sample. The first thing that gets me is smell; if I don't like the smell of a product, I'm less likely to enjoy it. I loved the smell of this dry shampoo. I can't put my finger on what it is exactly but it's a familiar and pleasant scent.
I really like how Batiste incorporated the brown tint into their dry shampoo. My issue with other dry shampoos was always the white residue that would build up on my scalp - luckily, I never had to experience that with this product. I found that it applied nicely and did the trick - it absorbed enough oil to make my hair look and feel much fresher than it did prior to using the product. But over time, I could feel my hair getting heavier and heavier. I feel like maybe I used too much, so I'll have to test that theory again. Other than that, I also found that when I ran my fingers through my hair, some of the dark brown tinted my fingers very slightly. I only noticed this immediately after application, while trying to set my hair, so maybe it has to dry out, but this is definitely something to point out for those who are planning on purchasing/using a product like this - be aware and prepared to have some of that brown residue on your fingers while you're brushing the product in.
Overall, I would say that I was pleased with the product. I'm unsure of whether I'd purchase it again, as I don't frequently use dry shampoos as it is. But after trying, I can definitely say that I would recommend this to a few of my friends who have the same issue with white residue from other dry shampoos, as they would probably love to give this a try.

I initially used this blender with the Dream Velvet Foundation I received in the package but since the colour of that foundation didn't match my skin tone, I decided I'd test it with my regular foundation. It was very easy to use the blender and I absolutely loved the way it's shaped. The pointy tip made it very easy to get into corners and curves of my face and my foundation blended out flawlessly.
The thing I like the most about this blender is the handle on it - unlike other beauty blenders, it's easier to maneuver and apply my makeup without being limited in the amount of sponge I can use. I was also very happy with the price of this product - I know when I need a new blender, I will most definitely be purchasing this one.

I liked the texture of this product as I applied it - it was a creamy mousse, light application. I got medium coverage out of the product, which is exactly what I prefer.
My skin didn't dry out but this product didn't exactly hydrate my skin to the point where I could apply it without using a moisturizer first (I tested it both ways).
Compared to the foundation I currently use, I prefer how weightless this one feels - I don't feel like there is a heavy product on my face, which is great because when I wear makeup I want it to last all day without looking greasy or feeling cakey.
I received this product free with ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. Since I received it complementary, I was given a sample which I never got to see before. That being said, the shade I received was creamy natural, which is the colour I usually buy for other foundations, and it was a bit too dark for my skin tone. It was also a bit more orange for my preference but I mixed it with another matte foundation I use so I don't end up wasting it. If I got a colour that matched my skin tone better, I might purchase this product some time in the future because as I said earlier, it feels light, has the velvety-smooth feel as advertised and it isn't too expensive.
