I recently bought Burt's bees lip balm in color Fig. It is a tinted lip balm. Cost is high for a lip balm. The balm itself is nice minty smelling and goes on very smooth. Lips does not feel waxy after the application. My lips felt very soft the next day. The product lasts on my lips through snacks. I do prefer multiple applications a day though for the nice, minty, cool feeling and smell on lips. It does have a hint of colour which complements my lips. But not too much. The shimmer is also very fine and cannot be felt. For me, I do feel that this balm is more on shiny side than shimmery. I would prefer if the color tint payoff is a bit more because even if I try to layer it, I cannot see more colour on my lips. I did struck a star off because I can twist the tube and remove the product but cannot undo it. I do not know if all the tubes are like this or just mine because it is my first Burt's bees product. But I cannot counter-twist the tube and put the product back into the tube. Value-wise, I find this to be a bit more costly compared to the product amount I get in the tube. Packaging and value if kept aside, this can be my daily usage product which fixes my lips completely in a day, feels and smells great too. An important thing to notice is that my lip balm is a part of 3-pack holiday collection set which included different colours. This was the first colour that I tried. It does say on the package "kissable". However, whatever small the color payoff is, it completely transfers and so it's not kissable. -

I got my eyes set on a really nice orange-ish-red vibrant colour nail polish that I saw on a shelf the other day. The price was very affordable so I thought It would not hurt to try. It was NYC's long wearing nail polish in 111 red velvet rope. As soon as I applied it, I was very surprised with the luster, vibrancy and deepness of the colour. It only took 1 thin coat to have my nails done. Also, took only a minute to dry. The polish lasted more than a week. Since then, I always keep it in my purse. Once a relative asked if she could use my nail polish, I obliged. It was a bad decision. She loved it so much, that she never returned it. So if you get this nail polish, hide it! The quantity is amazing too and can last forever (if someone does not steal it before you finish the product) -

I saw NYC show time lip balm in store and thought it was a great lipstick on budget to keep a spare in my bag. I was wrong. Turned out that it is a very nice, lightly tinted lip balm. I tried it and fell in love with it. I applied it overnight, and in morning, my thick scales on lips all came off revealing nice and soft lips. Now I prefer this lip balm for some really nice tinge and smoothness all day instead of drying lipstick. -

Its unscented, so I can use it during nursing and also when I like to switch perfumes. It has perfect consistency. So when it is applied in correct quantity, it is neither drying nor sticky. I prefer to use it daily after shower. -
