eos Hibiscus Peach Crystal Lip Balm leaves my lips feeling hydrating and me feeling good knowing it's made up of natural ingredients. I am so glad that I got this product for free through Chick Advisor as I love the eos brand to begin with. Then to find out about a new wax free product made me even more excited! Not to mention its natural & vegan! The applicator is still true to the eos brand and its great to ensure you cover your lips regardless if they are big or small. Kudos to them for that! The product also smells and tastes delicious! It reminds me of a pear candy but I can pick up peach scents as well. As for the quality of this product, it is definitely there. It does as it claims, hydrates without the heaviness of wax. However, in my opinion, it does feel slightly weird putting on. It's almost like your lips are being pulled as you glide it on. This I'm sure comes from the lack of smooth wax, but I do prefer the use of natural oils as the wear is longer and it sinks in better as opposed to wax which often sits on the surface. Overall, I love this product from the packaging, to the smell, to the performance. eos Crystal lip balm is a win! -

Shortly after my daughter was born, I decided it would be a good idea to buy a Rocker / bouncer of some sort that would fit in my at home office so that I could get back to business while still having fun with my baby. The challenge was to find something small and affordable as we already have a mamaroo.
Upon going to Walmart the challenge was over as I found the adorable and affordable Fisher Price Infant-To-Toddler Rocker. I also used a $10 off Fisher price coupon available through enfamil.
This Rocker has been absolutely incredible!! It's small, but powerful. It doesn't have any music or crazy features, but my daughter absolutely loves the hanging toys. Literally, she can sit entertained in this rocker longer than anything else we've put her in.
The best feature however, is the vibrations. They are advertised as soothing, but better than that, they help my daughter poo. I know it sounds funny, but for the past few weeks this has been a miracle for my now 11 week old baby. Whenever she is uncomfortable and needs to go, I put her in her rocker. This is far more effective than probiotics or bicycle legs as I'll be changing a diaper within 15 minutes of putting her in it.

I must say when I was chosen to receive monsieur big as a #gift from Chick Advisor I was super excited. I honestly love Lancome mascara as they constantly offer a quality product and following suit, this mascara does not disappoint.
First off, I absolutely love the bougie packaging and the name, it's very "sex and the city". I definitely would have picked this product up based on packaging alone, nevermind the big claims.
As for the product, Monsieur Big promotes 12x more volume and I definitely found it made my lashes look super long and voluminous. I also love that the colour is a deep black so it really makes your lashes pop. And, continuing to come through on its claims, this mascara does last all day without melting under your eyes.
Now although this is truly voluminizing, I did find the applicator to be a bit clumpy. Still, I still love this mascara and will continue to use it. Plus, for a luxury brand it's reasonably priced. That being said, I would recommend this mascara to friends and would buy it in the future.

I was so excited to try this product when I was selected by Chick Advisor as I am someone who constantly buys fruits and veggies but always seem to forget about them and within days find they go bad. Lucky for me, I actually got to enjoy my strawberries days later because Rubbermaid's FreshWorks owned up to its name and kept my produce fresh.
I also love the quality of the container: it's not flimsy like so many other tupperware plastics. It also has a tight seal without being impossible to open. And, on top of everything else it's easy to clean.
The only slight negative about this product is the price. Yes I #gotitfree but when I went to pick it up at Walmart I was a bit shocked at the $13 price tag. I bought a 6L storage bin for less. It also seems like a better deal to pay an extra $3 and buy the large FreshWorks container. I do however, really like the size of the medium for berries and other fruits. I just don't know if this is something I would have picked up based on price prior to trying it free.
Overall, I would recommend this product as it stands up to its claims, but I'd also hope it goes on sale before purchasing another.

As mentioned this pump is super easy to clean with not too many parts to take apart. However, I much prefer my medela with all of its parts because it actually works. I was so hopeful that the Philips Avent double electric would do the job since it's considerably cheaper than all the double electric medela pumps, but I quickly learned why. First off good luck finding a hands free pumping bra that is compatible. So, instead you have to sit there with both hands occupied. Now I wouldn't mind that so much if it was an effective pump, but after 20 minutes I barely pump 40ml. I pump 40 ml in 5 minutes on the medela freestyle. If however, you have time this might be great for you, but I have a 4 week old baby that likes being held and am lucky if I have 20 minutes. I've read a decent pumping takes about 40 minutes on the comfort pump and that seems like too much pressure on your nipples.
So although this pump is easier to clean and apparently affordable (Not so much when you end up buying another pump) it isn't effective in the pumping department which is its sole purpose. Yes you can lie back while you pump, but I highly recommend you sit up, spend a bit more, and buy a medela. There's a reason medela is offered at hospitals and for rental. Avent is not.
Philip Avent makes a lot of good baby products, but unfortunately a pump isn't one.

Knorr Selects Asiago Cheese & Cracked Black Pepper Rice has a bold, delicious, cheesy flavor, and takes the hassle out of coming up with the perfect side dish.
I’m not going to lie, I am not the most enthusiastic or creative of chefs, but I am dollar conscious enough to want to avoid take out, so having received this Knorr Selects in the mail #gotitfree , made meal planning a whole lot easier … at least for one dinner! The reason I say this is that Knorr offers great, easy to follow recipes on their website specific to the side dish you choose. So instead of panicking over what tastes good together, I listened to the experts and opted to make the Italian Asiago Pork.
I have to say I was impressed with the flavor in this rice. I know rice is not the most exciting of dishes, but this one tastes and smells exactly like Asiago cheese and cracked black pepper! As soon as I opened the package I could smell the strong flavor of Asiago cheese and that flavor was apparent throughout the entire meal!
Knorr Selects are definitely something I would purchase in the future because they are convenient and inexpensive. The only negative comment I have to mention is they take more than the advertised 10 minutes to make, at least it did for me. In 10 minutes the rice remained undercooked. Although this is technically a negative, it won’t stop me from repurchasing this product as I know cooking time can vary based on your stove. And honestly, an extra 5-10 minutes of cooking is completely fine to reach a delicious end result!

Now as someone who has enjoyed protein bars before I am comparing powerbar to other brands and not to a chocolate bar as I don't believe that would otherwise be a fair review. In terms of competitor bars, I believe powerbars aren't as dry as other brands which is a definite bonus. The flavour is still quite consistent with what I expect from a protein bar as the chocolate/peanut butter flavour comes from the sweetener they add not sugar. I would also say the peanut butter flavour is the aftertaste.
Overall, good flavour for a protein bar. However, they heavily rely on the sugar alcohol maltitol which means this is high in carbs. So although I would buy these again and even recommend the brand to friends, I would suggest they only be used when burning a lot of energy in a work out.

PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar in Lemon Poppy Seed is the perfect protein bar – it tastes like a coffee shop treat but without the sugar and gives me the boost I need in my day.
As mentioned, the taste of this power bar was really surprising to me. It does not taste like your average protein bar, to me, it tastes like a lemon loaf you’d buy at Starbucks except. So they definitely nailed the lemon flavor. It is also quite sweet for only having 3 grams of sugar. I know the maltitol (aka sugar alcohol) helps add sweetness but it seems like the perfect amount for a lemon flavored product. It is also not as dry as some of the other protein bars I have had, so that’s a definite bonus as well.
Aside from flavor, I also like that power bar relies on sugar alcohols instead of pure sugar as this means no energy crash post consuming this product. This is definitely a product I will buy again for my workout … or just a snack that I won’t have to feel guilty about eating.

This is a little sushi restaurant located in Port Coquitlam and they must great sushi at an affordable price. I also love that they deliver! However, the reason I was sparked to write a review is because of the exceptional service my husband and I received during a recent take out order. We ordered our food and it was ready within a 25 minutes. As we pulled into our driveway my husband received a phone call from the restaurant notifying us that they had forgotten our miss soup and would be delivering it to us shortly. How can anyone be upset about a missed item when the restaurant is willing to deliver $2 worth of soup. And, sure enough they delivered it right away with no expectations of tip or anything. Now that is customer service!
When you dine in the service is also great but don't expect to be waited on like your average chain restaurants. Servers here will greet you, take your order, and bring your food, but you do typically gave to flag them down for anything in between. Honestly though, their all day specials are so cheap that it doesn't bother me if I have to get up and go to the till to pay.

I received these diapers at my baby shower and was really excited as they not only have cute designs, but I've also heard good things about the honest company in general for baby.
Unfortunately, upon baby's arrival my opinion of these diapers quickly changed. We have the newborn size and my daughter was born just under 8lbs. We used these diapers in the hospital and during our first week at home and honestly, they just don't fit as well as the other major diaper brands. It's not that they are too small, they just don't seem to move well with baby. Also, as a ftm I prefer the diapers with the wetness indicator for piece of mind.
Overall, we didn't have any major leakage, but there is just something about the fit of these diapers that has our family saying no thanks. Not to mention they are expensive. I can't justify the price as being a natural brand because there are more affordable and more natural / eco friendly disposables out there.
