i am now completely hooked to Revlon lipsticks. Even though they're pricier than most drug store brands it's completely worth it. You get a fantastic product that seems more like a high end line. I never liked lipstick ever until the last year but now I love it since using this brand. It's smooth, light and doesn't have a perfume smell or taste that will put you off. And it stays on all day until you remove it easily before bed. (I use aloe baby wipes to remove my make-up) My favourite colour I love to use is called coral berry and gives me a nice fresh, subtle uplifting colour to my lips. I also really love that Revlon has taken a stand and now is one of the cosmetic companies that does not test on animals. -

I have a hard time shopping for shoes for my big feet all the time. I love going into the Globo shoe stores for their styles and prices. But they never seem to have anything bigger than a size 10. When I was bored the other day i just happened to go onto their online shop for a peek since i have been dying for a pair of riding boots. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a lot of size 10 1/2 and 11's at really low prices. They had a great selection of boots for the Fall, Winter to pick from so I ordered the kind I've wanted. The service was quick, easy and it instantly emailed me a summary of my order and delivery expectations. i figured for the free shipping I would probably have to wait a least a week like usual shops. But I ordered them Tuesday afternoon and got them Today (Thursday) by Noon. I have never had free shipping that quick! and so I am definitely happy to have them before the weekend. I absolutely LOVE my boots and plan to wear them ton! -

Bought this on sale at Rexall a little while ago when I was looking for a good liquid liner that doesn't use a painting brush. I really like it because the felt tip is angled from thick to thin so you can choose how heavy a liner you want. Or draw it on your eye from thick on the lid to thinner at the crease for a cat eye look. My only issue is that after you apply if you blink a lot, fast it'll smudge easily. But if you're conscious of that and do it delicately after application it's fine and stays on all day. But for it's low price I didn't expect it to be be 100% perfect, How ever it was a great bang for my buck in my opinion. -

I finally decided I need to turf my old cell phone that resembled much like the one Zack Morris had on Saved by the Bell. But since I can't afford the popular iphones, blackberries and I am on a pay as you go service I had check out online for a cell with a lot of the up to date functions. But that wasn't going to cost me a lot. I didn't want a touch screen because I hate finger prints and I've heard if they get the slightest scratch they become unworkable. But i really needed a full QWERTY keyboard for texting friends, family, tweeting and web browsing. After doing some research and realizing how great my old Nokia lasted. I decided to go with the Nokia c3 because it got the best reviews and it had wifi so I wouldn't have to buy a browsing plan etc. I got it a month ago and absolutely love it! It looks way better in person than in pictures. The casing is very sleek, shiny and has a nice big screen to view pictures. It has a nice little camera for video, pictures to take while you're out and about. Although if you're a photographer I wouldn't rely on it for anything special as there isn't a lot of detail using a 2.0 mp camera. There are a lot of fun free apps for using facebook, IM, twitter etc by Nokia that work really nicely. You can listen to mp3's and radio as you go about your day. It's also really easy to customize your wallpaper, home menu to any style or colours you like by manually or downloading themes. If you wait long enough Best Buy often has it on sale as well. I am really impressed with it and it's ended up being a lot nicer to have than I thought it would be. -

I've been to their Restaurants several times and 9 out of 10 times the food and service has been really great. They have a huge drink selection for the big beer, wine lover. Their food presentation is pretty spiffy for your buck and the food is really yummy. Even though I shouldn't eat gluten I always cheat once in a blue moon and have their deep fried Zucchini sticks then suffer later. (but it's worth it.) They do the deep fried food perfectly for me. Not too greasy and really crispy without making the stuff on the inside mushy and over cooked. And the sandwiches they make are filling and full of lots of juicy flavour. The only complaint I have is their poutine at the Almonte location was cold and the gravy was was very watery which was disappointing since I was craving a good plate of poutine. Otherwise the food, service and atmosphere I have always found very pleasant! -

Someone bought me this as a present recently and I love it. You don't have the metal sprung clip causing more pressure, damage to your hair and it's very easy to manipulate around your hair as you want. The barrel goes from smaller to larger to create more natural curls that are tighter at the ends then towards your scalp. Professional curling irons have been this way for a long time and so I'm glad the beauty industry decided to bring it to the foreground for everyday consumers on a budget. The only thing is its a lot easier to burn your hands trying to keep the hair in place before you get use to it. But luckily the appliance comes with a heat protective glove to protect yourself. You're getting great professional quality without a major hit to your wallet! -

If you're looking for an at home dye that doesn't stink and works effectively. I highly recommend Garnier! They are the best brand I have found for dye sensitivity and vibrancy on my dark brown hair for drugstore use. Unless I was going darker other drugstore brands never worked very well for any drastic change on my hair. And they smelled awful during processing. I've also read some where that the brand might be one of the only ones that is PPD free. But don't quote me on that. Even if it isn't, myself and others I have known have found it much better on the scalp for people with chemical sensitivities. It's also very soft and conditioning on the hair after the job with the natural oils in the product. -

OK, if you love the television show Dexter starring Michael C Hall on Showtime and you love to read. You need to pick up Jeff Lindsay’s books series that it’s based on. It’s so much fun reading the mystery of him hunt down the serial killers, deal with his daily life and relationships. But the story lines are quite different from the show so you won’t be bored and expect everything. Some characters are killed off and some are described different or have another story path. Either way I am really enjoying this series on cold, rainy days.. -

I didn't expect to like this Restaurant since it's a steak house and because I really don't like to eat any kind of red meat. But their chicken and vegetable dishes are so rich with flavour and you get a lot of food on your plate. (I usually end up bring home a big doggy bag) I also loved that they had a nice variety in cocktails in their menu to pick from. I always like trying something new but my favourite is their Raspberry Tom Collins. And when I want to cheat for a special occasion I have to have a piece of their cream cheese red velvet cake. It is soooooo good! The cake is nice, light and not too sweet. Their servers are always friendly, approachable and eager to please you at every opportunity. But like most popular restaurants on busy nights like Friday's, Saturday's it can get really hopping and get a tad loud & slow. Otherwise I like to go to it for special nights and great food. -

He was an amazing artist who worked deeply in the industry with tons of famous celebrities after being discovered by Vogue magazine. He truly treated the human face as a complete canvas without covering up who the people were. This book is one of my favourites of his as it is a complete Beauty guide how to help you create looks and pull out your best assets. It's an absolute must for any beauty freak ;) -
