Being gluten sensitive use to be a huge pain when i would go grocery shopping. I could hardly find anything to feed my starch cravings that actually tasted good. But now I'm finding more and more people are having the same dietary issues and they're making more products for us. One thing I have missed greatly are tortilla's to make burritos, quesadillas and wraps. But the only brand I could find for a long time were really small, dry, stiff and gritty tasting. (yuk) But I discovered La Tortilla Factory's line in one of my local stores this past weekend and threw the bag they felt softer, flexible than the other brand so I gave them a try. I made myself some veggie burritos for dinner and they were so good! Even though I still think the price is a bit high for 6 in a pack, it's good to have the option around when I have a craving for some! They're the best ones I have found so far.. -

I have been searching for a good mascara that doesn't clump my lashes together for a longtime. I've tried really cheap brands and really expensive brands. But once I open the product up and after more than one use I end up with caterpillar "gunky" lashes each time. This brand coats my lashes wonderfully with out any of my lashes sticking together each and every time. I'm really happy that I got it, however I like lots of volume to my lashes as i get older because they seem to be thinning out. So the only thing I would would prefer is if the product did that a little more. Otherwise it's my favourite mascara right now. -

I always have a hard time with getting my hair to curl properly because the products out there are usually sticky and dry crispy. Or are really thick creams that weigh my fine hair down and make it look greasy. But I got this in the mail, gave it a go and it's awesome! It defines and pumps up your curls without leaving any kind of product residue in your hair. It also hydrates really well and gets rid of any dry, damaged frizz. Love it! -

I know a lot of people are rolling their eyes at the constant trend of vampire genre novels. But Anne Rice was one of the first authors to bring it to the foreground back in the day and did it so well. I read her series back when i was a young teenager and became instantly addicted to them. They are so much more than just about vampires and contain lots of religious, art and political history in different eras. Along with the entanglement of relationships that one has when they have lived for centuries. As well as lots of action, violence and a little sex. So if you're looking for a vamp series that is much more adult and complex than some of them out there. You need to pick up her series the next time you're in a book store. -

Usually when the colder weather comes in I put all my shorts and skirts into storage for the Fall/Winter. Mostly because I don't have nice legs and i can never find any tights that fit me properly. I'm almost 6 ft tall and curvier that "regular" sizes but not quite "plus" size. So usually the tights are too short or they are long enough and way too tight on my thighs and tummy. But since I have had really good luck with Reitman's pants, I decided to give their tights a try. Especially since they were 2 for 1 for around ten dollars. I figured if they didn't fit I could give them to one of my girlfriends or many cousins. But I wore them out yesterday with a cute pair of shorts, boots and they fit me so well. They were really stretchy and comfortable the whole day. Another problem I have often had in the past was that some would have too much nylon or polyester and would make my skin crawl and itch all the time. But these ones were so soft and felt like I wasn't wearing any at all. And they come in all sorts of different fun patterns and regular/plus sizes. -

I have been wanting a good powder for a while to help keep my skin matte during the day. Since the ones I really wanted were pricey I had been avoiding the purchase. But I went into a Pharma Plus and found that NYC had a ton of products on sale for 1.97. Usually I have been un-happy with the brand in the past, but i figured what the hell at that price I'll try anything! I gave it a go today since my skin was especially oily in the hot weather and I was completely happy with the product. It went on so nicely, smooth and blended well into my skin most of the day. If you're out for a really long day though I would recommend keeping it in your purse to reapply through the day. However, when I accidentally smudged on too much blush it didn't correct, blend it like my other powder foundations were able to. So if you're on a budget I recommend it. If not i would stick to your tried and true product. -

I have a heck of a time finding slippers for the colder months every year. Mostly because womens slippers only ever go up to a size 10 and I'm an 11. And the odd time that I can squish my feet into a 10. The soles are made very badly, start to crack and fall off cheaply after six months. But I went into Payless shoes and managed to find a pair 11 that seem to have a real proper bottom, sole like a shoe that isn't just thin plastic glued onto felt. Although they were a lot pricier than I usually like to spend on slippers, I think they were worth the money for the better structure and absolutely warm comfort of a moccasin. -

I have extremely sensitive, dry skin andso finding the right body wash that isn't too perfumed or drying has always been a problem for me. I've always heard how good oatmeal & Shea butter is for the skin over the years so when I came across St Ives' body wash on sale I decided to give it a try. And I absolutely loooove it! It makes my skin so clean and soft like a baby's. I always get compliments when I use it for how good I smell after a fresh shower. But the scent is so natural and very subtle it doesn't bother my anti-perfume nose and allergies at all. I am definitely sticking to this as my regular body wash all year round. -
