So lately I'm on a tight budget when it comes to none necessities. When I was in dire need of a new blush brush I happened to look at the one's in a Rexall Pharmacy brand 'Blue' supposed professional grade. They were all under 10 bucks, so i figured what the hell and didn't expect them to be so great. But when I got my flat top blush brush home I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be typical plastic/synthetic bristles that weren't going to last me very well since it doesn't say on the packaging. But the bristles feel so soft and fine like natural hair grade quality and I've been very happy using it. If you're on a tight budget I really recommend their brand to go with.
(Edit: the picture ways 'Posh' and with red handles. But their newest ones are called "Blue" with blue handles. My camera doesn't work and I couldn't find any proper pictures online.)

Being a red head for years on and off I've had the common problem of the colour fading between colours to either an orange or dull brown colour. Usually I use manic panic to refresh my colour but at the store this time I decided to be adventurous. Since kromask, manicpanic are the same price and the kromash seems to have more product for usage I decided to give it a try. And i wasn't disappointed at all! It left my hair feeling conditioned and a brighter red. So i recommend their line if you colour your hair any bright tones and want to keep it's depth and save the bank between colourings. -

I was given this product by the lovely ladies of Chick Advisor for winning one of the Pose-Off contests. Although I have always had a horrible time since I was very little with very dark & deep under eye circles and have had bad luck with other products. I have happily found after a week of use my dark circles are in fact lightening and looking much better! So I am very happy with the results. My only negative comment would be that the cream leaves a little bit of a sticky film on your skin all day that comes off in gunky clumps easily. Otherwise I have found it to be fantastic :) -

Since I usually love NYX and had never been disappointed before with their products. I decided to pick up one of their black jumbo eye liners (which I've been on a hunt for a good one) and they were on sale at Rexall for a great price. The colour is very vibrant and goes on really well and smooth. But unfortunately like others have said it creases into your lid so easily. All day i had to keep wiping the colour off of my lid and it looked like i was wearing eye liner from the night before. I'll probably only use it when i use a primer, shadow and want a intense whole black smoky eye lid so it won't matter when it creases. -

After so much searching in stores this summer, I finally was able to find OPI's special crackle nail polish. (You could tell its been popular because the display only had one left) Although I found it pricey for a polish, I knew OPI has always been a good brand. I put a layer of hot pink and then the black crackle on top. It starts to crackle as soon as you apply it so you have to cover the entire nail quickly and heavily. Or else it just swipes off weirdly. But it turned out exactly how I wanted and will continue to use it a lot with different colours. Love it! -

I have to say I've gotten hooked on these crackers. With having a gluten and wheat allergy I have a hard time finding free of versions that actually taste good or won't empty my wallet. And although these are pricey for crackers, they are worth it. They are even organic and full of lots of nutritious seeds, fibre and low calories. Eating by themselves is a little dry and boring. But my favourite thing for lunch is to eat them with herb & garlic cream cheese or reg cream cheese with smoked salmon. Or anything else really! They're are so tasty. -

Last year I started to watch the TV show True Blood at the suggestion of many of my friends. After really enjoying the show, I found out it was based on a book series. In the past I've always found if I loved a Tv show or Movie that the books are even more fun to read. The Sookie Stackhouse series didn't fail me at all. I have bought, read all the books up to the recent "Dead Reckoning" hard cover and love them immensely! They are definitely not a heavy intellectual read and a little fluffy. But the action, mysteries and lots of sex keeps you glued to the pages. When ever i start one I have a hard time putting it down to go to bed each night. So If you love the show True Blood on HBO you will REALLY enjoy Charlaine Harris' books. My favourite thing to do is to enjoy them outside in the sun with a nice tall drink. -

Bought the Colour Shield conditioner on the weekend because It was on sale and my hair is in pretty brutal shape from stripping black off and depositing a nice red. Although I prefer my conditioners to have nutrient oils or keratin protein that repair your hair. This one isn't too bad for a typical conditioner found in stores. It felt very moisture rich and has left my fried ends feeling very silky, smooth. It's a nice light conditioner that doesn't leave my very fine hair full of build up or weighted down, like i find with most common conditioners in drug stores. So if you're on a budget this month and colour your hair, I definitely recommend it. -

Since I have been growing out my hair really long and I have very fine hair. I definitely need a de-tangler after I wash my hair every time. Or else it's a painful experience to comb my hair into my preferred part. So I decided to give this product a try and since I colour my hair red (which fades so easily in the summer) I picked up their colour shield version. It's really easy to shake up, spray all through out the knotted hair. It's taken out my knots very easily and didn't leave my hair feeling greasy like I have had with other products. It's also helped keep my red from fading to an ugly brown tone which lightly conditioning. I recommend it for anyone with fine, long hair. -

Like many girls, I suffer horribly from nasty dark under eye circles. I have tried all kinds of products to get rid of them, but nothing seems to work. So I just try to cover them as best I can. The only problem is a lot of concealers are too dark or yellowy for my very pale skin and look awful. Or they are very greasy and make me break out or look oily on my skin. Since I was in a mood this morning to buy a bunch of cosmetics and lots were on sale. I gave this one a try and it actually came in really light ivory for my skin tone (But comes in darker shades too). It goes on evenly and you don't need a lot for coverage. It made my eyes look more awake and brighter. The product also dries matte on your skin! Definitely was worth a try for me. -
