Hi Patty Hope you had a great Canada Day. I worked. The store was a mad house. I'm so very curious on how many active members. Chat soon

Same to you! I hope you get to relax and replenish your energy. Nothing really special planned so far... Just hanging out with family. How about you?

Thank you for the welcome :) It's cool to find another Chick with triplets! Ours just turned 4 in May - they keep us pretty busy (as you know)
  Thank You

Thanks so much. I had my daughter a few days late on June 17th at 4:28 p.m. it was as perfect as I could of wished for. Another all natural, pain med free child birth. From first contraction to her birth was only 12 hours total, much faster than my two other children and only two pushes and she was out. No stitches. Just a beautiful blue eyed beauty with brown hair, blue eyes weighing 7 lbs 7 ounces. She was weighing 6 lbs 4 ounces when we left the hospital yesterday evening. Although I know it's normal for them to lose weight after birth as a breastfeeding mother I am concerned but all the healthcare workers weren't so Im trying to be positive. I'm so happy I didn't have to get induced on Thursday and miss my son's graduation. Thanks so much for your well wishes and concerns! All the best to you!
  Thank You

Hello! Thank you for the comment I am studying to be a child and youth care worker in school! I will be finished by hopefully October and I plan on working with youth who have behavioral issues, and self harm issues. I want to eventually go back to university and get my degree in counselling psychology.

I've been teaching in the public system and it's also going to be 16 years come September. I've taught Kindergarten as well and it's definitely one of my favorite grades. The students are so full of wonder at that age and you're right about helping them read and write for the first time. It's such a special achievement for both the students and the teacher. K-2 is where I consider myself to be the happiest when teaching and I wouldn't hesitate to go back once the opportunity arises. Although I love what I'm doing now as a Resource specialist, it's an entirely different perspective and mindset. It's amazing you were in that field for so long! Have a great weekend!
