I was lucky enough to find this Maybelline New York Dream Cushion Foundation for the discounted price of $4.35 at The Real Canadian Superstore. It comes with a small sponge that I find perfect to apply this foundation with. It offers a medium coverage and does hide blemishes quite well. Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation applies wet but then dries to a natural-looking, dewy finish. It provides a light to medium coverage that feels light-weight on your skin. It is small enough that you can easily carry it in your makeup bag. -

I am loving using this eyeshadow palette during this hot, humid summer that we have been having over the past two weeks. In my opinion, this is the perfect summer palette as all the colors compliment one another. If you have a bit of a tan, these eyeshadows will provide you with a very natural- looking appearance that will make your eyes glow with very little effort on your part.
There are instructions on the back of this NYC eyeshadow palette as to where each color should be applied. It also comes with a eyeshadow primer, that will keep your eyes looking untouched, and not in the least bit smudged for at least twelve hours. These eyeshadow colors are very buildable if you want to go for a more dramatic evening look. The plastic case is pretty durable if you drop it.

I have actually used all ten of these Nyx eyeshadows from this palette. Some of the colors are very bold, while others are perfect for a simple everyday makeup application. I like to be dramatic with my makeup, especially at work, as my kindergarten students are so observant and will always give me feedback when my makeup matches my clothing. They love when I pair this eyeshadow palette with a bold blue Nyx eyeliner. This eyeshadow palette has very little fallout and will remain perfect my entire work day. -

I bought this Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Liner Pencil in the color 031 Jungle Green. I would describe the color as a light emerald green. I find this color is complimentary to my chestnut brown eyes. This eye liner applies easily without having to tug on your upper eyelid. It stays put and hardly smudges, even on extreme heat alert days.
I use my Essence duo eye pencil sharpener to quickly sharpen these eye pencils, which works like a dream. A few turns of the sharpener, and a nice point is easy to achieve with these eye liner pencils.

I received a generous sample (30 g) of Rimmel London Lasting Finish 16 HR Foundation from a sales associate at my local Rexall. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. They were trying to get rid of their samples to the lucky ladies who just happened to walk through the store. The color that I received was soft beige and I was thrilled that it was a perfect match.
I was impressed that this foundation does not transfer to clothing or if you touch your face. It is an extremely natural-looking and lightweight foundation that feels like you are simply wearing a moisturizer. My skin feels so nourished and it is able to breath, without looking and feeling as if I am wearing a mask. I would say that this foundation provides medium to full coverage. The air conditioning in my home has not been working for two days now and this lasting finish foundation has certainly lasted for 16 hours without even budging. The temperature outdoors has hit thirty four degrees with the humidity and almost twenty nine degrees inside my home. I would absolutely recommend this Rimmel foundation.

I found these Burt's Bees Exfoliating Cleansing Towelettes at Metro and was very surprised with the sale price ($5). I have been wanting to try these for a few years now, and I could not pass up on a good offer.
These cleansing towelettes are thick and durable as well as a generous size compared to other products currently on the market. The scent of peach is so delicious and has an abundant amount of wetness on the cleansing towelettes. There are small bumps on the surface of these to exfoliate your face. Even though I have sensitive skin sometimes, these cleansing towelettes do not dry out, or irritate the skin on my face and neck. I am certainly going to try out other scents from this brand. Lastly, I love how these Burt's Bees Exfoliating Cleansing Towelettes have a snap closure to ensure that they do not dry out.

I purchased this Wet n Wild lipstick in the color #536A Dark Wine (the color matches the description on the lipstick tube). I like that the top part of the tube of lipstick is clear plastic so that you can see exactly what color the lipstick will be.
This lipstick glides on effortlessly and does not dry out your lips after it has been applied. This particular color does contain a bit of a shimmer. These Wet n Wild lipsticks do come in an assortment of colors and they are very affordable. If you eat, or drink while wearing this lipstick, you will need to re-apply as this lipstick will transfer very easily to cutlery or drinking cups.

I purchased this eye pencil in the color 926 Electric Blue which can easily be worn with many shades of blue clothing, from sapphire blue to denim blue. This NYX eyeliner makes my chestnut brown eyes pop. I received many comments from the women I work with, how pretty the color compliments my olive complexion.
These eye pencils are easy to sharpen and apply quite easily, with not much tugging on your eyelid, close to the lash line, or waterline. They hold up pretty well on humid days with a bit of smudging in the corners, or where you have drawn your wing.

I am so pleased with the results that I received from this mascara. I am very lucky to be blessed with quite long eyelashes to begin with. This mascara has two wands in the tube that are clearly labelled. One end has a black primer that adds tons of volume to your eyelashes, and the other side contains the mascara infused with fibers which adds extreme length to your lashes.
I enjoy that this mascara does not add clumps to your lashes and is very soft to the touch once applied. Loreal Voluminous X Fiber Waterproof Mascara does not flake and lasts all day and night keeping your lashes curled and separated. For me personally, I received many compliments about my eyelashes, and asked if I was wearing false lashes.

I purchased several of these in varying summer colors (light peach, light pink, light plum, and light berry). I love how they apply so smoothly and smells and tastes sweet. I do find that the color looks darker in the tube, than how the color actually appears on your lips. This lip gloss does stay on a decent amount of time, however will transfer to coffee cups, or water bottle. I love the perfect amount of shine and glitter this lip gloss provides! -
