If you are looking for a great affordable under eye cream that works well and won't hurt the bank the elf illuminating eye cream is a great bet.
I have used this eye cream for about six months now, originally ordered it online as at that time elf was not in any stores near me, this product sells for about $10.00.
So a little bit about the product:
Firstly, this eye cream is great ! It has a water based consistency while still leaving a very moisturizing feeling under your eye lids, It doesn't leave my eye lids greasy but does make them smooth. Originally I purchased this to get rid of the dark circles under my eyes and I would say it did help a great deal with that, my dark circles have definitely decreased in size, they are not as dark as they were before and what I didn't expect was that this cream actually took away all the puffiness under my eyes.
When you first apply this they say to tap it in the under eye area to get the blood flowing back there, you will feel a slight cooling sensation which I love, I feel like it makes me feel great. Keep in mind a little bit of this product goes a long way, I have just run out now and have not ever had to repurchase until now which I think is great for the money.
The product is intended be used twice daily one when you wake up and get ready and the other time before bed. I use it both times of the day and I especially love it in the morning because it makes me refreshed and bright.
I think this is a great affordable option that does a good job in comparison to some of the other high end products.

I recently purchased a sample of the too faced melted liquefied long wear lipstick in the colour Chihuahua, I must say this colour is perfect pink nude, with a slight purple undertone. This colour matches most skin tones very well.
The consistency of this product is not what I had initially expected, originally I thought this would be a more matte lippie but I find the consistency was perfect, it wasn't sticky like some lipglosses but it wasn't dry like a matte lipstick. It is more of a creamy buttery texture that leaves your lips feeling smooth.
In terms of the applicator I feel that this is one of my favourite applicators, I find the felt tip actually helps spread the product evenly across my lips as well I find it saves more product. I am not have to use as much product on my lips as I would with other lipsticks.
I definitely think that this product is totally worth the hype, if you are willing to spend the money on it I would say go for it you won't regret, and they have a really good colour selection. I will be repurchasing this, if you do want to try this out first before spending the money since it is somewhat expensive, I would check out Sephora, see if they have samples they can give you or travel size items, that way you don't have to spend all the money before knowing it you like it.

Recently I had ventured into Sephora and found a little lippie sample box I decided to try out. It allowed me to spend $33.00 and get 6 lippie products, two of which were full size and the rest were deluxe samples. One of the full size products I received was the Smashbox Always on Matter Liquid Lipstick in Stepping out.
I must say when I first say the colour of this product I was a little nervous, this is a more brown toned lipstick colour and for me I have a light to medium completion so I was worried that it would wash me out, I must say I was completely wrong. The colour is absolutely amazing, I will say when it first goes on your lips it is slightly a different colour then it dries because it goes matte, but the final result is amazing.
In terms of the formula, at first this was another thing that made me a little nervous when you first put on the liquid lipstick it has a very watery formula, it feels like it can easily come off your lips that it's going to be transferrable but after about 15 seconds it dries completely matter, I mean it doesn't feel like you have anything on your lips. It is not the type of matte liquid lipstick that leaves your lips feeling dry and chapped it just feels like your normal lips. I tested this out to see if it was non transferrable and it absolutely was, I had ice cream, drank coffee, kissed my husband and nothing came off, until I used makeup remover.
In terms of the price, the product does go for $28.00 and personally I think it is worth it. I try and save money anyway I can and do not normally buy makeup items priced that high, it is very hard for me to justify it but I think this gives you a lot of product and lasts the way you want a matte lipstick to last.
