I typically love NARS products and was looking forward to trying their Audacious Mascara. The packaging is beautiful classic NARS and it has the type of wand that I do enjoy, the plastic ones that usually have short "bristles". However, the wand is also very flexible so when I try to apply it onto my very stubborn straight and short-medium lashes, it's very difficult to get a nice application of product because the brush bends so easily.
While I wasn't blessed with long and lush lashes, I imagine this might work a little better as one has a little more to work with and may not have to apply the same amount of pressure to get a better outcome.

I will be reaching for L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Feline Mascara on a regular basis. The wand is really easy to use and because the brush is thin, I can get in the corners of my eyes without ruining any other makeup that I've applied.
While the product claims to be a volumizing mascara, I find it doesn't provide as much as I had expected. It provides a good amount of volume and length though that I find it looks great for a natural every day. If I'm looking for something a little more dramatic or that pops a little more, I will layer this on top of another mascara as it does a pretty great job at keeping my lashes separated and doesn't clump. It also didn't run or transfer onto my under eye area after a full-day at work, which is something that happens often with other mascaras because I can get very oily by the end of the day (combo skin).
This is definitely a great mascara to have on hand and I'll be keeping it in my makeup collection on a permanent basis.

It's a beautiful black eye liner that glides on so effortlessly. However, if you're looking for a liner to use for tightlining or have sensitive eyes, I wouldn't recommend this one.
This liner does not stay put at all, or it didn't for me in this case. Not long after application that the product was sticking to the surface of my contacts, so my vision would be blurred and completely the opposite effect I was aiming for with my contacts. As the day went on, my eyes watered, and became very irritated and itchy.
I really wanted to love this product because of its deep black colour and creamy consistency that made application super easy and beautiful, but it just wasn't meant to be, for me. I have kept this among my small collection of liners though as I think it will work well on my lids if I smudge it out and then layer shadows on top to intensify any darker looks.

I had been using St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub prior to trying this product. I love the apricot scrub and while it doesn't claim to address blackheads, I figured, for some unknown and uneducated reason, that if I'm using a physical exfoliator, it automatically should help. However, I was curious about St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub because it did allegedly address both blackheads and acne, and I had also read very positive reviews about this scrub, so I had to try it!
When I first saw the actual green coloured scrub, I was surprised how fine the scrubbing agents and again, assumed for no good reason, that these teeny tiny micro-sized scrubbers were not going to do anything that the apricot scrub wasn't already doing.
I typically cleanse my face while in the shower and as soon as I got out, I immediately reached for a mirror, expecting very little improvement. Well, if you haven't already guessed, I was so wrong! I was shocked and just as equally impressed by what I saw, and only after using this product for the first time. It had actually removed the majority of my blackheads that I have only been able to successfully get rid of if I'very used nose strips that specifically address blackheads. These are usually way too harsh for my skin and I end up having dry flaking skin around, and on my nose, for at least a week.
This is a great product and anyone with stubborn blackheads should give it a try. I really don't think you'll be disappointed. Again, the scrub is super fine and smells so pleasantly fresh and sweet. Since it is such a fine scrub, I feel like I can use this product on a more regular basis, compared to the apricot scrub and its larger scrubbers, which can sometimes feel too aggressive on my sometimes sensitive skin.
This is a must-have and when you also consider the reasonable cost of this product, you really can't go wrong.

The medication I'm taking gives me extreme dry mouth and that tends to lead to not-so-lady-like breath, along with the metallic taste that one particular medication leaves, which can last until the next day. I don't often go anywhere without water or tea with me to sip on all day to maintain comfortability and if that's not possible, I'm probably chewing gum to at least mask the unpleasant taste and likely my breath.
When I saw an ad for Biotene, I was immediately intrigued and said I had to have it. I also wondered how I went 7 years without realizing such a product existed. The product is pretty easy to find as most drugstores carry it, however, the Moisturizing Dry Mouth Spray can seem pretty expensive for the amount you get.
At the soonest opportinity, I tried this product with one quick spray and I couldn't believe how well it worked. It was immediate! My mouth no longer felt like the desert and it left a nice and mild minty-fresh taste. I was kind of expecting the product to have a gross consistency but that wasn't the case at all.
While the cost of the spray does seem steep, you really only need one small spray for it to be effective, so I think a bottle can potentially last awhile depending on how often one has to use it. For me, one spray can last for more than several hours.
Everyone experiencing dry mouth needs to try this product because it works! I wish someone would have told me about this product years ago.

I had read years ago that skin absorbs moisturizer much better when it's still wet after taking a shower so I've always try to apply moisturizer as soon as I get out of the shower and have towelled off a little. This is one of the reasons this product caught my eye since it was made exactly for this purpose. I didn't think it would be much different than my previous routine, but boy was I wrong!
When you first apply the moisturizer, as per the instructions on the bottle, I didn't think or feel like it was going to be enough since the water left on your skin makes the consistency much lighter, almost like you were applying a gel lotion as opposed to a cream. Suread enough, it was more than enough. My skin felt more moisturized than when I used "normal" moisturizers, even from Jergens. I've used it over the last 2 months, and my skin is typically dry, but even more so during the fall and winter months, so this really exceeded my expectations.
I prefer the green tea scent over the coconut as I find it much lighter, fresh and natural smelling, but that's really just a personal preference. My only tip though is toops ensure your bathroom is nice and warm when you're applying this product because it can be little chilly while you wait for the product to soak in to your damp skin. :)

This has so far been the only effective air freshner-type product that keeps my home smelling fantastic at all times. I personally find this product so much more aesthetically appealing than other similar products. One would hardly know it was an air freshner if they've never seen it before, which is a huge plus! There are many scents to choose from, so I'm pretty sure there's something for everyone. You can select different degrees of scent depending on your personal preference, and at the lowest setting, a can lasts for about 2 months, give or take.
The only thing that that I "dislike" about this product, is the sound of the spray. I guess it can't be avoided since it is in a spray can form, but almost every single time it sprays, the sound catches me by surprise and it actually makes me jump out of my seat! It's kind of funny, but it isn't subtle, so you can hear it, which I wish wasn't the case, especially when I have guests over.

This is one of my favourite toothpastes because it really leaves my mouth feeling so fresh and so clean! I'm also a sucker for pretty shiny things, and this toothpaste definitely wins major points with its subtle sparkle. It also contains micro-cleansing whiteners that are supposed to help polish the surface stains on your teeth, so it doesn't feel a little grainy, but it's not like you're brushing your teeth with sandpaper. I actually like the texture of it.
While I haven't had "blow my mind" results from this product, I have seen some small changes as I continue to use this product. If it weren't for the price of this product, relative to the amount of product you get, I find it a little more on the expensive side of the toothpaste spectrum, but the price is consistent with other Crest whitening products and other brands that offer similar products.

My nails look amazing when I'm wearing the Pink Top Coat, which is not a natural look for me after years of nail biting, cuticles that hate me, and having dry hands that still crack in the warmer months and no matter how much moisturizer I apply.
I really like the subtle pink colour and my nails look so healthy. I've been trying to break my nail biting habit and this has definitely helped because I just can't bring myself to ruin my normal looking nails. I find that this product last much longer than other top coats or products that claim to do the same thing and doesn't chip as quickly. The instructions say to apply another layer if necessary and to remove the polish every week and reapply. I have not yet had to apply another layer throughout the week and if I really wanted to be a rebel, I wouldn't even bother removing it every weekend, as per the instructions, and just let it go as long as possible.
My nails feel stronger when wearing the polish, but I haven't seen any real noticeable changes yet, although it's only been a month. Personally, I would recommend this product to others even just based on how it improves the look of my nails and that it has lasting power that I have not yet experienced with other similar products. It's reasonably priced, so I think it's still worth trying to see if it works for you as I'm sure not everyone will have the same experience.

When looking for a new skincare routine (let's be honest, I didn't really have one other than cleanser and moisturizer), there was one product that essentially came up time and time again, which was Sunday Riley Good Genes. Everyone seemed to be raving about this product and despite the hefty price tag, a large majority were still drooling over it so I was intrigued. As a read more about it, it seemed to address many of the concerns that I had, which included dull skin, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles, on top of being ideal for all skin types. It didn't take long to convince me to give this a try.
As I've previously hinted, my normal routine contained two products and the word "serum" was not a part of my regular vocabulary. Since being introduced to this serum though, I'm a fan....of both serums and Good Genes. I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin's texture, I have yet to experience any dry skin, which is shocking now that we're moving into the winter season, and I do feel like it has improved the overall brightness of my skin. I personally haven't noticed any huge changes in my dark spots, but I have noticed that some of the lighter ones are getting lighter. Maybe it will take awhile for it to work its magic on the older and darker spots, but that's yet to be determined.
Overall, I do love this serum but the price is hard to justify on a regular basis given the results I've seen so far so I don't think it's something that I would purchase again and again.
