I am a huge seafood fan and shrimp is one of my favourites for sure so when I saw these at Walmart I was very eager to try them. These were priced at $10.00 which I thought was a lot considering there are not very many shrimp in the box.
These were easy to cook and didn’t take long at all. I thought the size of the shrimp was nice but what ruined these for me is defiantly the garlic & herb butter that they are coated in.
Firstly there is way too much butter on them and on top of that it doesn’t taste good. I tried these once and then gave away what I had left. I will not purchase these again.

I was shopping at Dominion looking for new finger foods when I came across these boneless chicken chunks. These were priced at about $10.99 which I thought was a decent price. I loved how well these coconut chicken chunks paired with the the spicy mango dipping sauce.
Firstly the chicken is all white meat and the batter is crispy without too much coconut (I find if there is too much coconut in a coating it tends to burn) the dip is thick, not too sweet but that being said it is super spicy. These were enjoyed by all and I will defiantly buy these again for my family and I.

I was shopping at Dominion and I was looking for a variety of frozen fruits when I noticed this bag of wild blueberries on sale for $4.99 which I thought was a great price. These come in a resealable bag and there is a great amount of blueberries in this bag.
I use these for smoothies and the flavor defiantly holds up even when I’m using veggies in the smoothie, These blueberries are quite small but it didn’t matter because of the way I was using them.

Ok so is it weird that I have never purchased honey? This was the thought I was having while searching Dominion for honey. I quickly realized that honey is not cheap as I was scanning through the many brands, this was actually the cheapest at $5.99. I purchased this because I wanted something to add to my smoothies to make them a bit sweeter when using veggies as well.
This was thick and tasted great and it actually was the best honey I’ve had. I have to mention that I love the packaging because it had a rubber nozzle/hole at the top that you have to squeeze the honey out of and when your done squeezing the honey flow stops so there is absolutely no mess or spillage. Honey is super versatile so I have put it on everything from oatmeal to toast and even use it as a dip.

I was looking for new snacks and being a huge popcorn fan this product immediately stood out to me. This is caramel popcorn with almonds and cashews so it defiantly has the great sweet and salty combo and when I purchased this at Sobeys the original price was $6.99 but they were on sale for half price which is a steal considering how much product you get.
I found this popcorn to be fresh and although it was yummy I kind of wished there was a little more caramel on it. I also found that there were plenty of almonds inside but not too many cashews. The popcorn comes in this plastic container so the product has remained fresh for quite sometime now. So overall it’s a great snack and I would defiantly recommend them and I will repurchase them for sure.

I feel like I have seen these treats numerous times at different people’s houses and had never tried them. So one day while shopping at Sobeys I noticed these and thought they were a little expensive at $6.99 but I figured they were still worth a shot.
I really enjoyed these amd found the texture to be really good, crunchy but light and airy. The outer shell is thin and not hard at all and the center chocolate/hazelnut is super delicious without being too overwhelming. I loved that these come in a metal tin making them remain really fresh longer.
They are also packaged in two separate bags on the inside for even longer freshness. I have purchased these multiple times since so I think the somewhat high price point is defiantly worth it and I also think that these would be a great addition to a fancy dessert.

I received this for free from Chickadvisor and I was very excited to test it out. I had used the lightening product as well and on to the color, I received the luxurious red hair color and based on how dark my hair still was from the lightener I honesty wasn’t expecting the red to take at all but I was very wrong.
I left the red dye on the ends of my hair for the maximum 5 minutes and was amazed from the second I washed it out and took a glimpse in the mirror. It was quite bold and extremely noticeable, I found this red dye very easy to mix and apply to my hair.
Overall this was defiantly my most successful at home hair coloring and I’m still amazed at how well it worked, it will be interesting to see how long the color lasts after washing it a few times. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone looking to try a bold color and I will for sure use this again in the near future. Great product!!!!

I received this for free from Chickadvisor and I was very excited to see if it would work on my medium brown hair or not. Firstly the lightening product, I have always been afraid to use products like these because I always thought they would fry your hair so for mainly that reason I decided to just dye the ends of my hair.
I used this lightening product and the instructions were easy to follow and it was overall easy to do. Make sure your wearing a shirt or are covered by a towel that you don’t mind messing up because it will also change color.
I kept the product on for the maximum time of 45 minutes and I was actually very underwhelmed by the results, it barely changed the color of my medium brown hair so I was not hopeful to say the least about the color dye showing up but boy wasn’t I wrong, the red hair dye actually showed up very bold and I was amazed!
I will defianlty recommend this to others looking for this kind of product and I will for sure use it again myself when wanting to achieve a bold color on my medium brown hair in the future.

Ok so being a mom I have heard about these things for a while now but once my son turned 5 I thought now would be the perfect time to get him one. He’s now old enough to understand how this little guy works especially with the no touching rule.
I found our elf on amazon.ca for about $25.00 and he’s a blue eyed boy just like my son. The elf “arrived” the first night of December and my son was immediately hooked and in love with him. I will admit that although it’s been fun trying to find a new spot every night it has also been a bit challenging but there is always google.
This set also came with a book explaining everything about the elf and it also includes a page in the back of the book where your child can say when this tradition started and also the name they picked out for their new friend. I truly believe that this will be a yearly tradition that I will defiantly keep for as long as I can. Great idea!

I was looking for bronzers on amazon.ca and I came across this one from wet n wild and was a little off put by how light it was and this is coming from the palest girl on the planet. I read the reviews and it seemed as if everyone loved it but as a highlighter and not a bronzer. It was priced at $4.99 which is a great price for either a bronzer or a highlighter so I ordered it. This comes in quite a large pan so you get so much product and I quickly realized that it’s defiantly not a bronzer but rather a nice subtle highlighter. This is perfect for everyday use when you don’t want a blinding highlighter but just a slight shimmer. I would defiantly order this again. -
