I enjoyed this body cream from l’Occitane. It has a nice light scent that is not overpowering and it is not greasy or sticky. It moisturizes very nicely although it does take some time to sink in but it is nice and light and moisturizing. It has quality packaging and it is clear it is a high end product. I was afraid that I wouldn’t like the almond scent but it is much nicer than I expected - very light and fresh and not overwhelming. Overall I liked this product and it is an effective body moisturizer but I do think the price point is a bit high to repurchase. It is nice but I don’t think it’s any more effective than body moisturizers available for half the price. Overall a nice product though and would make a good gift.

I found this product to be fine - I am not a big fan of fabric softeners in general but I found this product to be effective and the scent was pleasant but not overpowering. I have switched over from fabric softeners to fabric refreshers recently so I found this didn’t do as good a job of removing odours and freshening clothes as those products but it did leave a nice pleasant scent and it did soften my clothes. I don’t think I would repurchase but this is what you would expect from the fleecy brand in a new scent. -

I really like this toothpaste. It has a very fresh and long lasting mint flavour and I have noticed my teeth seem whiter since I have started using it. It keeps your mouth feeling fresh for a long time because the flavour is so powerful and it effectively cleans my teeth and doesn’t cause sensitivity. The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s a bit messy because of its black colour and there are weird flecks in it but otherwise it is a great and effective toothpaste. -

I use an electric toothbrush regularly and I didn’t love the experience of this toothbrush. It doesn’t really move the bristles around it kind of just vibrates in your mouth which I didn’t find to be a very effective clean. I guess this would be okay and better than a manual brush to travel with but it is just not comparable to an electric toothbrush in effectiveness. The bristles were soft and good quality and it was comfortable to handle but I didn’t like the vibrating sensation and I didn’t find it very effective. -

I liked this moisturizer. It has a nice, lightweight gel texture, it absorbs quickly and it is fragrance free and formulated for sensitive skin. It moisturized my skin effectively and didn’t cause any irritation. I really liked the texture as it is very lightweight for summer and seems like it will sit nicely under sunscreen or make up if used for the face. Overall I thought this was a really nice product and I will be happy to use it. I probably wouldn’t repurchase though because I prefer my body moisturizers to have other actives in them to reduce the number of steps I need. This is a great basic moisturizer and I’m sure many would appreciate its simplicity. -

This product is fine and probably does what it says it does but it was not for me. I did not really like the formulation and texture of it and the feel of it on my skin. I was conscious of it always after I put it on because it leaves a bit of a filmy residue and does not sink in all the way. I could not really get over how much I disliked this to properly evaluate the efficacy of this product. For others who aren’t so particular this product is probably fine but it wasn’t my favourite. -

I have been a fan of the Neutrogena hydro boost line for awhile and while I liked the original gel moisturizer for the summer I didn’t find it hydrating enough for Toronto’s dry winters. This extra dry version solves that problem - it’s super hydrating without being greasy or clogging my pores - I only use it at night because of its weight but I wake up with plump moisturized skin that feels like what I remember my skin feeling like when I was much younger. It is fragrance free so it does not irritate my skin - it is a great product and I highly recommend. -

I just recently found out I had seasonal allergies and Reactine has significantly improved my quality of life. The extra strength version acts quickly and clears up dryness and coughing for me - I am constantly dealing with a dry cough because of irritation to particles in my environment so taking reactine clears this up quickly and also clears up itchiness and other discomfort that I experience - I don’t use it every day but I do use it any time I will be in contact with dust or plants or anything aggravating and it really vastly improves my reactions if not eliminating them entirely. I could not recommend more for those with seasonal allergies. -

I was very excited to be gifted this product by Butterly in exchange for an honest review. I was in need of a compost bucket and this one is exactly as pictured. It is on the larger side which is convenient as I live in a condo and means it doesn’t have to be emptied as often - but it is still small enough that you will have to turn it over relatively often which is good for compostable items that tend to smell. It is easy to install and is very handy to have hanging on the door. Overall this was a great addition to my kitchen and is a quality piece that is worth the price charged for it. -

I was thrilled to be gifted this stock pot from Butterly to try in exchange for an honest review. This pot is a very attractive purple colour and it is very sturdy. It is huge and a great size for making big batches of soups, stews and sauces. It’s non stick coating makes it easy to clean - it must be cleaned by hand so this is a huge plus, and it fits nicely into my drawers even though it is a very large size. Overall this is a very sturdy and reliable pot that I’m sure I will get a lot of use out of and it is a reasonable price for its size. -
