My fiancé and I went to Milestones this weekend, and we could not stop talking about what a great time we had!
We arrived for an early dinner (around 5:45pm) and ordered drinks and appetizers - we let our waiter know we were in no rush and we might take a little longer to order our main course. Our appetizers came right away and our waiter didn't bother us until we were almost finished our plate (we shared a ceaser salad and the Tai chicken bites - please please please try the Tai bites, they are amazing!). We order our main course - steak and stir fry (also so delicious) and then the waiter was back again just in time to take our desert order (too bad we were too full)
Over all the service was perfect, the atmosphere was relaxed and we had a wonderful evening.
It's been a long time since we had such a great experience at a chain restaurant.
I would definitely recommend Milestones if you are looking for a perfect night with someone special and you aren't looking to spend a fortune. - Our bill came to just under $80 and we had 2 appetizers, alcohol, pop, and 2 main courses.

I received this product for review this week and so far I'm impressed with its quality and look.
A while ago I purchased the Maybelline Stylish Smokes in charcoal but I was disappointed with the colours (I don't think they were very complimentary to many skin tones) and the shadow seemed to fade quickly through the day.
However, it looks like Maybelline has improved the quality of this product because so far the Emerald Smokes that I am currently wearing is staying on my eyes (looks the same as when I applied it this morning) and the colours are beautiful! I love how the 3 colours complement each other and of my skin tone (it doesn't emphasize the red pigments in your face). I would recommend this product to anyone looking to try the green smoky eye trend (I know I will be trying it soon), the price is great for the quality of this product!

This polish allows you to customize your look because you can wear what ever colour you want as a base and just use this as a top coat.
It's a fun look if you want a little bling for your nails, plus the price is right because it's not an everyday polish.

I think the price is great and I never think twice about picking up a couple extra sticks in the check-out line.
I also love that they come in mini sticks!
My only point of improvement for tide - please please please fix the cap so it won't fall off in my purse anymore :(

I'm a mascara junkie - I love trying all of the new ones and I can't believe I haven't reviewed this one until now. I really liked using L'Oreal's Collagen Mascara, I felt like it pumped up my lashes with volume and thickness and I really liked using the brush. The only think I didn't like about this mascara was it dried out fast - and because it's a bit more expensive than other brands I would like it to last the tube to last me just as long.
I would recommend this product for anyone with thin lashes or for those nights you want to pump up the sexy factor with your eyes!

Go Lean Crunch has been one of my favourite cereals for quite a while. Not only is it great for you, it also taste delicious - I love the crunchiness! The flavours in it are just sweet enough that it when it mixes with the milk it reminds me of breakfast cereals I used to eat as a kid - mmmm.
Plus this cereal is great as a snack on the go - just measure out a cup and seal it in a zip-lock, it`s one of my favourite afternoon treats. Or you can mix half a cup in with some yogurt and fruit and it makes the perfect desert. I love this stuff!
Side Note: Every so often you can this cereal at shoppers for less than $2 or you can buy it in bulk at shoppers because it can be a little pricy for the amount you get at the grocery store.

I love colouring my hair and so when I got the opportunity to review Clairol Natural Instincts Vibrant I was pretty excited.
The application was the same as most home hair colour kits - a very simple 3 step process. What I was really impressed with was how fast the colour set into my hair, it only took 10 minutes to settle and then I washed it out. Anybody who regularly colours their hair knows how messy this stuff can get when you try and wash it all out in the show, so I am happy to report that with this product the mess was minimal and it easily washed off the shower walls.
After you wash the entire product out of your hair you need to apply the deep conditioner that comes in the kit - in this particular kit the conditioner tube is very small, so i recommend using the whole tube at once.
I was really impressed with how vibrant the colour was when I dried my hair and I liked how shiny it looked. It's been 1 week now and I still feel like my hair is super vibrant.
The special thing about this new product is it comes with a Week 2 refresher package, so in one week I will use this package in the shower and it's supposed to add back tones that are lost from the original colouring in the first two weeks. I'll report back soon :)

I recently had the privilege of attending a tasting at MoRoCo Chocolat in Yorkville, Toronto. Your experience at this restaurant is magical from the moment walk in the doors and through the displays of chocolates, macaroons, fondue, and cookies to get to the lounge area.
The chocolates we had were as delicious as they looked and our chocolate expert guide showed us how to enjoy our tasting even more by incorporating sight, smell and sound to our eating experience.
I will definitely return to MoRoCo chocolate, it's a great place to bring a girlfriend for afternoon tea (they serve it every day from 2:30 - 5) or someone special for brunch or an a la carte dinner (they have a full menu, not just sweets) .

I tried got2b dry shampoo for product review and I was really impressed with the quality of the product. I have tried dry shampoos before (I've tried the baby powder thing before too) but I didn't love the results. I always felt like the product was just masking the oil and I usually resorted to wearing my hair up in a ponytail after spraying the dry shampoo in.
The got2b product is different; it doesn't feel like it masks the oil, instead it feels like the oil is gone. I can see a noticeable lift in my hair and I feel confident to wear my hair down. I really like this product and I would definitely recommend it to someone looking to skip a day. This product would also be great to use as a refresher if you are going out at night.

I received got2be POWDER’ful for review last week and I am ecstatic over how well this product works! The back of the box says "10 seconds 2 volume" and that is exactly what it does.
All you have to do is dab a little bit of the powder to your roots, rub it in and you've got instant volume. One of my biggest peeves is when the volume I had in my hair is gone by the end of the day, but with this powder my hair stays in place, its stays bouncy and I have the same amount of volume in my roots in the evening as in the morning when I first styled it.
I love this product; it has already become one of my favourites - one of my beauty secret weapons. The price is totally worth it and the quality can rival some salon brands.
