The BackJoy is an S-shaped piece of plastic with intermittent knobs sticking out of it. There are knobs on both sides of the device and at the ends. These knobs are spaced so that they touch your back, neck, and other body parts on trigger points, which I often find to be sore. The design of this device allows you to position the knobs where you need relief and apply firm, direct pressure. Imagine someone digging their thumbs or elbows into your back...it hurts so good! But be careful not to apply too much pressure for a long duration. This can aggravate your muscles and you will be sore the next day. -

The Diva Cup is a life-changing product. It replaces wasteful tampons and disposable pads without limiting convenience or protection. This product consists of a flexible tapered cup which you insert into your vagina to collect menstrual blood. Depending on your flow, you need to empty the cup into the toilet several times per day. The Diva Cup is made of medical-grade silicone and lasts for about 1 year, after which you can cut it up into small pieces before throwing it out and it should degrade naturally in the landfill. Think about the pile of non-degradable tampons and pads thrown out in 1 year! Environment aside, the Diva Cup is also healthier for your body: since it does not absorb menstrual flow, it does not dry out your sensitive tissue. Inserting and emptying the Diva Cup takes some practice but it's really not difficult. I can't even feel it when I'm using it. And it's secure enough to use while exercising or swimming! The cup may become stained slightly brown over time, but as long as you clean it well (you can boil it), it continues to be safe and effective. -

I suffer from chronic constipation due to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and medication side-effects. I have used laxatives like Sennakot in the past and they work but can be hard on the system. My family doctor recommended that I try using RestoraLAX daily instead. All you do it dissolve a capful of powder in a glass of water or other liquid and drink it once or twice per day. Once dissolved, RestoraLAX is clear, colourless, and taste-free. It doesn't turn your drink into jelly either! IMPORTANT: You need to use this product daily for a few weeks before it will be fully effective. This is because it works by drawing fluid into your bowel to hydrate stool that may be "stuck," allowing it to pass gently through your bowel. This hydration takes time and you may feel bloated for a little while, but it's worth it to achieve regular bowel movements. This product is pricey but worth it. Other PEG-based laxative powders (e.g. Lax-a-Day) work just as well so buy whichever is on sale. -

But Nivea Essential Lip Balm protects and soothes my lips, leaving them soft and silky. This lip balm is quite thick but never greasy so you can slather it on and let it do it's work. I put it on before bed and it doesn't leave stains on my pillow case. It also smells lovely...my boyfriend asked if it was chocolate flavoured! This is my top choice for lip care. I'll use it forever! -

I bought this product to replace the salicylic acid face cleanser I previously bought from Exposed Skin Care (they charge way too much to ship to Canada). This product seems to work quite well. I still have some acne but my face feels clean after using the cleanser without getting dryed out or irritated. (And dry skin is a HUGE problem in Alberta!) This foamy cleanser has a light, fresh scent and I only need to use one pump of cleanser to clean my entire face. This product is a bit expensive but a worthwhile purchase. -
