Wow! Sambucol Black Elderberry Daily Immune Drink Powder is simply amazing!
I was surprise at its refreshing taste. Light, it is a flavour like I have never tasted before. At first sip, it reminded me of a cran cocktail. But once in my mouth, it felt like a treat in itself.
With its advance formula, it has scientifically been shown to support and boost immunity. As a bonus, each serving contains the equivalent of 5.4 grams of Elderberry .
And with winter quickly approaching and germs clinging in the air, I look forward to adding Sambucol Daily Immune Drink Powder to my morning constitution.

I recently had an opportunity to try a 7-day sample of Clarins Double Serum (#DoubleSerum #ClarinsSkinCare) for my honest review on behalf of Butterfly (@thisisbutterfly @chickadvisor @clarinscanada). Having used the product for the last full week, I am somewhat pleased with the results. Although I noticed a bit of an improvement on fine lines around my eyes, one has to remember that this product will not be effective on deep set lines/wrinkles.
So far, I have noticed that my skin feels more hydrated and slightly glowing and radiant. I do not know if this has to do with the fact in which one of the serums has a beautiful honey-like tinge to it. For those that only care to use odorless products, be warned that Double Serum does have a subtle fragrance, which I find to be quite elegant!
The only factor that I was not overly crazy about is its absorbency, which is possibly due to its thicker consistency. This did surprise me a bit, since it does make note that it contains Hyaluronic Acid, which I find to be easily absorbed into my skin. All this to say, I preferred applying it at night as I felt that it leaves a bit of a tacky feel, which made it very uncomfortable to add makeup afterwards. But overall, I find Double Serum to live up to other products produced by Clarins.

What a truly outstanding cleansing! Due to the fact in which I regularly use shampoo that includes tsubaki oil, I was really psyched to test a sample of Shu Uemura's Ultime 8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil on behalf of Butterly.
Although it would have been nice to have English directions on the bottle \(i.e. it only included Asian directions), I found that I only needed 3 or 4 drops per cleansing.
Not only is it infused with tsubaki oil, it also ginseng and other precious ingredients. Although I was a little worried that it would leave an oily sheen, I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case; not only did it have a wonderful scent that reminds me of green tea, it was easily absorbed and it left my skin feeling soft and silky.
All-in-all I am definitely planning on adding Shu Uemura Ultime 8 to my regular daily skin care routine. The only negative issue that I had was that the sample was too small; I love it so much that a larger sample would have been great! Otherwise, I can easily give this cleansing oil 5 stars.

I was quite excited to finally get a chance to try Canadian owned Orange Naturals 'Collagen Skin Revive' on behalf of Butterfly for my honest review of the claims made.
The first thing that caught my eye was that the fact in which the product is GMO and Gluten free and that its ingredients are Naturopath approved.
In terms of the claim that the powder has a slight orange flavour, I did not find this to be the case, be it in terms of smell and/or taste, even when I attempted to taste just a few grains of the powder. I actually find this to be a bonus; although I love orange, the fact that it is flavourless means that it will not interfere with the flavour of a liquid that it can be mixed with. Now they do recommend a serving of the product in water, but I also experimented with it in my tea, coffee and even cola. That being said, I did not notice any negative aspects in doing so.
In terms of the claim that Collagen Skin Revive is easily dissolvable, they were bang on; not only did the powder start to dissolve upon adding it, in this case to water, the very few granules that remained after a very brief stir went on to dissolves on their own.
As to their claim that the 2.5 g Verisol Bioactive Collagen Peptides producing visible changes in wrinkles on my face, although there may have been a slight firming of the skin, I regret to say that I did not notice anything remarkable. But Orange Naturals does say that noticeable improvements will be experienced after taking Collagen Skin Revive for 28 days. Unfortunately, between the lag time of Canada Post deliveries and having been in and out of the hospital due to COVID, I was only able to do test it out for 2 - 3 weeks or so. What I am looking forward to is continuing the product so that I can see if there will be the visible improvements that Orange Naturals claims.
What I truly can attest to is that I have noticed a remarkable change in my intestinal system, in terms of regularity. I do not know if this has to do with the claim that Collagen Skin Revive works on the body's cellulite and/or the various nutritional components that make up the product, but this was a real bonus!
One way or the other, based upon each of the positive aspects that I have discussed, I am quite happy to be able to rate Orange Naturals 'Collagen Skin Revive' a 5 out of 5 star rating.

I recently received a full-size sample of Covergirl’s Simply Ageless 3 in 1 Lash Plumping Mascara from Buttterfly/Chick Advisor for my honest opinion concerning its claims.
A true and tried company, Covergirl states that Simple Ageless acts as a primer, a serum and mascara all in 1
and that it is infused with Hyaluronic Complex and Bamboo Serum, which claims to plump, volumize and lengthen lashes in 4 weeks of usage, all the while treating lashes for less fallout. In addition, it is supposed to be suitable for sensitive eyes, even for those that were contact lenses, such as myself.
In terms of usage, I find that the curved brush really helps in its application, including both my eyelashes and my eyebrows. The mascara itself goes on quite easily without any clumping, be it in one or more applications.
As a positive, I love the fact that it is a 3 in 1, since it saves me both the time and money from having to purchase and apply a primer and a serum.
All-in-all, I enjoy that it does create a more plump and volumized look, along with the fact that Covergirl claims that its cruelty free. The one pet peeve I have is that I was really looking forward to seeing much more lengthening the lashes. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case.
Based upon the factors that I’ve mentioned, I rate Covergirl’s Simply Ageless 3 in 1 Lash Plumping Mascara 4.5 out of 5 stars.

With a sweet tooth, I was excited to have recently had the opportunity to sample Bryers Creamery Style Vanilla (#BryersVanilla / #gotitfree).
Its versatility enhanced a number of different desserts. Be it with a piece of Mom's apple pie or used for one of my vanilla milkshakes, I found its soft and creamy marshmallow taste only helped to enhance treats.
Compared to other brands that have an artificial taste, a true bonus is that Breyers uses the freshest, natural creamy ingredients and you can definitely tell.
Although a little high in calories, it has become a staple in my house!

Being a huge fan of creamy desserts, I was so excited to have had the opportunity to sample the new Bryers Canadian Desserts Sugar Pie (#gotitfree / #BreyersCanadianDesserts).
With its luxuriant and rich taste, the flavour brought back memories of one of my favourite Canadian sugar bush desserts, with loads of caramel. So it was easy to get a bite of this golden brown sensation in each and every spoonful of sugar pie delight.
With three other flavours making up the new Bryers Canadian Desserts line, I am not kidding when I say that I plan on trying each and everyone of them. "Whoever came up with these flavour sensations definitely thought outside of the box!"

I recently had the opportunity to sample Kitset’s Mango Citrus CBD powdered drink mix (#gotitfree), which simply required 500 mL of cold water.
Although refreshing, I found that there was not much of an initial taste. Rather, the citrus-like flavour was much more tangy when it was left in the fridge for a while.
Although each packet is supposed to contain 98% pure CBD, I did not find that it had much of an effect on the pain that I often suffer due to my spinal affliction. But I would be interested to try their grape flavoured mix to see if the flavour is a bit more intense and to see if an additional packet may bring about relief.

Having recently received my free sample of Covergirl Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream, I am blown away with the way in which this gel-like moisturizer feels weightless, just as the name implies. It seems to have a cooling effect, as it is well absorbed by my skin, which can sometimes be a little finicky.
The scent itself is outstanding, in that it has a citrusy aroma, yet the scent is not overpowering.
The only reason why I gave this cream a 4-star rating is due to the fact in which I wish that there had been more to this moisturizing sample. But in saying this, I am excited to purchase it in the near future.
