First thing I noticed about this deodorant was the smell! It smells fantastic! I got the lavender one by request, so I expected to like it. It goes on smooth and doesn’t leave a white paste like some other types. I’ve only just received it 2 days ago, so only got to wear it once so far and on a slow day, so I can’t speak to how long it lasts under vigorous activity, but I’m happy so far!! Love that it doesn’t have aluminum and will be buying again, if not for the scent alone! -

I’ve always used the dove cucumber deodorant because I like the simple and clean scent that doesn’t overpower my perfume, so I was a little disappointed to have received the Coconut and Pink Jasmine scent but was pleasantly surprised by it! I might even switch over to it completely as it’s very nice but not too strong or perfume-y.
Since receiving this sample, I’ve looked into why aluminum is added to products and what I’ve come up with is aluminum salts are used in antiperspirants to clog the sweat glands so that you don’t sweat as much and it also protects you from BO because there is no sweat for the bacteria that’s causing this smell to feed off of. That being said, I’ve noticed i get smellier quicker while using this deodorant, but I have also read that it could be a detox phase where your body is acclimating to the lack of harsh additives such as aluminum. Whether or not that will normalize is yet to be determined.
Furthermore, I’ve learned that the evidence in aluminum products causing cancers is strictly correlation and there’s no clear evidence on causation, however I believe that we are all probably better off using natural products so with that, I’m supportive of this product.

I have to say, I was so excited when I got picked to try something by Chick Advisor.... until I saw what it was. I rarely wear concealer and never wear foundation because I don’t like how it looks or feels on my skin. Had the product not been shipped directly and I’d received a coupon instead, I probably wouldn’t have gone to get it. Wow I’m so glad I tried it!!!!! It goes on easily, doesn’t smell really like anything, and doesn’t leave a residue. When used under my concealer, it leaves such a nice finish and the concealer doesn’t streak or ball-up (like rather than sitting on the skin nicely) or cake around scabs making them WAY more visible. In fact, when used under my concealer, my skin looks flawless. This is he first primer I’ve ever used so maybe that’s normal, but all I can tell you is I need to find out where to buy this!! Thank you Chick advisor for selecting me to review this item!!! -

These DO work, however they made my teeth sensitive as ever! I can only use them once per month or so, as frequent usage made my teeth literally hurt. I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence but I don't like that. The wraps are easy to apply and instructions are easy to understand. They made my teeth whiter as well, which is the point. For a person with less sensitive teeth, this may be the perfect whitening product as the price is right! -

For someone as pale as I, a good bronzer is a must. This product is cheap and effective! After shaving, I would put a bit of lotion on my legs, 2 or 3 spritzes of this product, and rubbed it all in for a perfectly (NOT ORANGE) sun kissed look!! You don't need much either, so it lasts and lasts, and by rubbing it in over your body lotion, it does not leave streaks! Bought it after using my roommates, now all my girlfriends have it! -

I think I'm the only person in the world whose had bad luck with the GOSH mascaras ive tried. The 'Crazy Volume' was my most recent purchase and it would melt onto my under eye after only a few hours of wear. It did, however, add a lot of volume and definition to my lashes, which I liked! I am determined to keep trying though because my girlfriends have found their perfect GOSH match and I will one day find mine. I'm also a HUUUUGE fan of the fact that they don't test on animals!!!! -

With a heavier and darker makeup for nights out, I focus more on the dark pink, whereas for my fresh "barely there" daytime look, I can pull a lighter shade of the blush for a more subtle look. I, as most other reviewers mentioned, went out to buy this product based on the hype, both online and through friends. Before purchasing, I was lucky enough to have walked into an empty Shoppers Beauty Boutique and was given a full makeover with it first! It was enough to sell me. I've been using it for about a week now and love it. The diversity of colours gave me a great look during the day, and then I actually just built over it for a darker and more bold evening look for a company pub night. The difference between this pallet of colours versus a lesser-quality eye shadow is all in the powder itself. The colours are more vibrant, the sparkles are more subtle and classy, and the quality of the powder allows it to stay on all day. The colours obviously are also meant to complement each other and therefore make blending a dream! -
