My cat doesnt have short hair but I didn't see one for long hair i bought it anyway hoping it would help my dog doesn't shed and I just got my cat less then 6 months ago so I've never had to deal with hair all over everything it took a few weeks to get him used to it but I am amazed at how much hair can be removed its a great product I would brush him a few times a week prior to getting this brush and it can't compare my house is almost free of cat hair everywhere -
