When I first openned the product, all that I really wanted to know more is what scent the product is suppose to be. As it give off a very strong scent that I simply have no idea how to describe.
The product in the package smells a bit too "strong" for me, because I do not really like the scent myself.. however, after applying it, and air dried a bit, the scent is not as strong anymore.
I felt the cream is more watery than the other creams and lotions that I've used. I wouldn't really call it a cream. It rubs on easily, and left my skin very smooth and soft. I was expecting it to be a bit oily, however, it wasn't at all. It got absorbed into my skin very quick. Which I really do like.
The packaging seems more like a product for diets/weight control than for skin care. However, it wasn't bad.
The product seems very natural from the large list of ingredients, and the company does stress on having products that are chemical free.
I would really recommend the product, as it did leave my skin feeling softer, and knowing that the product is all natural simply adds points to it. However, I do hope that the scent could be adjusted.. I really don't think it is the kind of scent that everyone would be able to take.

My Opinion:
There are many excellent reviews on this product, on how amazing and efficient this product works. In my opinion, comparing to the many other eye makeup removers that I've used, I prefer this one. The product is filled inside a tin container, and the product itself seems very similar to vaseline. The texture is also similar to vaseline. It is not till I turned over the tin and looked at the ingredient that I realize of the reason why it is so similar to vaseline; which is because it contains petrolatum, which is what vaseline is. Comparing to vaseline, Balms Away is of a whiter colour and it is unscented.
Many of you probably uses vaseline to remove your makeup, and thus, I wanted to compare Balm Away to Vaseline. I had the same makeup on both of my eyes, and I used the same amount of Balms Away and Vaseline, one on each eye. I gently rubbed both eyes in circular motions for 30 seconds. I wiped both off with a wipe, and found the eye with Balms Away came off a bit cleaner than Vaseline. The eye with Vaseline feels a bit moist while the side the Balms Away feels a bit smoother than the other. Overall, if I were on a budget I would use Vaseline to remove eye makeup, however, the down side is, Vaseline shouldn't be used as eye makeup remover, because it can clog up the sebasceous glands leading to infections and styes. Also, Balms Away is fortified with Vitamins A, E, and C and a blend of plant-derived sterols and lipids, which are all good to the skin and lashes. So, in the end, I would definitely recommend people to use Balms Away, instead of Vaseline. The price may not be that good, but, all you need is a little amount of it, so a tin of it (2.2 ounces/63.8 grams) should last for quite a while!

I love this product so much! I've tried other brands before, however, those prices really scares me. elf cream eyeliners are very inexpensive and well worth the price! Put it on, let it dry, it doesn't smudge or fade. I've tried putting it on my hands, and when it dries I purposely try to smudge it, it doesn't smudge unless you put a lot of force into it.. which I doubt anyone would. I've also tried the water test, put some on my hand, couple of drops of water on top, then try to smudge it again, it does come off, however, you do need to put a little force into it. $3 for something like this is well worth the price! I was thinking of buying around 10, however, I did realize that they won't be discontinuing the product and I really don't need that many... as one pot will last for quite some time. Why buy the $20 products when the elf $3 pots are well worth the price. I have it in black and ivory, the black is AMAZING! I'm a bit iffy on the ivory though, because it is not as creamy as the black. It's a must buy!

I really like the smell and the texture of the product, however, it did not really do anything to the skin in the long run. After using it, the skin feels smooth and moisturized. I have combination skin butmy skin is pretty good in general, I don't get breakouts often; however, I did realize that whenever I use the product and a couple of days later my skin would start breaking out. It's a great product as it is very inexpensive and it smells nice, however, I don't use the product on my face any more, instead I use it as an exfoliator for my legs and elbow.

The product is from elf's Studio line, and it costs $3. There are four colours: green, yellow, pink, and blue. The product is amazing for transforming morning look to night look, or just for something plain to have it on alone. It has a silky look to it and it attracts light. I feel as if this is the thing that girls that loves to go to clubs and parties should own and have. It is the most amazing when it is placed on dark eye shadow shades, especially black. When worn alone, it can't really be seen, however, it does give that glowing look to the eyes. This palette can also be used to tone down your eye makeup by making the look softer.

As Vitamin A and Salicylic Acid may be a bit too damaging for the skin to apply too often. Also, you may get the skin too adapted to it that it may cause further problems in the future. This is a great treatment for acne problem skin. Do keep in mind that this shouldn't be applied to sensitive skin, or areas with thin skin; such as the area around the nose. I do not like the fact that the product causes the drying of the skin, however, that is one of the thing that tags along when you use products with Vitamin A and/or Salicyclic Acid, so that shouldn't be too much of a concern. This is "the" thing that I would always carry in my bag, whenever I feel a pimple coming, I rub it on, and it would disappear in no time. -
